Hear them Cry

Hush...Listen..
Do you hear them cry?
The wolves, my family
So misunderstood
So wise..
They cry in the night
Such a cry that touches my Spirit
Yet silent during the light
Their families they protect
and hunt in the night

I hear their cries and feel their pain
Many work to save them
Tears in my eyes
No, our efforts are not in vain

Their beauty...their Spirit surpasses that
understanding that some cannot comprehend, they need our help,our brothers and sisters
so there will be no end

Hear them cry?
They share their wisdom from so many lives
They are part of nature
blending in, until someone decides
they have to die

See their majestic beauty
as they run swiftly through the forests
The wind barely touching them
All things are in danger
Man needs to stop destroying nature
and her creatures
Together not apart is the only answer

I pray to my Creator and Mother Earth
to protect them and give me just a small part of their wisdom
To share with this world the meaning of true beauty
Hear them cry..
Hear me cry...
For the Wolves..
