Don't fake the funk on a nasty dunk.
So I did a heck of a lot of cleaning today. Absolutely disgusting. Well, it was technically yesterday, seeing as it's now almost one o'clock in the morning, but hey. Seriously, though, my sister and I cleaned out our closet, went through it all and threw out tons of stuff, filled one of those big donation bags full of clothes for some weird clothing drive, and managed to fit all our shoes (actually, most of them were mine - I admit it! I have a shoe fetish!) back in very neatly on these white storage things.

However, there will be no breaking out of the champaigne yet - we still have to go through the drawers in the dresser, which will take another good part of a day. And then we need to seperate the winter clothes from the summer clothes because there is no such thing as a long sleeved t-shirt in the summer in Florida. Period. We'll probably end up tossing all our sweaters and stuff into some plastic organizer things and then stack them in our closet. Nice and neat and organized. Hopefully.

It also looks like we might be getting some new furniture out of this, too. My bed has been broken for a good year now - my French books are the only things holding it up right now. (See, France is good for something!) If it all works out to plan, I'll get one of those higher beds with all the storage space underneath - drawers, shelves, and whatnot. That'll be quite handy in our room.

So that's the plan for now. Apparently they were also hoping to redo our bathroom before my sister's graduation, but that's in a week (give or take). I don't really see that happening. o_O;;

Still haven't gotten a job, but it's not like I haven't been working. Stupid job. Not having a car really makes that sort of hard to do.

The weather has also been pretty nice, but going outside right now sucks because next door to my house they're clearing out the land to build a new neighborhood. Burning trees=smoke and ash up the wazoo, and we get it all. You should see our pool. It's messed up. It's also sad in that I have so many memories of the farm that used to be there, and the cows that used to feed in that field. We got to pet them, and a couple times as a small child I even climbed the fence to join them (much to my parents' horror). And now it's all being replaced. Fine, you jerks! Destroy my childhood!

Le sigh.

The good news out of all this is that I saved a bunch of money on my car insurance.

...Er, wait.

I've been able to get on OB a lot more lately, and I find that I have missed it over the course of my busy, sporadic life. Especially the RPGs, and talking to certain, silly people. Hopefully things will pick up a little more as more and more people finish with school and all that. I can sort of feel the kindlings of some new RPG ideas, as well, though I'm hesitant to really apply myself to anything before I see where Laeth E'Thae is really going. Right when I think that, "Okay, that's probably it," somebody posts again. Not that I mind - quite the contrary! I'm pleased to see that most everyone is putting in the effort to keep it going, even if only a few inches at a time. You guys rock, and I really mean that. ^_^

My parting words for now: Don't do crack before bed. Thank you.
