LOVE

Love is like a crystal, as is your heart.
Once shattered it can never be repaired,
for all the pieces are not there.
(try not to let anyone get into your heart.

Without My Love, My Life is Only a Dream

As I stand here watching the sun set so clear,
I shut my eyes and picture my love so near.
I see him hugging me close, I see him kissing me slow,
I hear the words from his sweet lips telling me he?ll never let me go.

Fears haunt me when so far away my love lies,
for my eyes without him near, sad tears they constantly cry.
It seems so cruel of this world to keep us apart,
for my love for him is unconditional ? with all my heart.

Still my days are endless, my nights long too,
and all my thoughts of him with the passing days accrue.
My love for him grows stronger, my feelings for him too deep,
for in my mind and heart, my love I wish for a lifetime to keep.

For without my love beside me, there is no happy ending to my days,
for all I do each day and night, his touch and sweet kisses I crave.
For as long as these oceans and lands keep him and me apart,
I know that the beginning of my life is yet to start.
