Days Go By...
I've just had two days off, yay! In those two days, I've been very, very busy.

First, I'm in the process of moving from my old room, to my new room. There is so much more space, I could probably fit my old room and my double bed in my new room.



My Old Room It's really not that big. I don't think you could even fit a double bed in there, and it was really hot in the mornings.



My New Room Note the double bed. ^_^ It doesn't look so big from where I took it, but the room is huge. It has cupboards and a chest of draws and a bookshelf. I'm so happy. [And yes, that is Christmas paper in the clear bag.]

Because of the moving rooms, I've been looking for a new quilt cover and set. I have an idea in my mind, but I can't find anything like it. What I want is a rich, dark chocolate-y brown, with a metallic copper panel down the bottom [Or not! Even just a panel that isn't, like, khaki green!] and some nice pillows. I almost found the perfect thing, but -- unfortunately for me -- they didn't have the cover in Queen size, only single and double. I could have cried. The perfect cover, on special, and it wasn't in my size. Why does this always happen to me?

[I'm getting my hair cut on Saturday. I guess I'll get you guys some before/after shots, or something. ^_^"]

Random Story Things
Yeah. Wrote it a couple of days ago. It's not really anything too special, heh. Mainly written out of boredom.

So music ‘speaks’ to you, does it? You listen to the singers croon out their shallow lyrics about how they have such a hard life and how no one understands them and how they’re all alone. And you think, Good God, that could be me. I’m trapped in my upper/middle/lower class prison and no one ‘gets’ me.

So you whine about your family and everything they’ve done for you, believing whole-heartedly that they’re only trying to bring you down. And you talk about how your Step-parents hate you and your brother’s a bastard and how nothing ever goes right.

But this is a bitch-bitch-bitch world and everyone’s heard it before and no one cares. They want you to shut up and sit down because they’ve known at least ten people with exactly the same story, and after the third they lost interest and after the fifth they lost compassion and now you’re the eleventh and you’ve lost them.

They don’t care because they’ve got their own problems and you don’t care about theirs. Love is a give and take thing and you keep taking but you can’t give and so they leave before you even realize they’ve gone.

And you meet another person just like them, and now when they start to talk you stop listening.

So keep your pain to yourself and stop your whining. The world doesn’t care and besides – it’s always more painful when no one listens, right?

Exhausted Sigh
Okay, I'm here. Probably not for long because I start work in an hour and a half so I need to get ready.

I am so sick of work it is killing me. I've done something like 25 hours this week -- I worked for 9 hours on Friday -- and next week I'm working all but one day. So I'm just going to get through today and next week. Because after that, I took nine days off so that I'd actually get a holiday these holidays. ^_^ And when I do, I'm going to go crazy and dye my hair red and finally put the henna tattoo on and go barefoot and not get anyone anything and so on and so forth until the 19th, when I'll have to go back to work [*sigh*].

But yeah, work has been less than fun. I got told to wiegh out chicken, and they wanted me to do 25 small containers of chicken. I've never done it before and so I was a bit slow. Then my manager got angry at me because I apparently should have had them done in 5 minutes. Now, excuse me if I'm wrong, but that means 5 containers a minute, which is one per 12 seconds. This was my first time weighting and...*sigh* I just thought it was a little bit overexpectant. Oh well, I'll do it faster next time, I guess.

My brother's gone camping with his girlfriend and her parents, for a week. They've gone to Stradbroke Island, I think.

I hope everyone had a good New Years Eve. I actually didn't make it until 12 o'clock. I'd done my 9 hour work day that day and I was buggered. I did manage to stay up to see the New South Wales New Year in ['cause they're an hour ahead], and then I decided to go to sleep. I felt like such a loser, but all of my friends were at Zoe's, which is an hour and a half away. Still, when I woke up the next morning, I felt very cheerful and such. ^_^ This has been a really good Christmas season for me.

Just quickly, too, can anyone recommend a webhost? I'm looking for one at the moment, but I'm not sure yet.

Hours!
So, I got more hours this week. I started off with 15.25, but one of the girls got hours that she asked for off, so I swapped with her, and landed an extra 3.25 hours.

Then I went to work today and Sal, another girl, couldn't work tomorrow, so I took her shift too, which brought it up to 21.25 hours.

And then since today [Monday] and Tuesday are Public Holidays [despite what Alan thinks XD], I get Double Time and a Half -- which, by the way, are the most arousing words for a workin' gal like me [Haha!] -- and that means that I'm getting something like 21 dollars an hours.

And all up, it means that this week, I'm going to bag 250 dollars for work. *sings happily* Oh what a beautiful moooorning, everything's going my way!


Apart form that, I want to do two things with my hair; one, to dye it Red -- although not permanantly --, and before I got back to school. Two, to get it styled somehow so it isn't so blah..


Ben told me earlier about a party for New Years Eve. I was really excited, but then I found out it was at Zoe's. Unfortunately, Zoe lives way out of town -- like, an hour and a half away -- and I have to work the next day, so it's completely out of the picture. *sigh* Probably would have been fun, too.

And, ooh! I have an idea in my head for a story thing, but...I'm not sure whether or not to write it. It'd probably be a stream of conciousness sort of thing, and I just..it gets so hard to write stuff, and I get tired and I have no motivation. I know someone will come and tell me I need to be *self-disciplined* and stuff, but I find it really hard nowadays to show people my work, you know? I just..Eh. Yeah.

We Wish You A Merry...Well, You Know How It Goes
Christmas! A time of giving, of recieving, of consumer hype and economic booms! It's like, a passing on of tradition and it is just so much fun that I can't get over it, heh.

In other words, it's 9:43 am, I've finished unwrapping the presents, I had a special Christmas Bacon-and-Egg muffin, and I'm feeling grand.

Slept terribly last night. Absolutely terribly. It's really fun to know that even thought Christmas and all its magic is starting to wear off, I still can't sleep because I'm so excited. Makes me feel like a kid again. I think kids must have this built in alarm clock for Christmas day, because even thought I didn't feel excited, I still woke up at 5. And I couldn't get back to sleep properly, either.

Mm. So, I woke up and I got presents and stuff. I hate listing presents, though, because I always forget something and then I feel really bad about it. So the presents I got were very cool, and I'm very happy with them.

And, mum loved her spa thing, which is good. ^_^ She's really happy, yay!

Went to work today. Not bad, but we had to do some stacking of supplies and drinks and stuff in this really hot room. Serves them right if the Coke explodes. Ha.

Anyway, in the process of stacking the drinks and stuff, I must've done something to my knee, because it's been really hurting since, which isn't cool. It feels almost as if the nerve has been pinched, so I dunno what's going on there...maybe it'll be better in the morning.

After work we went to Grand Central for last minute Christmas shopping...*whistles* Busy, busy, busy. I got my brother a hammock, of all things, but hopefully he'll like it. ^_^ I made sure it was blue and blue and white [two different shades of blue.] instead of the purple and red one. As for Mum, I'm still not yet organised. I'm going to call the spa place when she's at work tomorrow, heh. I did drop by Australian Geographic, but, unfortunately, Liam wasn't there.

I have had the best discovery! Mum [for some reason] decided to get Austar [our cable network] upgraded to Digital. And there's a kid's channel on there called Boomerang, and it has the best show on earth on it everynight at 7.00pm my time; Jem. [Okay, ignore the crappy site. Focus on the cartoon, hehe.] It's this really great cartoon from, like, the 80's or something. I own one of the movies and watched it over and over again as a kid. And now, if I get the Boomerang channel, I can watch it every night! I'm not sure whether or not you guys have ever seen Jem, but it's fantastic, if just for nostalgia. I wanted to be Jem when I was young. Alas, my father didn't leave me an orphan with a machine named Synergie who could project holograms and make me a popstar...maybe in my next life. XD

Le Sigh..
Went for my learner's again today. Failed again today... I did pass the first part, but unfortunately there were four questions on the second part I didn't get. So, again, I got 25/30 and I failed. One as a question on center parking, and I didn't even know what that was, so I failed that. Another one was almost a trick question; it had a round about sign with the "Give Way" border, and two of the options were "roundabout ahead" and "Give way to vehicles on the roundabout."..and it was the latter, so unfortunately I didn't get that one either. There were a couple of others, but I can't really remember them. Ah well, next time.

However, while I was doing my test, a guy form school came and he had to do the test to, which was cool, heh. He's like, "Hey" and then sat down next to me and all of a sudden it felt like a school exam rather than one for something as scary as my Learner's. I don't know how he did. Hope he passed, at least, lol. I was telling Mum what I'd done wrong, and I heard him laughing at me, at least. XD

I'm working tomorrow between 11 and 3, so that should be fun...I'm also working Christmas Eve at around lunch time. And on Boxing Day, too. But all up it's only 8 hours, which sucks so much. That's like, 65 dollars or something piddly like that. I'm still not sure whether or not I get paid overtime for Christmas and Boxing Day holidays. Fingers crossed!

Hopefully my hours will pick up next week. I really really want them to, because I want more money. I keep spending it, it's going through my fingers like sand and that's really bad, heh. And there's things I really want to buy [apart from hosting.]. For instance; I'm currently saving for Mum's 60th birthday [She's only 54 for, so I started early. XD]...we want to send her to Munich. She lived there for 3 or 4 years and she loved it, so it'll be cool if we could do that, and since my sister has the whole "Quality of Life" thing to worry about and my brother doesn't get any money [Well, he's just started work, so that should change soon.] I'm the main one contributing. I'm putting in 45 dollars a month, which is good, but it gets annoying when I'm trying to keep myself above a certain level in my bank account. As well as that, I really want to get Mum a massage thingy for a Christmas present but...it's $75. I'm splitting it with my brother, but I already owe him twelve, so it's mainly me. One of my friends owe me $25, but they haven't given it to me yet, [which shits me, lol.] and I'm not getting enough hours for work, which is not cool. Then, if I want to go on schoolies, I'll need to save for that, too. And those leaner's exams aren't cheap...but I've decided that I'll try to get my learner's as close to the 16th of January as possible, so I'll be elligible to get my Ps as close to July 16th as possible -- to commemorate the Harry Potter book coming out. XD

But yeah, much with the spending. I guess I'll just have to tighten the reins a bit, hehe.

I'm speaking to Mnemolth for the first time in ages! I don't know where he's been, but I haven't seen him, heh. Also talking to Alan, but that's a regular event. XP

And I posted in SYF, for those fans...*looks pointedly at Mimmi* XP. [Hey Mimmi; I saw your analyses of SYF -- Liam showed it to me. Whoa, you know more about it than I do, I swear! XD]

Oooh, and now I'm going to mention Shinmaru, who supports my Crusade against Customization, just because he decided he loves me for it. :P
