MAHR, you can't fight the law, you can't argue with the constitution
As said earlier, MAHR (Mothers Against Hard Rock)is banning Hard Rock from 45 states. I signed the petition and this is what I had to say:
89. Armmina Liberte Hans Maclang, Philippines. Okay, hmm... I'm the type of person who listens to anything good. Although Hard Rock isn't on top of my favorites, It's not really bad. To the mothers, of course they scream a lot, most songs express their anger...anyway, why in the world am I signing this thing??? Sure they're banning hard rock from 45 states but they can't ban the thing from the 7000 islands of the Philippines!! Okay, I'm showing support...right, support. Ahem. I could understand if the mothers here are rich and classy people or something bad happened to your kids because of hard rock but remember, it was they're choice to do the stuff they see on TV. You can't ask the other smart ones to stop listening. Let the teens choose by themselves. You can't follow your kids forever and change the path before they step on the road. You won't be there forever and let them make the choice. You won't be there forever and let them learn from they're own mistakes. Sure you may ask what I'm signing here for even though I'm more of a classical music type girl or hip-hop or a girl who listens to sentimental music. I'm signing here not for me (duh) but for the rights of every human.
In the CONSTITUTION of every country, It CLEARLY STATES that there are such HUMAN RIGHTS as the NATURAL rights. There is the RIGHT TO LIVE and so on and so forth. In the constitution, it also states that people have the FREEDOM OF SPEECH. If people have the freedom of speech, LIKEWISE, EVERYONE WILL HAVE THE RIGHT TO LISTEN to whatever they want to. This may not be written down but ISN'T THAT COMMON SENSE? Moreover, these kids and teens have the right to say whatever they think of your idea of benning Hard Rock. As that may seem to be true, people also have the RIGHT TO SEE. Of course, we have the right to live, we have the five senses. We have the rights to use these senses because of the RIGHT TO FREEDOM. We have the right to SEE WHAT WE WANT, TASTE WHAT WE WANT (except for illegal food and drugs - that's just wrong) HEAR WHAT WE WANT, and so on. WE also have the FREEDOM TO MAKE OUR OWN CHOICES most especially with the things we want to do with ourselves and what dreams we want to fulfill.
Madams of the Mothers Against Hard Rock, I do believe that you have just been EDUCATED by a TWELVE-YEAR-OLD LAWYER WANNABE FROM THE PHILIPPINES because, you CAN'T FIGHT THE LAW, and you CAN'T ARGUE WITH THE CONSTITUTION.
*I'd probably go for law after this...*
