You remind me of the babe...
It took me forever to find it, but I've finally seen Labyrinth, and I've come here to tell you all that it's one of the greatest movies ever created, times two. If you haven't seen it yet, then you need to. Quickly. Your life depends on it.
David Bowie was awesome, heh. He wrote and sang a few of the songs in the movie. Seeing him sing and dance with puppets is probably one of the greatest moments of my life right now. I had no idea how many movies he's actually been in, though. That was quite a pleasant surprise.
Also, Jennifer Connelly is one of my favorite actors right now, and she was fourteen when she did that part. Fourteen! I for one think that she is incredibly talented and incredibly beautiful. House of Sand and Fog is amazing - I think that might be her latest movie.
Labyrinth is fun and it's cute and unbelievably creative. It's one of those movies that, if you like any sort of fantasy at all, you need to see it. If you're a fan of Jim Hensen, you need to see it. Hell, George Lucas produced it. A lot of talent went into this movie, and it shows. It's just amazing. Another one of my official favorites.
In other news, my bruise is almost gone now. I've still got a nice cut from the table, and parts of it still hurt a little when I press down, but the color is almost gone. I will never forget this bruise - it's a classic.
Speaking of classics, I bought myself a "Goonies Never Say Die" t-shirt, as well as some interesting stickers. One of them is a picture of a cow that says, "Don't tip me over you freaking hillbilly." I laughed myself silly when I saw that. Some things are just too funny to pass up.
I plan on renting Mad Max next, seeing as freaking Blockbuster actually has it. Had I not been so hellbent on Labyrinth, I would have gotten it then. Anywho, it should be awesome. The Road Warrior is a cult classic and another official favorite, so it should be awesome.
Time for some slightly interesting but completely useless semi-facts and/or stuff I just made up!! Napoleon and his ugly French army might have stood a chance in invading Russia had their coats not had tin buttons. Because they were only tin, they quickly broke in the cold weather and the armies froze.
