   Well well well.
So far I've just used this thing for meaningless frivalties, such as my own personal layer of hell and all that good stuff, but I'd like to speak to you ladies and gentlemen about the member rating system at the Otaku boards.

As some of you may know, I'm a newbie. I've been here for about a week, and although I knew I was rated as a newbie, I had no idea how that changed, when it would, how long it would take me to get there, etc. I understand it a little better now, but the part that really gets me is where I get looked down on because of one little word on my profile. Especially considering the quality of what I post compared to others who are "Otakus." In one of the threads I was looking at, somebody mentioned something like, "Besides Guy, Girl, and Guy, the rest of the people here are newbies. Just thought you should know." Okay, the punctuation has been fixed so you can actually read it now. But jesus, I looked at some of the stuff this person has written and I was shocked that she had the nerve to say that, as if people like me are inferior to her mad rp skillz.

Quality is better than quantity, people. I guess that's my point.

I hope I didn't come of as condescending here, but I need to complain. I might be doing that often if this keeps up. Hopefully... I won't have to.
