Well, golly gee!
I think it would be appropriate to tell you that I name most everything I own. So when my dearest roomie calls me crazy, she's probably not too far from the truth. Here's a list of my friends so far:

Charles Williams (Chucky Wills, or just Chucky or Wills): My beloved PowerBook G4
Pikachu: My beautiful sony stereo with wood panelling. Le sigh.
Steve: The printer.
Einstein: The Microwave. Yes, even the Microwave has a name.
Squirtle: My iPod, whom I doth cherish greatly.
Pippin: The dreaded cellphone. I have to tell you, I hate cellphones. It's the bane of my existance, but moving away to college made it rather necessary to keep in touch, and the cellphone (complete with stupid plans) makes it very easy. Damn the ease with which technology is taking over my life!

It would please me greatly if I could help Natalie name some of her things, but she's been quite resistant to the idea. I'll have to start talking to her appliances behind her back or something. Name them secretly. Maybe one day she'll come back and I'll have little post-its all over her stuff, with silly little names. Heh heh, hmmm....

I have yet to name my lamp. And the room. I'd like to give the room it's own name. When I get a car, of course, I'll have to christen it with something appropriate, as well, but that looks to be a very faraway day, indeed.

So that's a little bit more of my insanity for your viewing pleasure. And, you will be pleased to know that I did finish my homework. For tomorrow, at least. Still stuff to do for the rest of the week, but hopefully like I did today, I'll have more time to post sporadically through the day. Get back into the swing of things.

I don't know about you guys, but sometimes I think I am in serious need of some psychotherapy or something. I'm a walking contradiction. Me and a friend are thinking about forming a club. We might even make t-shirts, just for fun. Whooo.

My Weekend was one of immense pleasure. It was so much fun, and so relaxing, though a little more sleep probably would have been appropriate. But hell, it was just nice to see everybody. Friday I went over to the high school football game and sadly, not much has changed, besides ticket prices. They still suck major balls. It was not worth my spit, let alone $6.

Then afterwards, my friend Babs came over and we indulged ourselves in a little bit of Super Mario All-Stars on the old SNES. Now those are some good times. Around one-ish, we were feeling a tad hungry, so we drove over to Steak N Shake and had a merry old time eating and chatting with Greg, who graduated some odd years before us and is currently employed at said restaurant. He gave us some deformed forks, with which I will now brush my hair, just like they do in Disney movies. Turns out he was nearly done with his shift and was going to a party at Joey's, who also graduated before us, and invited us to come along. And so we did.

The party was pretty much dead when we got there, and Joey himself was alseep (we laughed at him... jolly good times!), but there were still some drunk people to amuse us and movies to watch. We put in Monty Python and the Holy Grail (the one reason why I will forever love the British), and watched that. I only drank a bottle of Mike's Hard Lemonade because I figured it would not be smart to get drunk and then show up at home like a trashy, wasted whore or something. But in actuality, neither of us went home - we spent the night there. Later, my dad and I decided it was probably better that my mom just be left uninformed of this.

Saturday, I went shopping with the family and looked for Homecoming Dress for my sister (which is next weekend for her). Then, I called up some of my buddies and we headed over to fellow FSU student Chris' so they could see him before he went to HHN (the damn thing sold out). We stayed for about an hour, chatted and watched the OSU game (go Buckeyes!!), before heading over to the local park and tossed around the frisbee. That soon broke, so we threw the football instead. Later, we played on the swings a bit like tiny little tots and I took a bunch of pictures.

For dinner, I went to Outback with the family again. Jesus H. Christ, I miss those meals. It was so much fun, and I had steak. Medium rare, juicy, perfect steak, dripping with A-1. It was so beautiful, I nearly cried.

After dinner, my siblings and I decided to go bowling, and then we called up some friends and did just that. My brother had some of his friends come along, and I went and picked them up out of the goodness of my heart. Midnight bowling, though, is quite a bit of fun. Even if I do suck at it. My highest score was an 88. In my defense, I didn't do all that well, but hey, it was a blast.

Sunday was spent lounging about, driving the five hours back to Tallahasse, eating at MoMo's with my dad, and then getting ready for Monday. I didn't do much, actually, because the weekend just mellowed me out. That was definitely what I needed, and I'm glad I got to go home. Especially to see my dog.

However, I did find that it was a little weird.. because as much as I miss everybody, my silly little dorm room is growing on me, and the indepence I have here is wonderful. My mindset has been changing a little bit, and while I'm happy for it, it also makes me a little sad because I realize that things ARE changing, and whether I like it or not, I'm growing up. The people I know are growing up, changing, moving on.

I think I've expressed it before, but I'm not a big fan of change. At all. But I'm slowly getting used to it. And like I said, that's good, but also sad. That's just the way it is, though.

And now, I think it's time this little cowpoke went to bed. Which reminds me, though, does anybody remember the show "Hey Dude"? Damn, talk about good times... okay, random insertion, sorry bout that. G'night, ladies and gents.
