   Right.
One of these days, I'm going to understand why people feel the need to ridicule others. Right now, I don't have the slightest idea. I mean, I love psychology, and I can read between the lines. But I still don't understand why. Are we, as humans, so screwed up that we have to come up with our own silly defenses to accept things?

The idea that I or any other person won't ever be able to truly accept fate for what it is and the cards it deals us is just a bit depressing. I'd like to think there we are inherently good, and that we can learn to be graceful about our faults and accept when we are wrong. There's something to be learned from these experiences, so why try to cover them?

Alas, poor Yoric, what fools we mortals be.
