Summer's Only Hope
This is a story I created called 'Summer's Only Hope'. It takes place in a small town called Tonopah (he he... My hometown!) and the main character is a young girl named Erika. Okay, I've only got one chapter so far… so I'll write it here!! It's a FFXII fanfiction placed in our world.

Chapter 1

Some time ago, a young girl named Erika was busy helping her older sister, Hina, out in the garden. Erika loved the summertime because she loved going swimming. But, something was wrong. It was June, but it was so cold out!
Erika looked at Hina, who was busy with her garden and she didn't realize that it was getting a bit too cold for her liking. So she went inside and changed into some warmer clothes.
"Isn't it getting a bit too cold out here, Hina?" Erika asked. Hina looked over.
"Of course not. Now go change into something…" Before Hina could continue saying what she wanted to say, Erika screamed. There was something coming!
Erika dove underneath the toolbox and grabbed the pitchfork, scared for her life. Just then, she recognized the people who were coming.
(Video Game characters? Sure, I see Vaan… but…) Erika crawled out from under the toolbox and stood up, dusting her clothes off. Hina looked even more frightened than Erika. She took off, screaming, while Erika just laughed at her older sister, shaking her head. She put the pitchfork away and continued to laugh. She walked over to Vaan and whapped him on the back.
"That's what she gets!!" Erika said, laughing. Her face was red from laughing so much and she shook her head again. Finally, she calmed down and took in a deep breath. "That was FUNNY!!" She shouted, whacking Vaan on the back again.
"Oww." Vaan said, rubbing where Erika had whacked him. "Man, you're strong."
Erika laughed again. "I'd take a guess and say it was because I wrestle with wolves all the time. And coyotes. They tried breaking into the house yesterday!!" She said, smiling. "Great job, Vaan. She won't come back for a while!"
