Potential for Haku Cosplay
Well, right now I'm having a hard time. I want to go to the anime cons that are around here in Texas, but I have nearly a year to go, and I need ideas for costumes. I have one already, including hair, but I need at least one other. I was thinking of doing Haku from Naruto, but the mask is going to be a doozie! The shoes are all over Ebay, and I can make the haori, obi, pants and maybe the undershirt if I can't find any in stores. But if anyone can think of a way to make a Haku mask, let me know. I thought of life-casting and then building it up, or maybe even going the polyester resin route. Then I remembered that if my apartment manager knew I had that kind of stuff in my apartment (resin is wayyyyy flammable), I would be tossed out into the bin before I could blink!
So if anyone reads this and gives more than half a care, pm me and let me know how I would go about making my Haku mask. I did see a mask online, but it was 70.00, and it was a cheap plastic one!!! I know that it is totally stupid to charge that much for something that looks like a five-year-old would wear it for a Halloween mask, so I'll take any suggestions I can get.
