Mac and Cheese

Mmm, good dinner.

They're showing Pirates of the Caribbean over at the Student Life Building, and I am SO going. Who would pass up a night of free Johnny Depp? Certainly not I! But it's also playing Friday, along with some groovy band, and I'll definitely be there for that. Should be a blast. I just need to find somebody to go with.

One of my goals for the summer is to find a job. A good one, at least one in a book or video store, somewhere like that where I can enjoy myself to some extent. I have high hopes, I suppose, but I'm not going to settle for fast food. I will never work there, so help me god.

But that way I'll get some cash to save up, eventually buy the bug convertible I want, and keep on saving whatever else I've got for tickets to see my dearest friend Meg up in New York. That, and I desperately want to see The Lion King on broadway.

Apparently, my family is talking about going on a real vacation this summer, as well. Like, to London. I would love that. I love London, and I love the people in it. Some good times right there. But if we don't go overseas, then there's been talk of New Orleans. I was born there, and I don't remember any of it at all. To go and see it would mean a lot to me; that, and I wouldn't mind partaking in that delicious creole food... mmm, pass the jambalaya!

Either way, it looks to be a very rewarding summer, one way or the other.

Does it strike any one else as weird that I'm already planning for summer when Christmas isn't even here yet?

Riiiight...
