Feeling strange, far from human.
The song from the other day is actually all over the place. They play it in movies, commercials, and it's been done by so many different artists it's not even funny. I have no idea who did it originally, but I've definitely been listening to it a lot lately.
Let's just say there's been some trouble on the homefront.
Last night, me and the siblings spontaneously decided to go see Spider-Man 2, since it came out yesterday. I'd heard a lot of good things about it, and truth be told, I wasn't really disappointed. It was much better than the first in every way I can think of, although there are a few moments where I felt like, "...Uh.." But that's all right. It was entertaining, and that's really what matters. There's a thread about it over in the Music and Movies forum, so go check it out.
I burnt myself today on an angry, hot pan. I made myself an egg sandwich earlier and then I let the pan sit for a minute to cool before I washed it. The handle on it always heats up really fast, so I figured that by the time I came back to it, it would be cool enough to pick up.
Yeah, I was wrong.
Oh well. At least I'm getting a lot better in the kitchen. I've made dinner three times in the past five days, and nobody has died yet. Things are looking up.
(Note: When I say "make dinner", I mean that I read the directions off of a Hamburger Helper box.)
Tony's Torment RPG looks fantastic. If you haven't yet seen it, you really should do yourself a favor and go over to the Adventure Arena and check it out. I'd say it's been getting some pretty good attention, but it needs more. More, I say!
Okay, I have this song called "Techno" and I don't remember how or why I got it, but it's so freaking cool. I don't know who it's by, but it's all voice - no instruments whatsoever, and it's so funny. If I knew anything about linking music to the internet, I'd try to do that. But I don't. So, yeah.
I'm gonna go get a Vanilla Coke. Yum. |
