Do you remember?
Yeah. A friend and I wrote this one when we were thinking about the war in iraq. we were sad, cuz' many wives and children lose their husband or father, brother or friend in this war for Iraqie freedom.

Do you remember? It was so long ago.
I’d call your name,
And you’d hold me so.

Do you remember,
When we first went out?
You thought me conceited,
I thought you a lout.

Do you remember,
That black dress I’d wear?
I’d put it on
And how you’d stare!

Do you remember
Those soft words spoken?
My heart was once strong,
Now it’s shattered. Broken.

Do you remember
When you asked me to dance?
I didn’t know how
But I took the chance.

Do you remember
That moonlit night?
You took my hand
And held it tight.

Do you remember
Those strolls down the beach?
You’d hold out your hand
And I’d try to reach.

Do you remember
That long, long walk?
Just you and me,
Forever we’d talk

Do you remember
Those nice warm days?
I’d reveal my soul
And in you’d gaze.

Do you remember
That soft, tender kiss?
It’s you and that
That I now miss.

Do you remember
When I found you were missing in action?
I was so surprised
I could show no reaction.

No, you didn’t leave,
You were taken,
By a cruel twist of fate,
Unknown. Forsaken.
