this is something I wrote.......tell me what you think and please do not copy it......
One life to live
As I sit here in the dark
cold cellar of life,
I notice other creatures lurking in the shadows.
As they crawl, lurch, and scamper towards me, I feel as if I'm trapped in some type of dream instead of reality.
It feels as if, suddenly something is biting me on the foot to wake me.
As I sit here and watch these creatures, something tells me...
There's only one life to live....
That's all I have is
One life to live
I should take some chances and get out of this old cellar.
Make something out of myself.
A tear rolls down my face as I look into a small puddle of dirty water.
I mutter quietly: "I shouldn't falter or be afraid!!"
I know there is a better life out there just waiting for me to find it!
But what should I do? Should I get out this cellar and go search for it?
Or should I just sit here and rot?
there is one life to live
and its slipping away!!!!!
No, I will miss the familiarity of this old, musty cellar called reality.............
I think I will stay..........
for now.......
