   My Escaflowne Rant
Ok,have any of you ever watched an anime that was good, engaging, nice characters and everything...until you get to the end, and they totally mess it all up?
Well, that's how I felt today when I neglected my schoolwork to finish watching the Escaflowne episodes that I have. I was left with less closure than some breakups that actually happened to me!!
I won't give any spoilers just incase anyone wants to watch it, but I'm a romantic. People like me want the happy ending with hugs and kisses and all of that mumbo jumbo. So all in all, it was a little like medieval Gundam with some really neat Gregorian chants and a hectic love square (pentagon?). Then the flaming asteroid of an ending...oh well. They can't all end like I want them to, but it would be Sooooo nice if they would. GRRRRRRRR!!!
