Epiphany!

Current Mood: Day-dreaming Listening To: Nature Boy - David Bowie Time: 5:22 PM (I can't believe it's almost 5:30 already. o_O Where the hell did the day go?) Getting up for math in the morning just isn't fun at all, but I do it. I pull myself out of bed and I go forth to yonder classroom and work equations. I want an award now. Somebody praise me. Give me ice cream. Actually, we've desperately got to go grocery shopping tonight, as I'm sure the rest of Tallahassee does. But I'll be damned if I don't get my pretzels. I have a mad craving for them, like a pregnant woman on crack. I can almost taste them, and it's horrible. My brain is slowly but surely melting into a puddle of goo. I got a lot done today, although most of it actually had nothing to do with my classes at all. I did get to the boards, and I did some mod stuff over there. The Adventure Arena is really cleaning itself up well - there's still the occasional new guy to talk to, but for the most part, everybody finally gets it. I'm happy with the quality turning out, but of course, there's always more room for improvement. So move! *whip crack* ...eheh heh, just joshin' ya'll. I did my housing stuff for next year, too. I don't exactly adore my dorm, but I figure next year I have a better chance of getting a good, clean room in a nice dorm. And right now, it's easier to stay on campus then get an apartment off campus. That, and I don't have a job. An apartment pretty much entitles me getting a job, and while I plan to get one this summer, that's money that I'll be saving for car insurance and gas and other useful things. And if things go the way I want them to, I'll be overseas junior year. Of course, that's still a ways off. We'll just have to wait and find out. There's some sort of crazy tea party that I have to go shopping for Friday and Saturday. Yeah, it's a two day tea party. I don't know, I don't really know what's going on, but it enables me to go shopping for some nice clothes, so I'm okay with it. Just going with the flow. Keeping it real. Yup. Okay, as weird as it sounds, I actually missed my astrology class over break. Not at first, but the last couple days, I was thinking about it. In general, Tuesdays and Thursdays are my favorite days. I get to sleep in, I like both my classes (Astro and US History), and they just generally feel easier than the rest of the week. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays I'm done before noon, which is nice, but getting up for them isn't so great. And math kind of ruins everything. Everything! I've been adding a dramatic flair to everything I've said all day. It's been sort of fun, and it's been keeping me sane, what with these weird cravings and the headache that won't quite go away. That, and I've got some wonderfully funky music to keep me company. It's starting to lean towards the soft, instrumental, story type of melodies... but hey, I'm not complaining. Beck does this version of Bowie's Diamond Dogs that I really like. I should buy one of Beck's CDs.. I've always sort of liked him, but I've also always been too lazy to do anything about it. Anybody have any suggestions? Anybody? Anybody? Bueller? All right, 10 points if you know what this is from and you're NOT Tony: If there's a prize for rotten judgement, I guess I've already won that. No man is worth the aggravation - that's ancient history, been there, done that.
