So, yeah....
So, last night we watched A League of Extraordinary Gentlemen at my friend's house. It was one of those movies I'd wanted to see but never got around to...I'm glad, now, that I never wasted the money to see it in theaters...*gags* Maybe I just have high standards as an LotR fan, but too much of the movie was overly exaggerated, and, simply put, done poorly. My little brothers and sisters think I'm going to be a film critic some day...I don't know. I think I'd get really sick of watching movies that much. *shrugs* I think what bugged me the most was that the sound on the DVD was messed up. You could barely hear the dialogue because the music and sound effects were up too loud. We needed captions to understand what was going on...
Luckily, we ended the night with School of Rock which is a truly awesome movie!!! "8:15 to 10, Rock History. 10 to 11, Rock Appreciation and Theory." lol That's one of the best movies I've seen in a loooong time! It made everything much better. *grins*
I think that's enough for today. I just spent 4 hours babysitting. I'm a bit tired. I'm supposed to go to a KU party to watch the game tonight. Unlike everyone else around here, I've never really caught March Madness... *shrugs* Hey, what am I complaining about? There's gonna be free food there! lol
