Have YOU gone overboard?
Hey guys! I just submitted my first article for the site. It's a humorous little number called "Off the Deep End". I don't expect anyone to like it, but on the off chance that you do, please tell your friends. Thanks and enjoy! I'll see you guys later. I gotta get back to rehearsals. We open in less than two weeks. I leave you now with the love theme from South Pacific and this site's current music, "Some Enchanted Evening." I think it really personifies Artukei and Aisha's relationship. Feel free to sing along.
Some enchanted evening
You may see a stranger
You may see a stranger across a crowded room
And somehow you know
You know even then
That somewhere you'll see her again and again
Some enchanted evening
Someone may be laughing
You may hear her laughing across a crowded room
And night after night
As strange as it seems
The sound of her laughter will sing in your dreams
Who can explain it?
Who can tell you why?
Fools give you reasons
Wise men never try
Some enchanted evening
When you find your true love
When you feel her call you across a crowded room
Then fly to her side
And make her your own
Or all through your life you may dream all alone
Once you have found her, never let her go
Once you have found her, never let her go
Ja ne! L8R!

Highway Patrol
J: (dressed as a state trooper)
TS: (sitting in a car pulled over to the side of the road) What’s the problem officer?
J: Alright meow. Hand over you licence and registration.
TS: (fumbles for his licence)
J: Hurry it up meow.
TS: (hands him his licence, giggling slightly)
J: There somethin’ funny here, boy?
TS: No.
J: Well, then why are you laughin’, mister... (looks at licence) Teshik Kre’shar?
TS: Um... uh... uh...
J: Alright meow, where were we?
TS: I’m sorry, but... are you saying “meow”?
J: (insulted) Am I sayin’ “meow”?
TS: I think...
J: Don’t think boy. Meow do you know how fast you were goin’?
TS: *snicker*
J: Meow what is so damn funny?
TS: I coulda swore you said “meow”.
J: Do I look like a cat to you, boy? See me leapin’ around from tree to tree all nimbly bimbly like?
TS: (still laughing) No sir.
J: Am I drinkin’ milk from a saucer? Do you see me eatin’ mice, boy?
TS: ^_^ *laugh*
J: (in his face) Now you stop laughin’ right meow!
TS: 0_0 (quietly) Yes sir.
J: Meow I’m gonna have to give you a ticket.
TS: But...
J: No buts, meow. That’s the law.
TS: (takes the ticket)
J: Not so funny meow, is it? (leaves)
TS: (starts reading the ticket)
J: (pokes his head back in) MEOW! (gets back in his cop car)
G: (riding shotgun, also in uniform) Team Ramrod!
J: I don’t know how you talked me into this.... “Farva.”
G: I want a liter of cola!
J: (closes the door, looks in the back at Felix, DJ, and Red) You boys like Mex-ee-co?! WOO HOO!! (takes off)

Won’t you be my neighbor?
J: Well, it may have taken a while. The weather may have fried us one day and drowned us the next. But we’ve all put a lot of hard work into it and it’s finally done. Felix, welcome to your new home!
FX: Thanks a lot, Artukei. I owe you.
J: (shakes his head) Ie. Friends carry no debts.
Gumdrop: Alright! My own house! (runs into the house)
FX: Gumdrop!
G: (jumping on the bed) Me likey bouncy! Me likey bouncy!
FX: Get off of there!
J: Gummy, this isn’t your house.
G: But I can’t go back to my room. There’s an evil monkey that lives in my closet!
J: Gummy, who you tryin’ to fool? Everybody knows you don’t have a closet. You don’t even have your own room for that matter.
G: ..... Oh yeah. (hops off)
J: Enjoy, man. If you need us, we’re right across the lawn.
FX: Thanks.
J: (leaves)
FX: (walks over to his drum set, starts playing for a little while)
“knock knock”
FX: Huh? (gets up, opens the door) Artukei?
???: Hello!
FX: (looks down)
G: (wearing an apron, a red bandana, and holding a plate of pancakes) Jemima’s witnesses. Y’all want some pancakes?
“SLAM!”
G: *sigh* (shakes his head) No sense of humor. (devilish grin) I’m gonna have some fun with this cat.
“ring ring”
FX: (picks up his cell) Hello?
???: Hello. Mr. Felix?
FX: Yeah?
???: Do you have a subscription to the Metrolex Post?
FX: Uh... no, but...
???: Sign up for one year and we’ll throw in a free gift of your choice.
FX: Thanks, but I’m not really...
???: You can have a thermos, a car air freshener, a set of napkin rings, or your own bootleg copy of Star Wars III.
FX: What?
???: It’s your choice, Mr. Felix. Or, if none of those pique your fancy, we have 500 other gifts you can choose from. Such as...
FX: Sorry, but no thanks. (hangs up)
“ring ring”
FX: Hello?
???: Hello, Mr. Flex. I’d like to talk to you about your long distance service.
FX: (hangs up)
“ring ring”
FX: Yeah?
???: That was very rude, Mr. Flex. Forget your long distance service. I would now like to talk to you about your people skills.
FX: *groan* (hangs up)
“ring ring”
FX: What?!
???: *heavy breathing*
FX: GRRR!! (hangs up)
“ring ring”
FX: WHAT!?!
A: Hey!
FX: 0.0\/ Aisha?
A: Yeah. What’s the deal?
FX: Um... uh.... nothing. Sorry.
A: I was just calling to see if everything’s OK with your new house.
FX: Uh.... it’s great. Thanks.
A: OK. Well, talk to you later.
FX: OK. Bye.
A: Bye. (hangs up)
FX: (puts his hand to his face) Awwwww maaaaan!
“ring ring”
FX: Yeah?
???: Wuzzaaaaaaaaaap?!
FX: AAAAAARRRGG!! (hangs up)
G: (rolling on the floor laughing) HAHAHAHAHA!! Welcome to the neighborhood!

Full-time Actor, Part-time Author
I'm booked solid for the rest of the month! Rehearsals for "South Pacific" are every night until performance at the beginning of September. So I'm not getting as much writing done as I want to. Still, I've got to remember to keep my priorities in line. I know you guys don't want to hear this, but you're kinda low on the list. Sorry.
On a non-related topic, let me give you kids some advice. Save up your money. Because you never know when an emergency will happen. Last week, I busted my tire. Now, I don't know if any of you have ever changed a tire before all on your own, but I hate it. It sucks! You're just mad throughout the entire process. You're pissed at the tire. You're pissed at the car. But mostly you're pissed at yourself for not being a better driver. Also, I had to do it in this weather. Manual labor in July? No thank you! Anyway, I got the spare on there and took my car in to get them replaced. They were due anyway, but still, FURKIN' DURDLERS! So there's a healthy chunk of capital I had to part with. *sigh* Again, save up your money cuz.... you never know.

J: (looking out the window) Rain, rain, rain, rain, rain. Nothin’ but stupid sucky rain for the last two weeks! *groan* Oh well. It’s a good thing I’ve got more DVDs than a Blockbuster on a Saturday. And more anime than three of them combined. Hmm. I haven’t watched Outlaw Star in a while. 0_0 Wait. Duh! That’s cuz I’ve been living it! And all my anime DVDs are back home anyway. I’m afraid that if I bring one over here it’ll cause some kind of dimentional paradox or something. Anywho....
later...
J: (watching Red VS Blue: Season 3) *laughing* Oh man, I love the Grunts. (in a high pitched voice) I’m gonna get me a Red, I’m gonna kill’im, I’m gonna chop his guts out and eat’em right there!! *laughs*
“rumble”
J: Whoa. That storm’s really starting to turn ugly.
“BOOM!”
J: Hoho wow! Woo! Gambatte, megami-sama.
A: (peeks in) Hey.
J: Hey.
A: What’cha doin’?
J: Oh, just watching some movies. Killin’ some time.
A: (sits next to him) Mind if I join you?
J: Not at all.
Church: (on the TV) Well, I didn’t want to screw up the timeline, Caboose.
Caboose: “Timeline”? Time is not made out of lines. Time is made out of circles. That is why clocks are round.
J: *laughs* Best Caboose line ever.
“BANG!”
A: (scoots closer to Justin)
later...
J: (on the phone) Hey John. We’re gonna watch some Firefly. You wanna come over?
TS: Shiney! I am there!
“click”
A: What’s Firefly?
J: Only the best sci-fi action television show ever made. It made me forgive Joss Whedon for Buffy and Angel.
“BOOM!”
A: *whimper*
J: (in grand voice) Even the gods agree! Look! The heavens tremble with rage at the mention of... eh?
A: (clinging to Justin’s arm)
J: You OK?
A: I’m fine.
“CRASH!!”
A: AAAH!! (holds him tighter)
J: ^_^ *chuckles*
A: What?
J: Nothing.
A: (lets go) I’m not afraid, if that’s what you’re thinking.
“rumble”
A: 0.0 *whimper*
J: Riiiight.
A: I’m not scared of thunder!
“BANG!!”
A: AAAH!! (grabs Justin) ..... (looks at him)
J: ........
A: (softly) Well.... maybe a little.
J: Aww. (pats her head)
A: Don’t baby me like that. It’s embarrassing.
“ding-dong”
J: (gets up) Be right back. (walks to the foyer, opens the front door) Come on in man!
TS: Geez! It’s a gulley washer out there. Let’s watch some Firefly!
FX: (walks in) Hey guys, what’s goin’ on?
J: Oh we were just gonna watch a little Firefly. (sly smile) Why don’t you join us, Felix?
TS: Yes. Join us Felix.
J and TS: Join us Felix. Join us Felix.
TS: The power of Serenity compels you.
J: Now that’s over the top.
TS: Sorry.

tr bordercolor="000000" td Doh! Forgot the carrots!
Hey everypeoples! New webisode! And new music for the site! A nice summer jam based on the Float Island theme from "Kirby Superstar", one of my favorite SNES games. But this tune isn't the only thing jamming. Take a look.
Jam Session
--Artukei’s house--
(Justin, Teshik, and Felix have their instruments set up in Justin’s garage)
J: (at his keyboard) OK. You guys ready?
TS: (in human form, holding his guitar) Ready.
FX: (plays on his drums for a sec) Good to go, squire.
J: OK. Felix, get a rhythm going for us.
FX: (starts playing)
J: Little slower.
FX: (slows down)
J: That’s good. John, 4/4 time, key of D sharp minor. Tonic chord for five 16th notes, then up a half step with the same pattern. 16th rest between the two.
TS: .... Wha?
J: .... *sigh* Like this. (plays it on his keyboard)
TS: Oh OK. (plays the riff)
J: Good. That’s good. Just keep repeating that. Felix, maintain the tempo. I’m gonna double up Teshik and then add the melody on top of that. (doubles Teshik on his keyboard) OK. NOW! (plays a melody for a few measures) OK, stop, stop!
FX: (stops) What?
J: Nothing. That was.... that was awesome. That rocked!
TS: What’s that from?
J: (geeky grin) .... The Brinstar Red theme from Super Metroid. Hehe.
FX: (rolls his eyes)
J: What? It rocked, didn’t it?
FX: When are we gonna start playing some real music?
J: You dare mock the works of Kenji Yamamoto and Minako Hamano?!
FX: Chill boy.
J: Nah, just kiddin’. That was just a warm up. Let’s try what we worked on yesterday.
later...
J: (singing) “What is real? I don’t know anymore
You’ve clouded my thinking and infected my core
How do I feel?
It’s like I’m going insane
You’ve become like
A cancer in my brain”
TS: Wait, hang on a sec! (tunes his guitar)
FX: Speaking of which, I think my snare needs some tightening. (looks around) Crap. I left my key in the other room. Be right back. (leaves)
J: Man, I can’t believe it’s been two years since I wrote that.
TS: Come up with anything new, lately?
J: Plenty. This is my newest one. (hands him a piece of paper)
TS: (reading) Nice. And you wrote this?
J: Actually,... Felix did.
TS: Really?
J: I wrote the music, but the lyrics are taken from a poem he wrote.
TS: .... About a girl?
J: That’s why he’s here.
TS: Let’s try it out.
later...
J: (singing) “When shall you come and visit this place?
Her love needs wings to fly
And what will you do? Her love so true
When you see joy in her cerulean eyes?”
FX: What were you just singing?
J: 0_0 Oh, Felix! Hey!
FX: That was my poem, wasn’t it?
J: -_-\/ Umm....
FX: You wrote a song from my poem?
J: I’m sorry, dude. I shouldn’t have...
FX: No, I... I like it. It’s just strange cause I wrote it for... you know.
J: Hey, it’s alright. Besides, I couldn’t waste good lyrics.
FX: (smiles)
J: I’ll find her for ya someday. Even if it kills me.
FX: You don’t have to.
J: Yeah, I’d rather not die either.

Hey kids! Sorry I didn't post this week. I've been busy rehearsing for a local production of "South Pacific." But I am, as always, working hard on the webisodes and trying to give our two newest characters, Teshik and Felix, decent "screen-time". But those sagas that I promised about a month ago are in the mix. Seriously, I'm working on like 6 stories at once here! Actually, this absence is kinda like a sigh of relief after finishing the "Strays" series.
Anywho, to make up for this absence, I am releasing a couple new wallpapers! That's right. Who loves ya, baby? ^_^ Three Street Fighter (a previously untouched catagory) and one more Darkstalkers (Felicia, of course). I've gone Capcom crazy! Well, I gotta run. Enjoy kiddies! Ja ne! L8R!
I'VE GONE CAPCOM CRAZY!!

THE 100TH WEBISODE, OZZ'S ANNIVERSARY, 4TH OF JULY CELEBRATION!!!!
A: (opens Justin’s door) You ready?
J: WHOA! (just putting on his trunks)
A: *laughs*
J: Don’t you knock.... ah... uh..... woof.
A: (wearing a pink bikini)
J: Green... red... blue... white... pink... orange...
A: Nya?
J: Is there any color you don’t look good in?
A: (blushes)
J: (puts on a Hawaiian shirt) Let’s party.
--outside--
J: (looking around) Man, this has to be the biggest party yet. Everyone’s here. The Masaki’s, the Mobius girls, DJ and Red and their families, all the Rifters including Teshik and Felix, and even the Strays! You know, looking at ‘em all, I never realized how many of my friends are... girls. (starts looking at all the girls in their swimsuits) *pant, pant, pant*
A: Justin, are you OK?
J: Hang on. I think I forgot something. (goes back inside)
A: Hmm.
“Ruff, ruff, ruff, ruff, ruff, ruff, ruff!”
A: Nya?
J: (comes back out)
A: What did you forget?
J: Couldn’t find it. Oh well.
A: Is that Australian Shepherd loose again?
DJ: Hey Justin, are you building a shed? (points at what looks like the frame work of a small house)
J: A guest house, actually.
DJ: A guest house?
J: For Felix. He and I are building it. He’s got no money and no-where to go. And it’s kinda my fault he’s here, so I’ve gotta do something.
DJ: Why couldn’t he just stay in one of the rooms in your house?
J: He wants Aisha and me to have our privacy. And Felix actually prefers solitude.
DJ: That’s kinda sad.
J: Eh. It’s just a phase.
YS (Yuki): (walks up to Felix) Hi! ^_^
FX: (quietly) Oh, uh.... hi.
YS: You’re Artukei’s new friend, aren’t you? What’s your name?
FX: Uh.... Bre... er... Felix.
YS: I’m Yuki. (holds out her hand)
FX: Uh.... hey. (briefly shakes her hand)
YS: So tell me about yourself.
FX: Um.... well I.... uh.......
YS: ........
FX: ........
“Hey Yuki! C’mere for a sec!”
YS: Oh. OK! Sorry, Felix. I’ll be right back. (leaves)
FX: (walks over by the drinks) *sigh*
A: Hey Felix, you OK? You look a little down.
FX: Hey Aisha. No, I’m alright. Thanks anyway.
A: OK.
S (Summer): I still can’t believe you turned down Aisha’s offer.
F (Felicia): We’ve been a big enough burden on Artukei. And he’s done so much for us already. We’ll make our own way with the strength he’s taught us.
J: Hey Felicia!
F: Nya?
J: We’re gonna play a little water volleyball. You girls wanna join?
F: Thanks Artukei, but we’d rather watch.
S: Sorry. Cat-girls don’t do water.
J: A so-cal girl who can’t stand water? Now that’s strange. But Aisha’s a cat-girl and she loves to swim. Well, more specifically, she’s a tiger-girl. And tigers love to swim more than domestic cats.
J, DJ, and Red: (playing volleyball against Aisha, Washu, and Rika)
G (Gumdrop): Ladies and gentlemen! The boyfriend VS girlfriend, husband VS wife, fiancé VS fiancé volleyball challenge! Let’s get it on!
R: (serves) Service!
G: Red serves to the girls. It’s going back to Rika...
RC: Uhn!
G: Who bumps it over to Washu...
W: Ha!
TS (Teshik): (commentating with him) And a beautiful set up right there.
A: Yaa!
G: Glorious spike from Aisha!
R: Oof.
TS: Nice save by Red. He’s bumped it over to DJ.
DJ: Uh!
TS: Sets it up...
J: Hya!
G: And Justin slams it back onto the girls’ side!
TS: This is shaping up to be a grueling match. I’d keep my eye on that Aisha. She seems on fire today.
G: Yes, Teshik. Clearly these two teams came to play.
TS: Dude, I didn’t know you knew all these people.
J: Yeah, this has got to be the best turn out ever.
“AAAIIIIIIIIIIIIYAAAAA!!!!”
J: What... the...?
???: (comes bounding over the fence...) BANZAI!! (... and into the pool)
“SPLASH!!”
J: What in the name of Akira?!
???: (pops their head up out of the water) Woo hoo!
J: Hey, pal! Whadaya think you’re... 0.0 (whispers) Uso.
???: (waves) Happy 4th, Justin-kun!
J: (smiles) Jinnai Makoto. You little... *laughs* (helps her out) What are you doing?
M: I heard you were having a party so I thought I’d crash it.
J: (leans over to Aisha) You invited her, didn’t you?
A: Of course.
J: (hugs her) It’s great to see you, Makoto-san. Wouldn’t be a party without you.
J: People, people! If I could have everyone’s attention. I would like to perform a toast. Raise your sodas. *ahem* To my best non-human friend and life-long companion Ozz. Exactly one year ago today, I was stranded in Los Angelis, California. And if it weren’t for our psychic link and his teleportation, I literally wouldn’t be here today. (Seriously, last year’s 4th of July post was the first appearance of Ozz.) To Ozz! Kampai!
All: Kampai!
RK (Rikku): So you’re Artukei’s daughter?
K (Kida): Um hm.
RK: But you’re... you’re just... how old are you?
K: I’m 12. Well, actually Prof. Washu says I’ll be 13 in just a few days.
RK: Are you... from the future?
K: *laughs* No. Prof. Washu says I have something special in my blood that makes me grow faster. What about you? You look about the same age as your dad.
RK: Well, I’m from the future. And Red is my future father.
G: (on the roof) Hey, ya’ll check this out! (an idot’s famous last words)
J: Gummy, what in the world are you doin’ up there!?
G: CANNONBALL!! (jumps off, but lands on the concrete a foot from the pool’s edge)
J: >.< Oooooooooo.
K: Gummy! (runs over) Dai jobu desu ka?
G: (on his back) If I weren’t stuffed, that probably woulda hurt.
later that night...
--Hancock Park--
“BOOM!!”
“Oh! Ah! Whoa!”
J: That one had screamers in it.
G: Do a fizzy one! Do a fizzy one!
A: Justin.
J: Hmm?
A: Tell me about why this day is so special.
M: Over 200 years ago, in 1776, America declared its independence from Britain. And on July 4th, America was made its own state and government. So every year, Americans celebrate in recognition of their freedoms. Hence the name “Independence Day.”
J: Makoto! She asked me!
M: You wouldn’t have known that anyway.
J: (to Aisha) It’s a way people can come together and celebrate their country and heritage. It’s a time people remember how thankful and fortunate they are to live in a place like this. A place they can call home.
A: .... (smiles) Well, it’s great that I’m here, then. Cuz I’m glad I live here too.
J: You are?
A: (nods)
J: Me too.
J and A: (snuggle up)
M: *sigh* Get a room, you two.
J: You know, you could move. Just like last time.
