Long Time...

Wow, I haven't updated in ages...(half of you are like, "you haven't?" and the other half are "...who are you again?" Lol jk.) But really I know it's been forever! Everyday I think about updating but I don't have my site ready yet (I have to redo the whole thing) plus I'm so short on time! I've been pretty busy with school work and other things. Plus I'm graduating in a month and there's lots going on about that! I just wanted to say hi to you guys and let you know I haven't forgotten about any of you and I still do read a lot of your posts, I just don't usually have time to comment. There are a lot of GB entries I have to reply to and PMs and whatnot. Hope you guys can forgive me for being silent for so long! I'll try my best to get my site active again like it used to be soon! Anyways until then I wish you all well with your lives, which I will continue to read about ^_^. Ja'ne! <3

Long Time No Post

February 15th, 2007 10:50PM Mood: "Whatever"-ish Well minna-san, I haven't updated for a while. Lots to say, but not sure where to start... Oh, last time, I was happy because I had gotten extra internet time, yet I never really explained how my internet works. There are two computers in my house, one is mine and one's my Dad's. He controls the internet I get from his computer, and I normally get from 8:00PM-9:30PM every day. So naturally I was happy when it worked until 1:17PM the next day :P Now onto the story of my "sick week"... Alright, well last Monday my dad took off for a trip to India (his country of birth). He usually visits for 40 days, but was only able to get about 10 days off work this time. My mom and I took him to the airport (security spent a long time checking him out, ha ha) and saw him off. Then we went home and I'm sure I hopped right onto his computer (when he's gone I can use all the internet I want on his computer). Later that night I announced to my mom that I felt sick. Tuesday I woke up to discover I was very very right. I normally have trouble waking up for school, but if my mom makes breakfast and brings it to me, I always get up. She noticed I wasn't budging so brought some eggs up to me. I barely noticed and fell back asleep. Turns out I had a very nice fever, yay. Although I should've stayed home that day, I draaaaagged myself to school anyways (I miss too many days as it is!). I wish I hadn't. Oh well, I was fine. I made it through the day alive, anyways. Wednesday I stayed home and did nothing but watch dumb daytime shows and eat soup. It seems by the end of Wednesday, my fever was turning into a full-on flu. Thursday I also stayed home, with the flu this time. This time I spent a lot of time on the computer. Searching for pictures and scans, mostly. I also watched some stuff, but more about that later. Friday I started off feeling better. No more fever it seemed, now I just happened to have a cold. Achoo. But it was fine. I went to school, where I was met by a very nice law midterm exam. Don't worry, I studied...kind of. Anyways Friday I was alright although by the end of the school day I felt exhausted. Later at home I took a little nap. At around 8PM, my mom woke me from my nap saying I was making noises. That's when I realised that I could barely hear her and that my ears were hurting like heck. I had to keep my hands over them and kept repeating "ow ow ow" while also trying to tell my mom what was wrong. The hurting wouldn't stop so I headed up to the trusty computer to look for things to do when you have an ear ache. We tried everything but nothing helped. So my mom ended up whisking me off to the hospital. I could barely walk staright with the ringing in my ears so my mom practically had to drag me around. Luckily, it was the quickest hospital trip ever. The thing is, they drugged me up while I was there o.O. First two advils, then two codiene pills, then two shots of something else...by the time I got home I was laughing at things that weren't even remotely funny.. There's a whole other story about me in my drugged state but I think that's enough. Oh, and it turned out I have an ear infection in both ears. Well a week has gone by since then. I've still been sick and I'm still hard of hearing but I'm quite a lot better. However, yesterday my mom fell down the stairs and it seems she broke her ankle. I heard the crash from upstairs and came down to see what happened. When I saw her there the first thing I said was, "I can't drive, you know," and she laughed. Now her friend is doing the driving for us. My dad is shceduled to come back tomorrow evening. I'm pretty sure he's gonna be amused by my mom and I, since we seemed to not do so well while he was gone! (Plus my dad has a tendencey to break his ankles--all the time--so someone else in the family doing it is odd.) I plan to meet him at the airport tomorrow. Now that that's over with, onto anime! While I had such lengthy time on the computer, I was able to watch a series I've always wanted to see: AIR. It is such a sad story!! I'm not going to spoil anything but I recommend you watch it if you like drama or sad stories (I really did cry, twice). Plus the series is only 13 episodes, so it's easy to get done. I also wanted to watch Kanon and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, but I didn't get enough time (although I saw 2 eppys of Haruhi and I like it so far). I think AIR is going to be my next theme. I want a more sad, melancholy theme, yet be able to portray it without using dark colours. Hm...anyways that reminds me, thanks for 900 hits! Actually I'm at 936, and I haven't even put up a new banner yet. I can't keep up with you guys! Lol, but I really appreciate it! I'll get the new pic up soon! I also want to aplogise; I haven't been keeping up with PMs and GB signings and other people's posts very well lately. Being sick for all that time slowed me down (although it seems I got all the common illnesses over at once, which is good ^_^). Gomen, I'll try to catch up as soon as possible! O.O

February 4th, 2007 2:37 AM Mood: Disoriented OMG, my internet isn't supposed to be working right now!! I'm supposed to get from 8 PM until 9:30 PM, and then five minutes at 11:55 PM...but after my five minutes it just kept going! And now it's 2:37 AM! I'm so happy but I don't even know what to do with myself! I know there's so many things I need to do but I can't even think right now! Lol! Oh well, I'm sure I can keep myself busy! (Wouldn't it be great if this was permanent? Woot!) Anyways, my new featured wallpaper is from...Chobits! Ta-da, it's not Gundam SEED! Lol ^_^. I was just playing around with this pic I had, and then I ended up making this wallpaper of Chi and Freya. I kind of like it. I tried to make it look like they were rising out of a cloud into the sky, with the wings. And I called it "Sister Mine". And I got one of my wallpapers accepted at Animepaper! You can see it here. Also, I've finally learned how to make vectors! I submitted my first real one at Minitokyo, and I may submit it here sometime. Anyways I'm going to go take advantage of this extra internet time now...I should go watch some anime or something...anyways I hope you're all having a good weekend! 800 Hits & 100 Wallies

January 29th, 2007 5:12 AM Mood: I have one of those weird feelings that are kind of hard to explain...but other than that I'm just fine ^_^. And tired. Hey everybody! Hope you had a good weekend. I slept through most of mine o.O Yep yep that's me, lazy as can be... Anyways today is my first post since I've reached 800 hits! I reached it so fast, thanks for all your help! Also, I've submitted my 100th wallpaper! You can see it up there *points up*. It's of Lacus and Kira (more Gundam SEED, of course...) and I thought that pic was so so adorable. I called it "Playful Love" because of their positions...Kira's pose and the way Lacus is hanging on to him, very kawaii. The wallie itself is pretty simple. Quite flowery. I tried to make something nice and fun. I hope you all enjoy it. I'm hoping for at least 100 downloads since it's my 100th wallie, but we'll see. Also, from now on, I'm going to try and make my wallies better...as in more well-made with more time and effort put into them. Also, is there anything you guys wanna see from me? Any series you wanna see more of (since I'm always so stuck on GSEED)? I'd love to hear your ideas. (I wonder sometimes if 100 wallies is a good thing or a bad thing. Sure it means I've made a lot of wallies, but think of all the hours of my life I've spent just making stuff on Photoshop when I should've been doing other stuff....oh well, too late now ^_^) Well, today's Monday...I usually don't like Mondays, plus I have an English quiz today on something or other, but it should be fine. Failing Life

January 17th, 2006 6:40 AM Mood: Hey everyone. I haven't updated in a while, I know. I can only update when I'm actually up this early on a weekday, which is rare. Anyways. Not much is going on with me. I've been really horrible lately. I feel as if the world is falling apart sometimes; not sure why. I've been letting down all the people that care about me, and I just can't fix myself. I've become impossible. It drives me crazy. Anyways, I don't feel like talking about me right now. I don't know what to say or do anymore. I've given up and although I want to go back, I can't seem to, no matter how hard I push myself. Today's featured wallie is one I actually like. It's of Shinn and Stellar from Gundam Seed Destiny. I absolutely love that pic of them. Sad yet beautiful. The scan I had to work with was pretty small, but it worked out. Also the words written on it are lyrics from the song playing on my site. I hope you all like it. (Heh heh, comments are always happily accepted ^_^.) I also did a misc anime girl one, which you can view here. Well, I think that's all I have to say for now. How about some Q's? 1. What event do you look forward to the most in your life? Why? 2. New Theme & 700 Hits

January 8th, 2007 Hey everyone! I'm rushing again today (late for school!), so just a quick post! I've finally changed my theme, on occasion of reaching 700 hits! It's of Lacus Clyne from Gundam Seed. I kind of like it...it's alright, I guess. Took me forever to finally choose a theme. Oh well! Hope you like it! Also, all my themes have a word or phrase that go with them...this one's is "You are my reason", or something to that effect. Which is why I also put the song "Reason" by Nami Tamaki! Anyways, today's featured wallie is from yesterday, It's a group pic of Bleach! I liked it and wanted to do something with it ^_^. Orihime almost ended up being my theme! Oh yeah, and arigatou for 7oo hits! You guys are awesome and I really appreciate your visits! Anyways, questions... 1. Does your room have a theme of some sort? If you had to pick a theme for your room, what would it be? 2. What makes you feel the worst about yourself? My answers: 1. My room has a snowflake theme, lol. First Post of the New Year

Tuesday, January 2nd, 2006 7:25 AM Current Mood: Konnichiwa everyone! I haven't posted since last year! Like OMG! Okay, I'll cut it out now. I don't have much to say today (wow, how rare) but I'm not usually awake so early (up all night, as usual). In kind of a bad mood. Don't worry about it though ^_^ I mentioned last post that I might go shopping. I did. I got Gundam Seed Destiny DVD Vol.1, Fruits Basket manga Vol.1, and a poster of Sasuke and Itachi. I've never seen that poster before, so I got it. It looks like this: Also, if you're a member of Animepaper.com, you can download it here. I read the Fruits Basket manga. I'm not going to go into it, but I really really like it. I recommend it. Funny, kawaii, pretty...lol, I'm such a girl, huh? Anyways the storyline is great too so if you've never checked it out, you should. (This avatar could also describe part of my mood today.) One new wallie up. Another simple one, of Sakura from CCS. I like the soft pink background and the pale colours. The lyrics are from a song from the anime "A Little Snow Fairy Sugar". Super cute. Sometimes when I finish a wallie I look at it and say, "Is this even any good?" Then I figure that I might as well submit since I have nothing else to do with it. Plus they do get downloaded so I guess you guys like 'em. Thanks ^_^ Alright, looks like I managed to come up with something to talk about XD. New Years Eve!

December 31st, 2006 11:35 AM Mood: reminiscent, perhaps? Konnichiwa minna-san! I wasn't going to post today but I figured I might as well. It's my last chance to post in 2006! Sorry if it ends up a bit long ^_^;; Well, today's my celebration...like Fortuna mentioned yesterday, we celebrate Eid. Our holiday. So happy Eid to us ^_^. I'm planning on going shopping later, yay. Oh yes, I hope you guys like fireworks! I've got 3 new wallies up, all of which I kind of like (I don't usually like my stuff.) Maybe 'cause I worked quite hard on them? Although they look simple, the scans they're made from were pretty big. Other wallie makers might understand it this way...I had to actually zoom out to extract them. I don't know about you, but that doesn't happen often. Anyways, hope you guys like them! They've got lots of pretty fireworks! Lol. *Points up to profile* You can see them there. Please check 'em out! Oh, and I submitted quite a few new years e-cards. You can see those here. Well since this year is coming to an end, how about some questions. 1. Boxing Day!!

December 27th, 2006 11:49 AM Mood: Kinda tired. Just woke up. Well!! Yesterday was boxing day. And it was CRAZY. Where do I begin? Well, my Dad and I went to Best Buy/Future Shop at 5:45 AM. (The stores are literally right beside each other.) The lines for both went all the way around the building....and farther...my Dad and I kinda hung around our truck until they opened the doors...then we rushed up to the front and, well, budded in line. Ah-hah ha. Oh well, right? ^_^. Then when we got in some news guy got a horrible pic of me. (Mouth open, all that.) I hope he doesn't use it for anything. Then my Dad and I went off on our separate "missions". His was the mp3 players and mine was a wireless keyboard/mouse for him. We got our stuff. Let me tell you though, that place was totally PACKED. I've never seen so many people in one store. Did I get anythng for myself? Well after going to Best Buy five times throughout the day, on the last trip I got *drumroll* the Fullmetal Alchemist Movie, Special Edition 2-Disk Set!! Yay for me!! I'm very proud of myself. Don't tell me what happens though!! *Admires gorgeous pic of Ed on the cover* Alright, moving on. I've got another wallie up! This one's of Orihime Inoue from Bleach. The wallie is pretty simple, but it uses one of my fave pics. Plus I really love the background. Pink grunge kind of look....took a lot of blending! Anyways, you can view it here.
