Now I know I'm stalling.
Yep. I have only gotten a little of my paper's work done. It's due on Thursday, but I'm setting myself an earlier time to have it done, since I have to start studying for the next exam. It's going to be the Thursday after next, I think. In any event, I am stalling a little. I finished all of my episodes of Bleach, and my Naruto download was moving so slowly that I was sure that I'd finish my paper before they were done. Now, I'm not sure how 2 gigs of Naruto got downloaded in less than five hours, but it happened, and they're calling me. But I can't watch them yet. I have to at least pull the information from all of my sources tonight. I have five pretty much done, so that leaves the four books on social stratification, the three articles I got from the University of Leicester website, and that stupid article on art. I'm not sure, but I think I might have stumbled onto my thesis topic!
There's not too much information on it, but all in all, I haven't fallen asleep while reading it, so it's not bad. Anyway, I guess I should get back to it.
Oh, I just remembered something my first college professor told me.
That which we gain easily, we esteem lightly. That which we take pains to earn, we hold tightly, and remember.
He was a strange little Italian man, a marine biologist. The man once saved his wife from being attacked by a shark, and he reminded me of Gonzo from the Muppet Show. How that man could come up with something so poetic, I have no idea.
Oh, and another thing. I have a book that lets you construct your own Shakespearean insults. I thought I would inclued one.
-Ahem-
Next time someone does something really mean, you just tell them that
"Thou art a covetous pale-hearted miscreant."
They'll be so confused, they won't know what to say, and then you can run or beat them up at your pleasure, whichever you prefer.
