friends...
Well...I've been a real downer lately! *forced grin* I have more bad news...And we have lovelyEowyn to thank for this one...
*sighs*
Well, my friend (kim) from Colorado (we went to see her earlier this summer), is once again having everything bad happen to her! *sniff* I don't know if I told all of you earlier, but she got into a bad car accident recently. Luckily, the worst for her (physically) was whiplash. However, one of the other drivers is trying to blame everything on her! (even though he was at fault) The third driver was killed. (talk about some guilt, even if it wasn't your fault!) So, yesterday Kim went to court for all this...I don't know yet how it all worked out. She also recently lost her job. At the interview (where she was hired immediately), the woman told her they would work around her college schedule. Then, after 3 days of work, the woman called Kim into her office, saying that the other workers couldn't cover for the time Kim would be in court and that they didn't need the hassle of 'part time' help...Kim had arranged her college schedule so that she take down a 40-hour work week!!! She also had not followed up on the other job offers b/c she had gotten this one, and they've all filled up now that she's fired. Additionally, the apartment that she's sharing with a girl from Lincoln, NE is a complete wreck...the landlord wanted his best friend to move in, but Kim and her roomie got their deposit in first. So, this guy doesn't want them here. He refuses to fix anything. There's an infestation of ants that he won't take care of. He turned the heater on in their room. Finally, they called his boss about it, forcing their landlord to fix it. He yelled at them for calling his boss and told them to come to him first...like he'll ever do anything....*rolls eyes* He also tried picked a fight with the girl's dad when he came to see if they were settled alright. *shakes head*
On top of all that, I found out that 3 of my friends drink... *furious* Not only are all 3 of them underage, but all 3 of them know better! The one that pisses me off the most I won't mention by name, but she's very smart. She's going to a wonderful college, but it's also a serious party school. I wasn't worried about that aspect until I found out that she might get drawn in by it... The reason I know about these 3 friends who like drinking now *rolls eyes* is because they went to stay with Kim and were terrible the entire time they were there!!! They tried to get Kim to get into her stepdad's liquor cabinet. They hardly planned their trip (while Kim is in the middle of straightening out a million things with school, work, the apartment, and the car accident). They were selfish and disrespectful, and I'm honestly quite ashamed of all three of these girls!! *sighs* When I heard about this last night, I was torn between personally beating the crap out of each one of them, and just bursting into tears. All I want to do, is go see Kim, give her a big hug and just cry with her... *sighs* I'm too passionate...I worry too much about everyone else... *sighs*
If I think of a good question for today, I'll post it later...right now...I need to take a breather... *sighs*
