I'll rock, paper, scissors you...
... for your soul!!

So my birthday turned out okay. I went and saw Kill Bill Vol. 2, which was excellent. I'll have to see it a couple more times before I can fully grasp its awesomeness, but rest assured, it rocked as it was. That's about all I did on the fourteenth, besides helping out with my brother's eighth grade dance stuff. I'm such a wonderful sister.

Today was when we actually celebrated my birthday. We went to Brios for dinner, which is a very nice Tuscan Italian restaurant. Delicious! Then I opened up a few presents, which included Absolution by Muse, the Requiem For A Dream DVD (a very powerful movie - I highly suggest it, if you aren't too squeamish), The Last Samurai (I don't think I need to explain this one), and You've Got Mail (because I'm a closet romantic and it's a remake of one of my favorite Jimmy Stewart movies). I also got a new jewelry box and a box of key lime truffles (though not in the same box). I'm pretty happy with what I got, even if it was a couple days late.

Apparently people are coming tomorrow to tear apart our bathroom so we have to take everything out of it tonight. I'm not exactly looking forward to it, but then again, I don't really have a choice in the matter. In the end, though, it'll be worth it because I'll have a pretty bathroom. Yay!

It'll probably stay clean for a week, tops.

Like my room. ¬_¬;;
