Episode #140
Chapter 13, part 1

Aisha: Do you want to invite your parents?

Justin: 0.0 Um.... I... I can’t. They’re not able to cross-over. What about your parents?

Aisha: 0.0 Oh.... um.... no, uh.... they’re so far away. It’d be too big a hassle.

Justin: Oh. OK.

Aisha: Mm hm.

Justin: ........

Aisha: ........

Justin: ... So, uh... who do we have left to book?

Aisha: (looks at some papers) Hmm. We still have to find a band for the reception.

Justin: (flips to a bookmarked page in the phonebook) I did some looking around and found a highly recommended jazz ensemble.

Aisha: (looks at the page) “The Moonlighters.” Sounds nice.

Justin: Thought you’d like it.

Aisha: (gently hugs him) Oh purram, it’s going to be so wonderful when we share our first dance as husband and wife.

Justin: Yeah.

Aisha: (nuzzles him) And in front of all our friends.

Justin: ...... yeah. (glances away)

later...

Justin: (pacing in his room) Dance?! How could I have forgotten the dance? If it were just Aisha and me, it’d be different. But I can’t look like an idiot in front of all my friends.... on my wedding day! *sigh* Man, if only I were as good as... 0.0 (stops) .... Wait a second. I can be as good as.

--Guest Room--

“knock knock”

Felicia: Come in!

Justin: (enters) Felicia. Summer. We need to talk.

Summer: What’s up?

Justin: For the first time.... I have a favor.

Felicia: Yes, anything. What is it?

Justin: Teach me to dance.

Felicia: Nya? What?

Justin: As a surprise for Aisha. I want to knock her socks off at our wedding. And you two kicked ass at Club bLiNd! Please, teach me!

Felicia: .... Wow.... Well, what do you want to learn? Ballroom? Contemporary?

Summer: Street? Club?

Justin: All that. Waltz, samba, tango, rumba, fox trot, cha cha, quick step, salsa, the twist, the hustle, disco, pop and lock, hip hop, moonwalk! Gene Kelly! Fred Astaire! John Travolta! Michael Jackson! N*sync! Even Ricky Martin! EVERYTHING! (gets on his knees) Puh-leeeeeeeze!! Oh gosh, I’m having a Gumdrop moment.

Felicia: Okay, okay! (picks him up) We’d be happy to.

Summer: Of course, you know our standard fee is $200 per session.

Justin: What?

Summer: C’mon, Artukei. How badly do you want these lessons?

Felicia: (elbows her) Summer!

Summer: Nyow! What?
