I'm so guilty of slacking in every aspect of my life right now. It's both humorous and incredibly frustrating and it's made a little worse by the fact that I still don't really care about anything.

Well, that's not true. I do care. But apparently not enough to get it in gear. I don't understand what's wrong with me this semester, but I hope that whatever's going on in my head gets cleared up over winter break so I can get that fresh start that spring is supposed to be about.

Stupid finals.

I went to Borders today with some friends and I bought an iced coffee and it was good. I also bought three little Lindor truffles: two dark chocolate with mint filling and one milk chocolate with the creamy chocolate filling. I intend to eat at least one of them some time tonight, and it will be delicious.

I also spotted my sister for a Christmas CD that she really wanted, as well as this Tarot book that I was looking at for a while. Funny story there, too. I was sitting in that aisle, reading through all the funny divination books, and this guy comes up to me and holds out this book, something like The Satanist Nurses, and says, "Here, you should be pretty interested in that," with this stupid, smug little grin, thinking he's a bad ass now. I just stared at him, and after a second, I replied, "No, no I would not." And then I took a sip of my coffee. He laughed, and mumbled something, and wandered off. The schmuck.

That kind of ignorance is silly. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and believe that he was just joking around, but for anyone to honestly believe that any and all people who play around with palm reading or runes or tarot cards (or what have you) are automatically devil worshippers .... well, you're just fucking stupid. I bite my thumb at you.

Anyway. So I bought that book and since I spent over $30, I got a big discount on this cuddly bear, so I bought him too. He has glasses. That makes him an intellectual bear.

I have an Italian final tomorrow that I've not yet studied enough for. It's at 3:00, so I'm planning to wake up and study for a couple hours, but I should really do some more tonight. I'd much rather play with my new book and continue working on my first scarf. But alas.

Blaaaaaargh. What a mess. I'm such a mess. Somebody clean me up.
