back to school...break's over...*sniff*
Well, break's over, but, in all honesty, I am glad to be back home. It was odd living out of a suitcase at my own house...and sleeping on the couch in the living room...all around, just weird. Great Wolf Lodge was super cool, and I had fun w/ my friends while I was home, but it's nice to be settled in again.
Two recent bits of news followed by mixed emotions for each:
1. Found out last night that the guy I like doesn't like me back (however, I wasn't the one who talked to him about it, so I saved face.) I'd just been thinking that he probably isn't the best thing for me, so knowing that he doesn't like me is a really good excuse to make myself move on. However, I can't help the fact that I still like him, so we're in the "forcing self to get over him" phase. *shrugs* Shouldn't be too bad. (Not nearly as bad as getting over a break up!)
2. I'm not in the musical. Good b/c I'll keep having free time. Bad b/c I wanted to be in it. Also, looking back, I feel I did very well at the auditions and that I deserved a role. There are a couple of girls who made who I know cannot sing very well. However, that was someone else's decision, not mine. The important thing is that I did my best. We'll get through this. ^_~

   AAAGGGGHHHH!!!!
Lots of high energy/emotion posts lately. ^_^ We'll keep this short and sweet (like me!) ^_~

Baby's name: Micheal Anthony Johnson
Weight: 7 lbs. 7 oz.
Length: 19 1/4 inches
Time of Birth: 11:47 a.m. October 12th

So...yes...we have another boy! That makes 7 IN A ROW!!!! I really don't want to be at college right now. I WANT TO BE AT HOME!!!! *sniff*

But...here's the reason I can't go home this weekend:

Opening night is TONIGHT, and the friggin' set still isn't done!!!! It's ridiculous! *shakes head*

Anyway, that's pretty much my life right now. Still no word on the cast for "Once Upon a Mattress". Chuck (our director) has been a little too busy to meet w/ the vocal and dance teachers to discuss a cast for a spring musical. *shakes head* Somehow, I feel like I made it, but obviously, they haven't decided yet. However, I don't want to let myself think that. I don't want to get depressed when I find out that I didn't make it. *shrugs* whatever

   Crazy weekend
We went to the KC Ren. Fest. this weekend, and I've fallen in love with the Jolly Rogers!!! ^_^

That's Kurt Hanover. He's one of the Jolly Rogers, a comedic group of pirate musicians. ^_~ Stacey and I split the cost of one of their CDs which I'm listening to as I type! It's lots of fun. I highly suggest them to anyone who loves pirates or folk music.


BIG NEWS!!!!
My mom is being induced tomorrow, so please, everyone, pray for her and the baby! I'm getting really anxious about it. I know, I should be a pro about this by now, but I'm still freakin' out a bit. The more prayers the better. Thanks guys!

*whew*

Let's see...what else is going on...Production week!! *freaks out* yeah...it's gonna be a crazy week, too. *shakes head* I still don't know whether or not I made the musical, but I should find out at rehearsal tonight. *sighs*

I need to go do laundry...I put it off for over two weeks...I know...it's ridiculous, but I have three loads waiting to go in the dryers, so I'll catch up w/ you ppl later. ^_~

   thanks guys!
Well, the first round of auditions is over, but, unfortunately, it wasn't set up the way I thought it would be. I thought we'd actually get called back for call backs. No. Everyone just shows up again for a second day of auditions. Yesterday was singing and dancing. Today, we have script reading. Shouldn't be too bad. Most of the ppl who auditioned are just choir ppl. I feel like I have an advantage. ^_^ But, I have to keep telling myself that I don't have a chance so that I won't be upset when I don't make it. (and then, if I do, I'll be really happy!!) ^_^ Actually, I'm half-way hoping I don't get in b/c it's gonna be time consuming. Oh well. I have to go now. Thanks for the "good luck"s and "break a leg"s ^_^ I really don't care how you say it. I appreciate in it any form.

   Theatre Superstitions
You guys!!!!!! FIVE of you told me "Good luck!" and Beyblader, you said "Macbeth" *dies*

lol, I'm not really superstitious about this stuff but most thespians are. (It's really bad luck to say either of those.)

We have dress parade tonight and then dry tech, so it's an easy night! ^_^ Shouldn't be too bad.

Wow. art=super tired But I'm afraid to let myself rest b/c I'll want to sleep for several hours then.

well...I'm gonna do some homework and prepare for my Once Upon a Mattress audition (it's tomorrow!!!)
