There and back again.
Current Mood: Exhausted
Listening To: Nothing
Time: 10:58 PM Eastern
Today was the worst day for a long drive. The traffic wasn't horrible, but it was definitely a little slow in patches, and weather-wise, it was nice enough, even though I don't recommend driving after sunset to anyone (especially after you've been in the car for a few hours). But god almighty, the trip back to Tallahassee today was the slowest, longest one yet - it was just awful. Part of that was because I just wasn't in the mood to be in a car for four and a half hours. I also spent the first two hours trying to doze off so I wouldn't feel so carsick. It was also crowded in that car. There were three of us, which isn't bad at all, except that the trunk was full and the back seat was half way there. The guy who sat behind me was tall, too, so my seat was pushed up and I couldn't really stretch out. Which sucked a lot of ass. I should have sat in the back and given the front seat to him. I'm little, I can handle it.
We eventually made it, though, so praise Allah for that. Although there's no way in hell I'm unpacking tonight. Screw that. I'm going to bed. Got math in the morning, after all. (*grumble, grumble*)
Spring Break, however, was quite lovely. I had a wonderful week, and I did eventually make it to the beach. It was a blast, even after many close encounters on the road there. I'm telling you, you can't trust a Semi. We'll just leave it at that.
I also went with my friend to the tattoo place and morallly supported her while she got one done. Actually, it really didn't hurt her at all, apparently - a couple spots hurt, she said, but overall it wasn't anything really bad. She got a dragon on her ankle and it looks pretty cool, if I do say so myself. The guy doing it was also really cool. We had some fun conversations about movies and Europe - not something you'd exactly expect from that kind of establishment, but it just goes to show you that you can't judge a book by its cover. Or some crap like that.
My ear is also much better, for those who wanted to know. Which I'm glad for, because it really is starting to grow on me. Still can't sleep on it, though.
Since I'm still tres fatigue, I'm going to bed now. Hopefully I'll be able to play catch-up in the following days and get back into things.
How can the world want me to change?
They're the ones that stay the same. |
