Inexplicable Catness
The Fourth Of July has come and gone and we still haven't set off our own fireworks. It's been raining every night; usually just a light rain, but it's enough to prevent the pyro goodness, damn it. Maybe tonight, but as I look outside, I seriously doubt it. Oh, Florida weather. You kidder, you.

I finished a book the other night entitled Sabriel, and although it was a slow start, I'm glad I stuck with it because it got a lot better. It made me smile, and that's plenty enough for me. The title character did, however, remind me tons of Ms. Dagger, who seems to of died. Let us have a moment of silence for Dagger, and hope that she'll come back to us soon, wherever she may be.

I have a lot of other books to read, but at least one is checked off the list. It doesn't help that my parents keep adding to the list. At this rate I'll never finish it..... which is probably their entire plan. Hm..

Yesterday I went to the beach with my sister Jen and my darling friend Babs. We drove over to Cocoa and pretty much played in the water all day. It didn't even rain, which was something you sort of come to expect in the summer in Florida. I'm not complaining, though. ^_~

The water was absolutely gorgeous. It was cool and there was hardly any rip current at all. The sand, however, was hotter than hell and we had to run to the water or our blanket. It was insane. Eventually there was enough cloud cover that it did cool down and we could play some mad frisbee, but then the wind started acting up and then the game just got silly.

We had a lot of fun, though, and thankfully I'm not burnt. Just a little pink on the shoulders and my cheeks, which I guess you can pretty much count on every single time, heh. My hair still feels gross, but at least I'm nice and tan and beautiful. ^_^

So, onward. "Kill Adam Vol. 2." There have been quite a few impressive sign-ups over there so far, and I can see how it might discourage people from signing up. Well, sign up anyway! You never know - your ideas might just be the ones needed, so it's at least worth a shot.

Also, go check out Shy's "hero" if you haven't already. That looks like it's going to be a blast - who doesn't want to be a super hero?

Speaking of. I need to finish a few posts of my own. I haven't had the chance to be on a whole lot the last couple days, so it's time to catch up.

Right after I get something to eat. >_>
