   Electromagnetic Navigators Love Emerald Nuts!
Hey friends!

Okay, has anyone seen these commercials for Emerald Nuts. They are so ridiculous! They have these weird scenarios involving things that use the letters E and N. If you've seen them, then you know what I'm going through.

AGGGGHHHHH!!!!! School in three days! God, I don't wanna go back! *sobs* Okay, dry up, your friends are reading this. But yeah, it sucks royally. I'm still gonna be on MyO though. Circumstances will allow me to post in my lunch period. YAAAYY! By the way, if you're still gonna be on MyO, tell me in the comments.

Oh yeah, I've been forgetting to give an update on my cousin and his braces. My God, he got screwed! He's got things behind his front teeth so that his front teeth don't knock his bottom braces off. Oh man, it's bad, that's all I can say.

Well, I guess you know what this part of the post usually is. Poem Time! This time, it's Karen's turn for a poem. By the way, if this comes out way too sappy and wussy, it's because I listened to nothing but AFI, As I Lay Dying, Slipknot's "Iowa", and (my favorite song) Cradle Of Filth's "Nymphetamine" while I was writing it. Hopefully, as long as this is it won't suck.

Note to self: Never listen to Cradle Of Filth when writng poems evre again! Well, there you go Karen. I hope you like it considering it took forever to think up, and hopefully it doesn't suck as bad as I think it does. I tried, really.

Speaking of Cradle Of Filth, Recommendation Time! To get this three way tie out of the way, this time it's goth videos, as voted on by grinner and NyxGoddess. It's Cradle Of Filth with "Nymphetamine" off the cd with the same name. This is without a doubt my favorite song EVER!!!!!!! And, strangely enough, the one I was listening to when I wrote the poem above. Please tell me what you think of the song. And I already know that COF's weird. Don't remind me.

   The Boys Of Summer Are Gone!
Hey everyone.

Well, sadly, I go back to school (or, as we in my town call it, purgatory!) next Monday. NO!!!! I don't wanna go back. I'm now gonna have less time for poems, watching anime, checking out everyone, and my cosplay will probably crash before it ever gets off the ground. By the way, thanks for everyone for hoping the sewing machine gets fixed. Just one problem, it's been broke for 10 YEARS!!! I don't ever remember it working. Hopefully I can get a real small one so I can put it up easily.

Well, my cousins have left, but I still can't put my art on here. I have a strange feeling that this scanner sucks. I'll still try to get it fixed.

I got a new album I must tell you about. Yesterday I bought the new Arch Enemy album "Doomsday Machine" and let me tell you, I've NEVER heard a girl lead singer sound like that in my life! I give it a 7 out of 10. Definitely give it a test drive.

Well, I got a few responses to the poem request I put last week, and it seems grinner has struck gold first. Well, grinner, I thought about it and have a funny poem here for you just like you wanted. Here it is and I hope you like it.^_^

One day while I was walking home,
I found a pink egg on the side of the road.
So I picked it up and took it home
Because I wanted to keep it.

I put it in the refrigerator and I don't know why.
Maybe just to get it out of sight.
Sadly, my brother has found my prize
And I think he wants to eat it.

Luckily it hatched, and out came a penguin.
I gave it a great big smile.
I named my feathered friend July.
Why? Cause it's the same as mine.
The penguin has the same name as mine.

I took the penguin to school with me
To show them what I had.
That's about the time he bit my finger
This penguin is quite bad.
Yes, he is a penguin that's bad.

I went to the principal, told him my story,
He seemed to think I was lying.
Gave me detention, the class heard "attention",
And saw my penguin's a substitute teacher.
Yes, my penguin's a substitute teacher.
How the hell is it a substitue teacher?

Later that night I went to the club
To be with my friends, you see.
All of a sudden a sharp pain hit my spine,
I just took a kick to the back.

It happened all night and when I got home,
The penguin laughed like he was going to crack.
When I got in bed I then found out
The penguin put a 'kick me' sign on my back.
Yes, he put a 'kick me' sign on my back.
How the hell did he put a 'kick me' sign on my back?

I got up that morning and to my surprise
The penguin was reading some books.
I asked him what he was doing
But all I got was harsh looks.

When I got home, I passed out in shock
The penguin was talking about interest rates.
Six months later, I tured on the TV
And saw that my penguin's president of the United States.
Yes,my penguin's president of the United States.
How the hell did my penguin get to be president of the United States?

That is the story of my penguin.
It's nsme was July.
And in case you're wondering,
It did have the same name as me.
Yes, it did have the same name as me.
Why did I give it the same name as me?

So there you go, July. I hope you like it. Since Living Doll commented about it after grinner, I assume she's next on the poem list. After she tells me what format, it should be up here. So, until then, I'll just be thinking of ideas.

   Can I Get Some Coffee Flavored Coffee!
Hey everyone.

Let me state for the record, Denis Leary is the greatest comedian that has ever walked the face of God's green earth! If you dare to go against me on that, you're goning to lose loads of brownie points, YOU GOT THAT!!! Now if you agree with that, YOU'RE MY BEST FRIEND EVER!!!! He is a genius. My radio station on Yahoo played some of him off of his stand-up album "Lock and Load" and I fell on the floor when he started talking about coffee! Did I already say he's a genius? Well, he is.

It drives me crazy I have to post this early. My cousins try to take my internet from me at every turn. So I have to get the jump on them before they wake up. Which may or may not explain the early time at which I wake up. Oh well, I'm up now so what the heck.

My cosplay situation hasn't even begun to get off the ground for one simple fact: my grandma's sewing machine is dead!! I need to find something to help me out with this now!!

   Here Comes The Bride!
Hey friends and, well, new visitors to my site!

Well, as you can tell from the headline, I went to a wedding yesterday. That's right, my 2nd or 3rd cousin (can't remember which) got married yesterday and me and my cousins (all five of us) went to it. It was very good, except for the fact that the hot wings at the reception were actually cold wings because no one was smart enough to keep them warm. My oldest cousin (who's a year younger than me) got in a murderous rage when he bit into that thing. It was hilarious! The cake was good, too.

I went to the mall with my mom last Saturday and got a bunch of stuff. I got lots of stuff for my cosplay, a sweatband, the new album by Still Remains (which on a scale of 1-10, gets a 7. It's a great album, pick it up.), and my first mangas! I got volume 1 & 2 of Rurouni Kenshin. It's good so far, I'll probably get more.

Man, I sure did get lots of comments last time! You guys have tons on your mind. That's great that everyone stops buy considering all I do is play vids and put my poems on here. Which reminds me, it's poem time!

Which reminds me, did ANYONE watch Viva La Bam last night. Cradle Of Filth was on the show and performed "Nemesis" for this monster crowd, and Dani shaved Novak's head bald in the middle of a busy street! That was so funny!

Well, the vote last week went like this: each category got two votes! So, over the next six weeks, I'm going to air two videos by each category. Seems fair enough.

This week is hardcore metal, voted on by Living Doll an myself^_^. It's As I Lay Dying with "Confined" off their album "Shadows are Security". You now see what I've been listening to when I write every poem and where my inspiration comes from. Tim Lambesis is a freaking GENIUS! By the way, I'm trying to grow my hair out to be as long as the lead singer Tim's. Is this a good or bad idea?

   Happy Birthday, Logan!
Hey everybody!

Today is awesomedude898's birthday! So, I told him that I'd put a video in featuring Resident Evil clips (since he's a huge RE fan.). So the recommendation this week is one I've already done before. It's Slipknot (the reason there's a "slip" in my name) with "My Plague" off their album "Iowa". Trust me, Slipknot rule!

Well, I've had a boring week. Hope none of you had a week like I did. Although, this week was the greatest episode of Headbangers Ball EVER! They had videos by everyone I loved: Throwdown, Shadows Fall, As I Lay Dying, Slipknot, Mudvayne, Mastodon, Unearth, and Trivium! OMG, I was freaking out on the floor in shock!

Bad news. My cousin (best friend cousin!) is getting braces at the end of the week. He is so not looking forward to it. We're trying to give him tips to help him out, but I know what it's like. Hopefully, he won't have to wear them as long as I do. Please pray for him, please!

   I Get My Rest In A World That Doesn't Sleep!
Hey Everybody!

Great news! I passed the defensive driving class! Two nights, ten hours (counting the driving), and fifteen questions can drive a person crazy! The test was easy, though. Everything they said I either already knew from before I got my license or from the Alcohol and Drug Awareness Program (which, strangely, had nothing to do with defensive driving.) There were some interseting people there. One guy seemed to listen to a lot of music that I did, but we didn't really click. Oh well, I'll never see anyone there ever again. I was so tired last night and still am today. Oh well, I'll live.

Really, really, REALLY bad news!!!! My guitar teacher quit giving lessons this week! I got there this Monday and he's not even there. I call him and he says he said last week that he quit giving lessons. That is a load of bull crap!!! He knows he didn't call me last week and he knows he made me drive all the way there before I get the picture! I'm so mad! But I can't stay mad. I have to look at the bright side. Now I can teach myself guitar at my own pace. Besides, he can't degrade me for wearing a Linkin Park T-shirt anymore.^_^

Obviously, you probably noticed I've changed my background. I'm stiil keeping the Outlaw Star theme with Melfina (she's the best!^_^^_^^_^^_^^_^^_^). If you like the old one better tell me and switch them out.

A bright side to the defensive driving class was the breaks. I got some time to write poems in the breaks. This, I feel, is a great one because it has a chorus. So it's obviously written in song form. Tell me what you think.

Well, instead of a recommendation (the It Dies Today video seems to be good enough.), I was thinking. Obviously, I HIGHLY recommend the whole album to anyone. It was such a hard buy, too, cause it was either that or Cradle Of Filth's "Dusk And Her Embrace" and I'm A COF maniac! Two: I'm going to start cosplaying! AAAAHHHH, I'm excited! I'm doing a hard one first, though. I'm TRYING to do Harry MacDougall's battle suit. Not the tank top and vest everyone's seen him in. Living Doll's got me started and I'm trying to listen to her tips.

   Look What I Did!
Hey everybody!

Well I got some great news. I now have a driver's license! I can't believe it! That test was way too easy. If that's all you have to do to get a license, somebody's going to get hurt o the road. No joke.

Sorry I didn't post yesterday. The computer froze and wouldn't let me go to MyO. If anyone knows how to get around it, I'll play the vid of your choice next week.

Today I have to go bach to the oral surgeon for a consultation on how I'm doing so far. I have completely healed up, but they still wanna check me out. Also, I have to take a defensive driving class tonight. So boring. So very boring.

Yesterday, while my computer was frozen, I did play some kiddy games with my two younger cousins. We ran around PRETENDING to be spys. I personally thought it was embarrassing (I'm too old to do that! I'm sixteen. SIX-FREAKING-TEEN!), but anything to make them happy I suppose.

Poem Time! This one's a little creepy in my opinion. I've been listening to lots of Cradle Of Flith and that's affecting my writing style.

The shadows frolic on a night like this,
Dancing through the trees.
The goosebumps shiver down my spine,
In part to this misty winter breeze.
The hole in my heart grows deeper and wider.
I wonder where the end will be.

And sadly, so is she.

We stood in the forest,

Hey! Well nothing really much going on. I'm surprised by the amount of comments my Harry and Mel story got. But sadly, I think people aren't reviewing my poems anymore. Come on people. I need your word on these, good or bad.

Well I wanna say thnks to Living Doll for wishing me well on my wisdom teeth. It got me feeling better knowing there are people caring what happens to me. By the way, Karen, I'm still praying for you guys in in Florida.

   Pain, Dispair, and The Teeth! Oh God, THE TEETH!!

Hey, everyone. Well, I had an unusual week. First, Me and my mom have to go to the city to have doctors check-ups. When I went Thursday I tried to get the Evangelion movies at Media Play, but those morons said they don't carry anime movies.......WHAT!!! Come on! So, I settled and bought three albums. They are: (1) Zao -Parade of Chaos, (2) Cradle of Filth - Lovecraft & Witch Hearts, and (3) Bury Your Dead - Cover Your Tracks. I can't belive the Bury Your Dead Album! It's awesome, especially considering it's their first album. Check all those artists out.

So, on Wednesday, mom told me she set up an appointment on friday to get my wisdom teeth taken out, and that, yes, they would put me to sleep to do it. I'm on day 5 right now and I'm still in pain. Luckilly it wasn't as bad as people said it was going to be, but I still don't want to do this again.

Then yesterday, my guitar class got canceled either because of the hurricane or because my teachers girlfriend from Indiana is in town. By the way, no, I'm not going to take a pass at her so don't even think about persuading me to.

Poem time! This one is weird, but let me explain. Yesterday my cousins we're using the computer all day (which explains why I didn't post yesterday). While one of them was on, his older brother and my best friend kept saying to him "Dude, your just like a little lego." Lego! As in the building blocks! Then, out of nowhere, he challenged my writing skill by asking me to write a song and include that as one of the lines. So, I wrote a poem, like he said, and he seemed pretty impressed. So here's the poem of shame.

Dude, your just like a little Lego,
Never really willin' to let go
Of all those things and people
That you hold so close to you.
If only you could see
What your doing to me,
Then maybe you would change your ways
And stop trying to be my enemy.

OK. I know it sucks, but hey, it was a challenge. I'd still like your comments on it, though. And I REALLY would like to know if I should put my super poem on the site still. xSakurax said she wants to hear it, but i'd still like more recommendations for it.

Tell me if you think this is funny. I've seen how people have like mini-stories on their posts, of like, people talking to each other and stuff like that. Well one popped in my head Saturday and I can't get it off my mind. It's a hypothetical encounter between Harry MacDougall and Melfina of Outlaw Star nad it has the funniest ending. tell me what you think

Harry: Mel, there you are!
Mel: Harry, what are doing here!
Harry: Melfina, I came here, halfway across the galaxy, searching everywhere, never sleeping, always thinking of this day.
Mel: Harry...if anyone sees you here, they're going to hurt you. You need to...
Harry: No, Mel! I'm tired of running. I'm here for a reason. Not to hurt you, not to force you to do anything, and not to kill them. I'm here for something MUCH more important to me and to you.
Mel: Harry, I....I........I..........
Harry: Mel, don't say anything. just let me say what I came to say, and, if you want, I'll leave.
Mel: No! I don't want you to leave at all. In fact, maybe we can be together.
Harry: Are you serious!?!?!?!?
Mel: Yes. I mean, if you want to?
Harry: OF COURSE!!!!
Mel: I guess I kind of ruined what you want to tell me, huh?
Harry: No, not at all. I still wanted to say what Ive been dying to tell you since the day we met.
Mel: Really?!
Harry: Yes!
Mel: Okay. Go ahead.

Today I recommend The Transplants with "Gangsters & Thugs" off their new album "Haunted Cities". It's got this awesome vibe to it and I want to go see them at Warped this year. Speaking of Warped, I think I might be going, so wish me luck.

To answer last weeks question, yes, I watched Live 8. My fav performances were Likin Park, Green Day, and, surprisingly, Dido! Man, was that weird. Everyone thought I was crazy when I was singing with her.

Awesomedude said on his site there's someone called Akane the Fox down there, too, so I'll pray for him, too, as well as my friend Living Doll.    Today Isn't The Day!
Hey, everyone. Bad news. I went to get my mouth frickin' torn apart again this morning and, as it turns out, I have to wear these things longer. AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Now there is something I want to bring up that's very important. Most of you probably saw the mini-war among telk and awesomedude898 that I kind of got in as well. Well, for the record, I wanted to say I am not discriminatory against anyone. I was putting in my feeling about the situation. I don't hate non-Christians. Most of you know I'm a metal head. That's a genre of music that's mostly satanic! But I'm still a Christian and I don't get mad when some of my bands say things like that. Also, I don't hate gays and lesbians. I know a lot of people who are like that and I get along fine with them. So, I wanna say that if I offended telk in any way, which I didn't mean to, I'm sorry from the bottom of my heart.

Now the video. You all voted and PMed me with your votes and it turns out it was I tie between Cradle of Filth and My Chemical Romance. Which means They cancel each other out and Green Day will be the new video for the month.

Speaking of Green Day, I bought American Idiot last Tuesday. INCREDIBLE! I am in love with St. Jimmy and Jesus of Suburbia. Went to visit the rest of my family over Fourth of July weekend, which explains why I wasn't around here that much. Sorry!
