   Macavity, Macavity, there's no one like Macavity...
You're probably wondering about the subject line, huh? I have a bunch of songs from Andrew Lloyd Weber's Cats. I'm borrowing the soundtrack from the library. ^_^ I started playing it while I was making lunch for the kids and they were all pretty confused. ^_^ Yes...I like musicals...is there a problem with that? ^_~
*sighs* I'm stuck at work again w/ a headache. I'll be here 'til at least 3:30 (2 1/2 hours left to go.) Ya know...I still don't even know how much I'm getting paid. Isn't that sad? *shakes head* It'll probably be around $6/hr which is crap when you consider the kind of responsilibity they put on me... *shakes head* Then again, I do spend a lot of time on the internet.... *grins evilly* Oh well... I'm gonna get off now, and be a good little secretary. *sticks tongue out* I might see your sites tomorrow.

   No, I'm not using the internet for my own purposes while I'm at work... *smiles sweetly*
How is everyone? I'm doin' alright...I think the pain killer must have finally kicked in! I'm at work again (9-3 today). I went to Starbucks for breakfast (right by where Molly works). It was really kind of amusing b/c I found these 3 guys sitting in the corner w/ their Bibles open discussing scripture and religion. It was kinda cool, so I sat near them and listened to their discussion. Since I'm Catholic, there's a lot of history and philosophy that I know and understand which they don't. However, there are also a lot of Bible passages they can just spit out which I can't. I didn't ever say anything b/c I was eating and I needed to get to work, but it was still pretty cool. ^_^ Two of the guys were younger and kinda cute... ok... I know... *grins*
It turns out that my bosses (Paula and Terry) aren't getting back 'til 3 (I thought they'd be back last night or this morning.) So...I have to make sure that everything's ready for Ted Turner. We don't even know when they're getting in! Check in is supposed to be b/t 3 and 6, but if they're traveling, we give them some leeway. *sighs* This is gonna be interesting... It doesn't help that I dreamt last night that I was really late for work. I was sort of panicking in my sleep which means, I didn't rest very well. (not to mention that I couldn't sleep at all for a good portion of the night...) I'm sort of caught in a vicious spiral: I've got a job which stresses and wears me out. So, I need more sleep. However, b/c I'm stressed, I can't sleep. Now, I'm sleep deprived and, therefore, more stressed out. Which means, it'll be even harder for me to get to sleep... *sighs* I don't know how to relax.... *cries* Amy!!! I need you!! *hugs Kagami* *sniff*
Oh well...I watched Singin' in the Rain again last night, and that helped. Let me reiterate: I love Gene Kelley! *sighs* I mean, there's some real talent! It's so sad they don't make movies like they used to...I mean, in those days, you had to be able to not only act, but sing and dance as well! He's a fabulous tap dancer and one awesome singer. *sighs again* I would have loved to have been in Debbie Reynolds' shoes....
Oh well...that's life. Have a fun day everyone! I'll be on here for most of today... *grins evilly*

   Hi again!
Just thought I'd let everyone know that in exactly 2 1/2 hours, I get to go home! If you can't tell...I'm still bored...and I'm still at work...and it's about 1/2 since my last text post! Oh yeah! I just made a reservation! but the lady wanted a confirmation number which I wasn't sure where to get. now i have it, but I can't get back to her b/c the 1-800 number she gave me won't give me the option to just freakin' talk to her!!! *cries* oh well.... screw her. *sticks tongue out* She wasn't even making a reservation for herself. It was for a corporte client. *rollseyes* And this chick is from 'Groton' CT. Okay, but the way she spelled it didn't sound at all like the way she said it... hmmm... and the stupid program wouldn't let me email the lady, so I have to snail mail her... I don't even know if that'll work. *shrugs* Oh well.
Wow...I just looked at one of the little notices taped to the side of the monitor. It says:
"Ctrl-Alt-Delete ONLY if you cannot do anything else. Always try shutting down through the Start menu firt. NEVER shut off computer or unplug without properly closing all programs and proper shut down of computer. SHUT DOWN PROCESS: Start/Shut Down/Select Shut Down/OK"
And I thought I was bad with computers!!

   how many times can post in one day....
Wanna know how bored I am? I just set my watch to the clock-in clock, and mine's ahead by about 1/2 a second. *grins* I've had maybe 10 calls since 9 this morning and two or three people have come by. I'm not really supposed to be on here right now, but I'm soooo bored!! I had lunch (cheese and crackers) about noon and just now I had some fruit snacks, Justice League. (Hey, mom buys 'em, I eat 'em.) I've played a couple of games of spider solitaire, and I'm going crazy. I've had lots of fun using the copying machine and the paper cutter! ^_^ I can't believe that most people spend the majority of their adults lives stuck in an office!!! I swear, if that happens to me, I will go crazy!!!!! I'm starting to wonder how long I can last w/ this... Hopefully, I'll make it to August 21. That day, I leave for college, and I won't be coming back 'til mid October! And I'll likely never work here again. *sighs*

   tell me, do I do anything other than work?
You'll never guess where I am right now... *groans* I know...it's really not that bad, but they keep having me work so they can go out and do whatever they want. Today, I'm workin from 9 'til about 5. It depends on when their daughter shows up to relieve me. *sighs* It's really not so bad, but I'm gonna be pretty bored today since no one's scheduled to stay tonight. However, the Ted Turner group has been booked for tomorrow night...hmmm...I know he owns a couple of restaurants here, but it's still pretty weird to imagine him in Wichita... o.o
