Episode #141
Chapter 13, part 2

Justin: (rummaging through his closet) Man, there’s so much junk in here I don’t wear anymore. Hmm. Wait a minute. (pulls out a shirt with wolves on it) I’ve been looking for this. This was one of my favorite shirts. Wonder if it still fits. (takes his t-shirt off, puts the wolf shirt on)

Aisha: (passing by, stops to look in) Nya?

Justin: (moves around a little) Hmm. A little tight on the chest.

Aisha: Justin?

Justin: (startled) WAA!! (turns around clutching his chest) *pant* You know I hate it when you do that.

Aisha: Sorry. Have you lost weight?

Justin: ..... (points at himself) Boku?

Aisha: You look slimmer.

Justin: Probably this old shirt.

Aisha: (looks at him more closely) No, you are thinner.

Justin: It’s the dark colors.

Aisha: Nnnn. I don’t think so. (lifts up his shirt, starts feeling around his sides and tummy)

Justin: Ha ha! Cut it out. That tickles.

Aisha: You’re thinner. Look. (moves him in front of the mirror)

Justin: What the...? (looking at himself in the mirror, he realizes that he has, indeed, gotten noticeably slimmer, he looks down and feels his stomach) ..... No way. (takes off the shirt and starts feeling his sides) How the...? Where’d they go?

Aisha: You’ve been training more, haven’t you?

Justin: (staring in the mirror, slightly dumbfounded) I.... I guess I have. Apparently, fighting in the underground tournament did have it’s benefits. I just can’t believe this is me!

Aisha: (hugs him) Mmmm. As long as you’re warm, soft, and big enough to cuddle, I’ll love you just the way you are.

Justin: You know, this newfound self-image combined with you hugging me while I’m shirtless is making me feel.... damn sexy. (raises an eyebrow)

Aisha: (smiles) You thinkin’ what I’m thinkin’?

Justin: I should be. (kisses Aisha and pulls her onto the floor)

later...
--the dojo--

Teshik: (holding a broadsword) So what’re you saying? No more powers?

Justin: (holding a bastard) That’s right. If all they’re good for is turning me into monsters that cause nothing but fear and pain, I say to Hell with’em.

Teshik: But you could do other things before Ravage, right?

Justin: They were worthless. Moving twigs. Breaking paper screens. All parlor tricks compared to what Ravage could do. And the more I developed them, the more he wanted to use them for his own purposes. I won’t tempt him anymore. I refuse to. Besides, what’s a family man need super powers for anyway?

Teshik: (raises his sword) To defend his family. HAA!! (clashes his sword with Justin’s)

Justin: (pushes Teshik back) I was already a great fighter in this world. I didn’t need powers to defend my loved ones. And I still don’t.

Teshik: But what if an army of super-villians raids the city?

Justin: I’m just a man, John. Leave hero’s work to the heros.
