Unmasked part 2

12:15 am, Nov. 1st

(Justin’s room)
J: (sitting on his bed hanging his head) God, what have I done? What have I done?
M: (walks in) Justin, what’s going on?
J: (looks up) What?
M: Aisha just burst into my room and said you tried to rape her.
J: I...
M: She’s lying right? I know you, Justin. You may act like a bit of a creep sometimes, but I know you’d never rape a girl. I don’t think I’ve ever seen you GROPE one.
J: I... Makoto... (looks down)
M: 0_0 You didn’t.
J: ........
M: You... you heartless LETCH! How could you?!
J: Makoto, I didn’t do it!
M: Then who?!
J: .....I don’t know.
M: How convenient.
J: Makoto, I swear it wasn’t me. I mean it was me but...
M: I don’t want to hear anymore. (grabs Aisha’s futon)
J: What are you doing?
M: Aisha’s sleeping in my room tonight.
J: What? No. Makoto, please let me talk to Aisha. I need to explain myself.
M: Have you no shame, Justin?! Right now, you’re the LAST person Aisha wants to talk to. (leaves)
J: (pounds his fist on the bed) DAMN IT!! (holds his head and starts to cry)
O: (peeks his head in) Zoo?
J: *sob, sob*
O: (flies up to Justin) Zooo.
J: *sniff* Did you hear all that?
O: (nods)
J: Ozz, you know me better than anybody else here. You know I’d never do anything like that, right?
O: (vigorously shakes his head)

(Makoto’s room)
A: *sniff* I can’t believe I fell for it! That whole “nice-guy, knight-in-shining-armor” routine was just some con he put up so he could get into my pants!
M: I never thought Justin could sink so low.
A: Makoto, *sniff* go get all my stuff out of his room. I’m leaving tonight!

(Justin’s room)
J: I don’t know what happened. One second I’m kissing her and the next thing I know, she scars my face. I’m not sure what’s going on, Ozz. But I think I know how to stop it. (gets up, walks to the door)
O: Zooo?!
J: Out. I’m going to do something I should’ve done a long time ago. (walks downstairs and to the front door)
O: (flies down and grabs Justin’s arm) Zoo!
J: I appreciate you wanting to help, buddy. But I just need to be alone for a while. (leaves)
O: (sadly) Zoooo. (slowly floats back up to Justin’s room, lies on the bed) Zooo.
M: (walks in)
O: Zoo?
M: Ozz. Where’s Justin?
O: (points out the window)
M: Out, huh? Well, good riddens. (starts to gather Aisha’s stuff) You might as well contact him now and tell him that Aisha won’t be here when he gets back.
O: ZOO!?!
M: (still collecting Aisha’s things)
O: (looks around rapidly in a “what do I do? what do I do?” fashion)
M: (starts to leave) Still... I can’t help feeling sorry for him. He and Aisha could’ve been really happy, but he just made the wrong choice.
???: (sounding slightly garbled) Makoto.
M: (stops) Huh? 0_0
???: Makoto, listen to me.
M: (turns around) Ozz? You can talk?
O: Listen to me. Uhn! This is very hard to do. You and I both know Justin would never do anything like this. Something’s wrong. He just needs to find out. Whatever you do, don’t let Aisha leave. It’s not him. He... Eeeeeee! (collapses)
M: OZZ! (drops Aisha’s stuff and runs over) Ozz, are you OK?!
O: ........ (slowly opens his eyes half-way) Mmm.
M: Ozz......... (nods) I will.
O: (closes his eyes)
M: Ozz is right. I said it myself. Justin would never rape a girl. But how can I convince Aisha?

(Makoto’s room)
A: (crying)
M: (walks in) Aisha?
A: (looks up)
M: You know, it’s pretty late to be leaving. Maybe you should sleep here for the night.
A: *sniff* What about Justin?
M: He left. I guess he was just so disgusted with himself... he just needs some time alone.
A: ........
M: (kneels down and puts her arm around Aisha) Aisha... does this really sound like something Justin would do?
A: Nya?
M: Think about it. All the kind words, the unselfish acts, the way he respected you, everything. Do you really think it was all a facade? The Justin you know, the Justin you love,.... he’d never try to rape you, would he?
A: ........
M: I guess it’s not a very convincing argument, but my point is.... will you give him another chance?
A: ......It is pretty late. I guess I could stay one more night. But I’m leaving first thing in the morning.
M: OK. Well, Ozz, that’s the best I can do. Justin-san, you’d better have a damn good explanation when you get back.
