I ALMOST DIED!!!! (Okay. No I Didn't, But I Like Going Around And Saying That.) XD
Hey guys! (Karen's comment was right. "Guys" is androgynous. ^_^) Well, I'll explain the title in the post.
So, Monday my cousin's were here and brought their Gamecube here (Seeing as how I sold mine. Remember?). I played a little bit of that with them and we played Super Smash Bros. Melee, which is like our game. Warning: You WILL get murdered against us in that game. It does not matter who you are. We've played this thing til sunrise on soda rushes before. XDD Anywho, after that I watched the Outlaw Star DVD to see what color to paint the plugs to the Harry suit and it turns out that it was gray. But when I watched it, it turns out that there was ANOTHER yellow disk on the backpack. >___< Yeah. So, I molded that and waited for it to harden. Other than that, I painted the plugs and put glaze on the already-made tubes.
Well, later that day when we were hanging out and chilling, I made some popcorn for myself and decided to eat that while playing Smash Bros. Well, me and my bro "Goku" started to smell something kinda funky. And, as it got stronger over about 50 seconds, we got a little curious as to what it was. So, when we were going into the kitchen to see what it was, I opened the door and got hit with a blast of smoke, to which I quickly shut the door and went, "Maybe we should go the other way." When we went to the kitchen the other way we saw smoke coming from the living room, which is attached to the kitchen. I heard my grandma scream cause, apparently, she saw the smoke cloud lingering in both rooms. Well, "Goku" juts ran in the kitchen and grabbed what looked like a smoke ball and threw it onto the concrete outside and I saw the microwave door open. Turns out that what he threw outside was a bag of popcorn!! O__o My OTHER, moronic cousin who I always call "Satan" had set a bag for WAAAY longer then she should have, and almost burned the house down. WE ALMOST DIED!! Okay, like the title says, no we didn't. But I have been goign around all week and telling her that she did almost kill me. XDD
Tuesday, luckily, there were no near death experiences. XD Actually, I shouldn't say that. We had a lot of rain due to tropical lame-o Alberto. It rained all day around here and we had a few tornado warnings and watches, and a few tornados even touched down near South Carolina's border with us. But, now it's sunny and peaceful, so don't worry. More video games were played among the four of us and I got some playing in on my guitar. I then painted the little disk for the backpack yellow and waited for it to dry before me and "Goku" moved the disks off of where I sew. I wanted to get started on my Katan then, but I didn't have the time.
Wednesday, I played very little video games with them because I wanted to get a jump start on my Katan. First, I put glaze on the little disk thingy for the Harry suit, and then I spent the rest of the day cutting out the fabric for this thing. I modified some of the pattern pieces so that this thing will look more like Katan's suit. I'm using a military Civil War-era pattern, so modification is needed. Today, I'm gonna try to finish my Harry and then work on Katan.
Also, today I have guitar practice with Randi. With luck, I will do well. And hopefully, I can convince my mom to take me to Savannah. I need to get some stuff from Hancock Fabrics and I need to see if The Gospel of Filth: The Black Metal Bible has come out yet. I NEEEDD this book!!!
Okay, since I've run out of Jackass videos until someone puts the second season on YouTube, then I will pull some more out of my hat. This one is one that Living Doll has on her site right now. It's of a news crew covering the Metrocon event that she was at, and she's even in the clip!!! (She's the Rei at the beginning, by the way.) I'm putting this on here as a funny video because this interviewer is kinda funny with some people that he talks with.
Hope you guys like it like I did!!! ^_____^
Okay, you guys WILL NOT BELIEVE that I like the song that I'm recommending today. I think I told Karen yesterday that I called this "70's dance pop alt-rock"! XD It's Head Automatica with "Beating Heart Baby" off their new album "Popaganda". I LOVE this song, and I don't know why. the lead singer goes kinda overboard on the theatrics with singing. He's VERY animated! XDD Anyways, I hope you guys like this video.
Head Automatica - Beating Heart Baby
This week's question: What's one thing that you wish you had right now? (And it has to be a physical thing.)
Last week's question: Black or purple are my favorite colors. Stuff like that.
Well guys, I'll be going now. I'll catch you up on my week on Monday and hopefully I'll have done a lot on my Katan by then. Til next time take care and stay (sic). Comments (4) |

Back Again, It Seems.
Hey, gals (Once again referencing fact that no guys visit my site.). How's it going? Well, so-so for me.
Thursday, my cousins FINALLY left to go home. This gave me some well-needed time to begin doing the last hings I needed to do with the song I'm still working on. Anyone remember the song? Anyone? Good. But, they left so late in the day that I couldn't do anything on it yet. So, I settled by working on my cosplay some more. I began work on the tubes. I cut out some foam to use as a skeleton and then shaped the foam around it so that it would form correctly. I got those done and then called it a day, cause I had to let them harden.
At Randi's, she ...um ... wasn't her usual self. She had recently decided to quit caffeine (sp?) and was VERY tired. Her eyes were like very droopy and she didn't want to get off of the couch that she was on. It was quite humerous to say the least. XD Other than that, I did fairly well. Oh! And while I was leaving, I ran into one of the girls that was part of that four girl group that Randi had me play for a few weeks ago. She just said hey to me and then was like "You're a really good guitar player." I just sheepishly went, "...thanks." ^_^ You know, I don't really think I'm THAT good of a guitar player (Well, at least as not as good as I'd like to be.), but every time I hear someone like Karen, Randi, or even a total stranger say that I play well, it makes me happy. ^_^ So, thanks guys! *GLOMP*
Well, Friday I began the tracking for the keyboard tracks, which is about 5,000 easier than I ever thought it could be. It's coming out sounding excellent! I SOOOOO can't wait to put this on myspace! Also, I got some more done on the cosplay. I painted the tubes a nice yellow and I also made the plugs where the tubes go into the suit. They have to be painted gray, and I didn't have grey paint, so that was bad.
Saturday, I learned two new songs on my guitar for the first time in forever! I learned Cradle Of Filth's "Death Magic For Adepts" and "Lord Abortion". I'm loving playing "Death Magic"!! It's just a good song. Also, I got to see the new 18 Visions video on Headbangers Ball. It's KINDA watered down and poppy, but it is KINNNNDA good. >< Anywho, the show was hosted by someone other than Jaimy, and believe me, he should host all of the time. He ruled! Oh yeah, if anyone's interested, Underoath will be on next week.
Sunday, I practiced over the songs some more before going to Wal-Mart to get the gray acrylic paint I needed and a tube of super glue, because the tubes are starting to crack and, after consulting with Karen on the subject, we have decided that super should fix the problem. After it dries. it'll get a coat of glaze and it'll be finished.
Also, my cousins are back today, which means no music work. I'll be doing lots more on the cosplay to finish it. Hopefully, if I work fast enough, I can start on my Katan today! I hope so! Wish me luck guys.
Okay, I hope you guys liked the exclusive Bam tape last week, cause here's part two!
I can't believe that he actually went through with that! O_O
Okay, I LOVE the video for today and if you don't at least watch this video, then you have ABSOLUTLY NO sense of humor. It's Every Time I Die with "Ebolorama" off their album "Hot Damn!". I don't know why, but for some reason this video SCREAMS roller derby. XDDD I love the freak dancing they do when he's saying "Kill it." It's so ETID! I hope you guys watch this and I hope you guys like it. ROLLIN'!!!!!
Every Time I Die - Ebolorama
This week's question: What's your favorite color?
Last week's question: People would be surprised to know that I'm a big fan of t.A.T.u.
Okay, before I go, I wanted to put up on here three avatars that I've become obsessed with. XDD Okay, let's go!
3. Chibi Rei
2. Walk Off!!!
1. The Despair Faction's Reason For Living!
Okay, now with THAT done, I'll see you guys on Thursday. Leave me loads of comments, guys ... I mean gals. Take care and stay (sic).
Long Review About The Album We've Been Waiting For!! ^_^
Hey everyone. Boy, do I have a post for you today.
Well, Monday my cousins were already here so it killed my guitar and music stuff again. For some reason, I got talked into playing Yu-Gi-Oh with them. COMPLETE waste of my time, especially seeing as how I won. XD After that, we played a lot more video games and did stuff like that until I decided to work on the cosplay some more. I cut out the last foam that I needed and then cut out the fabric for it. I couldn't really get much more done that day so that was it.
Tuesday, I woke up and my cousin's had to annoy me with questions while I tried to learn Dimmu Borgir's "Cataclysm Children". I couldn't take it anymore so I just gave up and had to get my iPod to get them away from me. More games were played before I went to finish up the backpack. I sewed it, packed the foam in, and hand-sewed the top closed. It actually came out a lot better then I thought it would. Then I got my cousin, "Goku", to help put it on my back after I had gotten the velcro on. It looks teh sweet for my first time at it.
Yesterday, I came up here and, for some spontaneous reason, decided to learn the song "Black Metal" by Venom, but I learned the covered version as done by .... do I even need to say it at this point. XD Cradle Of Filth. XD Anywho, that may be the quickest song that I've ever learned! In probably 15 minutes I had it down! After playing MORE video games with them, I went back to start on the last major part of the Harry suit: the tubes. Well, before I could make the tubes, I found out that I need to make the thing on the backpack where the tubes connect to the backpack. So, I did that which took up my day. I did it the same way I did the backpack and it took forever to get that foam packed in. But I prevailed!!!
Then me and my mom went to Wal-Mart. I brought an Angel Sanctuary manga with me to read and also to see what Katan's suit looks like. I was going to get two small belt buckles to use for the belts around his neck. Well, before I got out of the car I got four quarters for a Vault from the vending machines. So, they didn't have the belt buckles, but when I walked past electronics I saw the best thing! THE NEW A.F.I. ALBUM!!!!! INSTANTLY, I picked that thing up and RAN for self-checkout, cause heck if I'm letting a non-A.F.I. fan touch one of their albums! XD Well, I got stuck behind the slowest woman EVER! She only had two items and was so dumb that she bought them seperately. >_< People like that should just go to the normal checkout. Then I got to buy mine and I was stoked because I had a ten and JUST enough ones to get it without using a twenty. Well, when I went to put in the last one, it was the worst conditioned one I've ever seen. >_< It wouldn't take it. So, I had to use the four quarters in my back pocket. So after I had the album, I tried the one on the vending machines. Didn't work. So I went back to the car and got ten dimes. Well, when I was putting them in, I out the last two in at the same time and they got stuck. WHAT THE HELL!??!? So, I hit coin return and got back two quarters and some dimes and used a quarter to try to dislodge it, but it got stuck to. >__________< Well, me being me, I hit the stupid thing and they all fell in nicely. ^__^ YAY! So, I got my Vault, then went to jam to A.F.I.
Okay, here's my review of "Decemberunderground" for those on the site who don't have it. Okay, I'm a MASSIVE fan of their last one "Sing The Sorrow", but this one makes that sound like the biggest piece of trash EVER! It's so fricking awesome! The album starts with "Prelude 12/21" which, if you've seen the director's cut to "Miss Murder", is the creepy ballad at the start. Davey also has a new voice style which I am in love with! It's the "I-think-I'll-sing-like-I'm-in-a-metelcore-band" voice! ^__^ This is not emo screaming like he's done before. These screams mimic something between Brandan from Bleeding Through and James from Eighteen Visions. There are a lot of gothy tracks on here, probably more than on any other album. And believe me, "Miss Murder" is the only song on the album that sounds like that. Everything else either has an ethreal, techno-ish sound or is hardcroe punk. Right now, my favorite song on the album is DEFINITLY "Kill Caustic". Right now, I'm listening to the last song on here, "Endlessly, She Said", for the first time. It's got a nice ballad feel, then goes into a nice traditional A.F.I. sound. Trust me, this album deserves a ten. I can't wait to see the videos for this thing. ^___^ Pick it up now, but in Karen's case I'll just send you a copy for the mp3 player. ^_~ *GLOMPS KAREN*
Now, for today, since the cousins are gone, I'm going to work on this song for the first half of the day and then go into making the tubes. Wish me luck.
Okay, I have a treat for you guys in terms of video. This video has never been shown on television or anywhere else! It's a home video Bam made and edited showing how Ryan Dunn is planning to go over a waterfall in Iceland in a barrel. XDD That Dunn.
This is only part one. I'll have part two next week.
Okay, since I'm on an A.F.I. high, the video this week will be A.F.I. with "Silver And Cold" off their last album "Sing The Sorrow" which I am going to copy for you, K-chan; I just gotta get some packaging and some cases first. This video gives off that depressing feeling the whole way through and the ending was a huge twist for me when I first saw it. I hope you guys like it.
This week's question: What's one band that people would be shocked to know that you like?
Last week's question: The oldest video game that I like to play is Super mario 64 but I haven't played that in forever.
Well, I'll be going now. OH! And I forgot to say that if you get "Decemberunderground" now and get a limited edition one, then the booklet with have the individual profile of one of the band members on it, though you won't know which one you'll get. I got their bassist, Hunter, on mine, and I like him so that's cool. ^^ Rock on, Hunter! Now, I bid you all adieu. Take care and stay (sic). Comments (4) |

I'm So Friggin' Lonely!!!! T____________T
I think the title says it all. I'm so lonely now. T______T Anyways, what's happened?
Wednesday, my cousins came to stay a few nights and visit with us. It seems that as soon as they got here they noticed the old Nintendo 64 that I had had unearthed when Karen was here. So, they began playing Super Smash Bros. and Mario Party 2 on it. XD I must say that I got in on the madness, too, and we have been playing that a lot. I also, gave them some pocky to try. They have become ADDICTED to my pocky!!! O_O I've had to start hiding it it's been getting so bad. And since I haven't had time to play my guitar with them here, I've been finishing my cosplay. I cut out the fabric and interfacing for the rest of Harry's shoes but didn't get to sew them together yet.
Thursday, much of the same, except for the cosplaying. I played more video games with the crew before I had to bail to go to Randi's that night. When I DID get to Randi's, she kept asking about K-chan a lot to me. The conversation went something like this:
Randi: So, where's your friend that was visiting you?
Me: She left. And now I'm sad.
Randi: Aw! I'm sorry. She was super nice, you know.
Me: Aw! Thanks!
Randi: So, what you guys do when she was in town?
Me: Went to both malls in Savannah, went to Summer Waves, went to St. Simons, went everywhere, basically.
Randi: Well, I'm glad you two had a good time.
Then there was this LOOOOOOONG pause ..... and then:
Ranid: So, are you two ...... going out?
Me: Um, ............... yes.
Randi: AWWWW!!!!! Congratulations!
Yes, a rare Randi moment indeed. XD Also, I got mad kudos from her over how well I did this week. It's all basic stuff, but she says she's NEVER had a student go through it that fast. *bragging over* XD
Friday, I played MORE video games with the crew. My heads about to explode now. >____< Ugh! Also, I finished the shoes on my Harry costume! Also that day, I curled my wig some more and now it looks awesome! The LAST things I have to do with the costume are make the backpack, draw some lines and stuff on it, make the tubes, and velcro the yellow disks I made a long time ago onto the suit. I'm so excited.
Saturday, not much happened to talk about. Sunday, I got to cut out the foam for the backpack. I'm going to try to cut out the fabric for it today. And since Karen told me how to make the backpack well, I can't wait to try my skillz at it. XD
Now, anyone remember the egg chalenge episode?
Yes, the eggNOG chalenge!!! XDDDDD
Well, it's time for the recommendation! The recommendation for this week is It Dies Today with a live version of "My Promise" off their latest album "The Caitiff Choir". I love how this song is just so hardcore and brutal the whole way through. It's my favroite IDT song. I hope you like it too.
It Dies Today - My Promise (live)
Now, it's time for a new Band Of The Month!!! The Band Of The Month for June is, of course, It Dies Today. Coming out of Brooklyn, NY (Yes, Brooklyn! NOT Orange County!), these guys have taken the hardcore world by storm with their unmelodic style of brutal breakdowns and technical riffs. But, they also have a super melodic side as demonstrated on songs like "Radience", "Marigold", and "Naenia". Also, I love how they have a SUPER emo look to them, but don't sound ANYTHING like an emo band. XD Here's their lineup:
Nicholas Brooks: vocals
Steve Lemke: bass
Christopher Cappelli: guitar
Mike Hatalak: lead guitar
Nick Mirusso: drums
Also, their albums so far are:
Forever Scorned EP: 2003
The Caitiff Choir: 2004
New Album comes out August 2006
I REALLY hope you guys check out some of their stuff.
This week's question: What's the oldest video game you like to play?
Last week's question: Well, if you read the post last week then you know the answer. ^_~
Now, before I go, cause I've been online for about two hours, here's some pictures of me and Karen from last week. Oh yeah, and I jsut got a photobucket account like an hour ago to do this.
This is us at the taco place. That pic looks sweet, I don't care what you say. ^___^
Okay, from now on, every pic will feature me looking super stupid. Though K-chan still looks cool. ^_~
I least I look semi-normal in this pic. BTW, these were taken at the pier at St. Simons Island. Hence the wind. XD
SNUGGLE!!!!!!!!!
Every time I see Karen do that, I can't help but be reminded of those guys from Pokemon doing that. ^^
The next three pics are of us at Summer Wves and they PROVE that my mom is a stalker! XDDDDD Though she would be good for the F.B.I. XDDDD
Georgia = barren wasteland.
The beach, as taken by my mom.
Okay, the next shots are the FIRST pictures of my cosplay in progress. Please, no bad responses. This IS my first one after all. Thanks must go out to Kren for getting these and for sending the shots to me. *GLOMP KAREN*
And that's the pics. I'll see you guys on Thursday with another update at my life. And Karen, I hope you got back from the convention safe and sound. *GLOMP AND CYCLOPS* Take care and stay (sic). Comments (5) |

I'm Quite Sure That This Was The Best Week Of My Life!!!!! *GLOMPS Karen*
Hey, everyone!! Sorry I didn't post on Monday, but I was too busy hanging out with Karen to post. Also, I'm not posting tomorrow cause I just found out that I have a doctors appointment and I'm not sure when it is. So, what can I say? I had teh best week ever! (Also, if you wanted to know what happened the first few days of her visit, read the below post.)
Well, Thursday we chilled and watched more Fruits Basket. I got to see some more of the characters and have now decided that I have the quintesential Ayamae voice. XDD She then showed me some stuff on her cosplaylab website and then helped me to set up an account. Teh awesoemness!!! We also found another fun thing to do while she was here. Play mini-games in Pokemon Stadium II! I must say, Karen is a beast in Topsy Turvy! ^_^ And we tied so much in Eager Eevee. Okay, I think I lost everybody. XD
Later in the day, we went to go to see Randi for lessons, and yes, I took karen with me to go meet her. I'm pretty sure that Randi liked Karen a lot considering how nice she was to her. Oh yeah! When Randi asked how we had met and I told her that we had met over the internet, Randi's IMMEDIATE response was "Ooooooooooooooooooh!!!" XDD Classic Randinator! Also, she says I'm still doing well and need to keep practicing. After that, we all grabbed something to eat at Zaxby's and me and Karen chilled by just watching some tv before bed.
Friday, we woke up and watched a few more FB episodes before we got something to eat. When we were hungry, we went to a local Huddle House (Only went there because of the good food.) and grabbed a "brunch". We're elite now. XDD Anywho, later that night we had been wanting to go watch a movie and go to Ruby Tuesdays because Karen had a gift card from there that she couldn't use in Florida because they don't have any Ruby's near her. So, we decide that we'd go see "X-Men III: The Last Stand" and go eat afterwards. Well, when we get there, we see that the tickets for X-men are sold out til even the midnight showings. T_T Teh suck.
Well, we figure out that we can go to some shops, eat, then go see "The Da Vinci Code" around 6. First we go to this comic shop that had some good manga and anime dvd selections. After we left there, I took her to this awesome music store I like to show her guitars and stuff. After a quick stop there, we went to Ruby Tuesdays and decided to get three appetizers to eat; one for her, one for me, and one for both of us. We weren't that hungry so we knew we were going to take a lot home with us anyway. Karen used her gift card to pay and we left. Thank you for buying dinner that night, Karen! *GLOMP* fter that, we went and saw Da Vinci. Karen told me that she liked the movie and so did I. It had a gold plot and loads of intrigue. After that, we left and got some shut eye for our big day tomorrow.
Saturday, we got up early and got my mom to take us to Savannah (Yeah, I live near there. My favorite shopping place. XD) and have some fun. First we went to Oglethorpe Mall (sp?) and started shopping. First we went in Barnes & Noble and searched their manga and foreign film section. After not getting anything there, we went to Hot Topic to have some fun. K-chan found a nice black crucifix necklace for herself and a gift of which I will not reveal the contents of for Sakura02, since her birthday is coming up. As for me, I got a pair of goth-like sleeves/gloves, a crucifix nechlace for myself, and I FINALLY got a sweatshirt by Cradle Of Filth that has on the back "Peace Through Superior Firepower". After we put all of our accesories on we went in Hot Topic and FREAKED OUT!! We found pocky, and lots of it!!! Karen got one box of white chocolate mousse and I got two boxes of double chocolate and two boxes of strawberry. After that we went to FYE, but didn't get anything. Mom then took us to Olive Garden so we could get something to eat. Olive Garden: a quaint Italian stereotype (As we kept saying.) XDDDD
Then we went to Hancock Fabrics, where we got the fabric (Which was on discount. YAY!) and pattern for my Katan costume! Karen also gave me the best tutorial on fabrics. Thanks for that, K-chan! *GLOMP* Then we went to Bust Buy, where Karen found the entire second season to "Revolutionary Girl: Utena". I'm so happy that she got to but that! ^__^ Also, in the checkout line, we got called SCAD art students. XDDD Awesome. Then we tried to go down river street, but it was so crowed that we just couldn't. So, then we went to the newer Savannah Mall and went behind it to the movie theater. We FINALLY got to watch the thrid X-men, which if you haven't seen it, why?!?! WATCH IT!!!! And yes, I got to hold hands with her the whole time. *SINKS INTO MEMORY* Ah!!!!
After THAT, we went to the mall and went to the other Hello Cutie where we found not one, but BOTH Outlaw Star soundtracks, which I got for her as a gift! ^_^ After that, we went to this place in the mall that had mini-golf and tied in that. Since it was getting late, we sat down in this little cafe and got a brownie and some drinks. And then, one of the two best things in my life happened. I'm .... in ..... A RELATIONSHIP!!!!! Okay, I'm sorry if I screamed too loud. XD I'm just so happy! ^_____^ Then we went home, snuggled up in a chair and got to watch, I kid you not, Atreyu on Headbangers Ball!!!1 (LOOK AT THE ONE!!!) That was the best night!
Sunday, we went to St. Simon's Island to go check out the sights. We immediatly went mini-golfing there as soon as we could! After that, we found my mom and went to go eat tacos before going to the pier and getting some pictures. After that, we checked out some shops on the boardwalk and talked for a bit. We also went and walked down the beach and had a great time there, too. We THEN went to the mall there and played some arcade games and got a cookie sandwich that we split before we left. After that, we just snuggled up again and watched both of the first X-Men movies on tv before calling it a night.
Monday, we woke up early and decided to go get a Domino's pizza and some cinna sticks (Mmmmm. Cinna sticks!) before we left to go to the Summer Waves water park. When we got down there at like 3:30, it was actually nice weather. We did so many rides when we were there and had a blast. We also did something fun called water glomping! XD You think of it. XDDD After that, we went to Larry's Giant Subs and grabbed some food before coming back to see the third Harry Potter on tv. And, um, while we were watching Potter ...... I .. um ....*nervous twitching* .... GOT MY FIRST KISS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, that was the other best moment in my life! I can die now.
Yesterday, though, Karen had to leave. Before she left, I got to put the Outlaw Star soundtracks on my iTunes and she got to take progress pictures of my Harry costume. I'll post those when she sends them to me. We played soem video games, got some food, and I played my guitar for her some before we had to go to the airport to say goodbye. I got us some snacks while we were there, and after a kiss goodbye, the best week of my life was over. T_________T I miss you so much already, Karen!!!!! *HUGS KAREN*
Well, my cousins are here now, so I can't work on recording. I'll probably cosplay today. Also, I have a doctors appointment tomorrow. Wish me luck with that. And I ALSO have Randi's tomorrow. I think I'll do well, finally. XD Just kidding.
Is it Christmas already!? O_o
Santa Claus has the best times. XD Not as good as my week, though, but you get the point.
Now, for the video this week, I feel that I need to play more creepy videos, so I got the perfect one. It's Cradle Of Filth with "Babalon A.D. (So Glad For The Madness)" off their album "Damnation And A Day". The moral to this story? DON'T open Pandora's Box!!! XD Why not? Well, you might just become one of Dani's slaves, that's why! I've kinda been wary of playing this video for about a year, but I told Karen that I'd play it for her. So, here it is. I hope you guys like it.
Cradle Of Filth - Babalon A.D. (So Glad For The Madness)
This week's question: When was your first kiss and, if you wanna say, who was it with?
Last week's question: My favorite place to eat where I live is our Dairy Queen. ^_^
Okay, I think that this may be my longest post ever! XDDD So, I should stopp typing. I'll post again on Monday. Til next time, take care, I love you, Karen, and stay (sic).
*FAINT* AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey everyone, who hasn't read this in advance. XD Well, I'm feeling VEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERY good! Notice the many "e"s.
Well, Monday I honestly did absolutely nothing but get songs on my iPod and reached the point where I couldn't fit everything on there. >_< Teh suck. But after lots of editing, I managed to conquer my problem. That and I cleaned up a LOT in preparation for Karen getting here on Tuesday, which really required me just washing my dirty laundry. So, that was that.
Tuesday, THE BIG DAY!!!!!!!!! Karen got here at the airport and, well, glompage ensued! XD But, yes, after we got back there was a LOT of Fruits Basket watching. I must say, I'm becoming a HUGE fan of that show. It switches from angsty to funny in like two seconds. XD Good watch. Also, we went to a semi-local (In next town.) pizza place and had some dinner, and I showed her around the town. YAY! After we got back, we got to style my wig a bit, which is going awesome!
Then cam what I'm calling "Teh Marathon". See, we found out that the musical guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live that night was gonna be .......... ATREYU!!!!!!! So, we tried to stay up til like 1 in tha morning to watch it. We tried playing Pokemon board games to stay awake, but we crashed before it came on. Luckily, I got to tape it so we wouldn't miss it.
Wednesday, we got to watch the tape of Atreyu performing, which was sweet! Travis's solo was almost completely muted though, which sucked, but Dan's was killa! We went and got breakfast from a local Dairy Queen, and we both got those good french toast sticks. After that, we tried out the keyboard and played more games. Trust me, Pokemon games just more fun! More Fruits Basket later and then we got to go hang out at the mall. Actually, before we went to the mall, we surprised my cousin by stopping by and glomping him. XDDDD Biggest WTF expression ..... EVER!!!!! XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
Okay. Okay. After that, we went to the mall and stopped in a Pac Sun where we had some definite fun, then we went into FYE where I found the new As I Lay Dying album "A Long March: The First Recordings", which we happen to be listening to now. And yes, Karen's hanging with me now. *faint* *wakes up* Ah! So, then we went to this arcade and spent all of our singles to get tickets to win a fun prize. After that, a very funny incident in a photo booth as it was acting stupid and then we went to go eat.
We got some food at this HEAVENLY, INSANELY ADDICTIVELY GOOD taco place. I love that store!!! After that we went to Books-A-Million where we got some mangas. I got Angel Sanctuary Vol.4 and Hellsing Vol.1 and Karen got Fruits Basket Vol. 11 and 12. After that we came back and tried to stay up, but crashed ... again.
Now, plans for today are to have fun and go introduce her to Randi, since my lessons are tonight. Hopefully, I won't suck. XD
This is an awesome episode, btw. XD
Handsome Jack Hearthrob's stunt is classicly funny! XDDDD
Well, this video may rank with the most gory in existence. XD It's Dimmu Borgir with "Sorgens Kammer Del II" off the re-released version of their debut album "Stormblast". This is a killer new song by them, and the video is so creepy that U.S. television banned it. Maybe it has something to do with rotting Shagrath and them beating and crucifying Silenoz. Hmm. I don't know. XD Anyways, good song and I hope I don't get crappy feedback. XD
Dimmu Borgir - Sorgens Kammer Del II
This week's question: What's your favorite place to eat where you live?
Last week's question: Okay, I have a concept for what I would want. It would be a double sleeve atrwork with the right arm containing all heavenly artwork with, like, light and coulds and angles and stuff. On the underside of the arm would be the lyrics for As I Lay Dying's "Illusions", wich is a big Christian metal song. On the left arm would be lots of fire and demons and evil imagery and under that arm would be the lyrics for Cradle Of Filth's "The Forest Whispers My Name". And they both would sort of meet on the back with like a pictur of and angel and a demon fighting each other in some sort of apocolyptic fued. And that is my vision, whcih I'll only get when I get a band. XD
So, now we're going to go have fun. I'll se ya on Monday. Til then, have fun and stay (sic). *Huggles Karen* Comments (1) |

I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey guys! How do you like my new theme? I saw this background on Friday and became OBSESSED with it! Also, it gives me an excuse to use purple font. XD Tell me what you think, cause I wanna know if I should go back to my old one or stay with this one. Well, my first few days of summer have been going well.
Thursday, I had two tests to do before school was over. I think I did well on both of them, luckily. As soon as I finished them, the first thing I did was grab my acoustic guitar and learn A.F.I.'s "The Leaving Song" on it. The strumming pattern was super hard to get, but I finally learned it. There's nothing that I can't learn with practice! XD But yes, it even has a cool solo in it, so that's nice. Other than that I spent my day on the comp, checking ot sites and other stuff.
Well, at Randi's I ran into these three girls sitting outside of the door. After some mild conversation, I found out that they were waiting for the girl who's lesson are before mine. Well, when that girl's lessons were over and I went inside Randi's "office" (I don't know what else to call it. XD) I heard Randi say "Oh yeah! He's REALLY good. Hey, would play these girls something?" >_< Not what I wanted. So, I grabbed a guitar and played parts of A.F.I.'s "The Leaving Song", the Shadows Fall song I know, and some of As I Lay Dying's "Through Struggle" to appease them. Apparently it worked, as they soon left. XD Randi still says I'm doing well and is gonna give me something new to work on next week, so that'll be awesome.
Friday, I got the BEST graduation gift! An iPod Mini!!!!! WOOOOOOOT!!!! While I am strictly against downloading, I'm not against copying the CDs to an mp3 player, so I'm loving it! Right now, it's got about 616 songs on it and it's only gonna get more, cause I haven't even put all my albums on it yet. XD This things gonna be huge. Also, my cousins wanted me to play dodgeball with them again that day. I think we all know how that went. XD *evil laugh* Also, I'm getting notorious for doing these Matrix-esque moves to avoid thier shots. I'm getting called Neo! XD
Saturday and Sunday, not much happened. I went to Wal-Mart to go look at stuff and help mom shop and that been it. BUt, I'm SOOO happy about what's happening tomorrow!! Karen's coming here to stay for a week!!! A friggin week, I say!!!! ^_^ But yes, I just know that we're gonna have the best time! I'll be sure to get tons of pictures to post, so don't worry! I can't wait to see you, Karen! *HUGGLES K-CHAN*
Okay, even if you don't like Jackass, I'm BEGGING you to watch the first stunt on here. XDD
Johnny in a yoga class is one of the funniest things I've ever seen! It goes on soo long, too. XDDD
Okay, in honor of Karen coming here, I'm playing a video I've been saving for at least six months for a special occasion such as this. It's Cradle of Filth with a live version of "Cruelty Brought Thee Orchids" off their album "Cruelty And The Beast". Cradle sure do know how to do a stage show, don't they? XD I'll say again as I always do, Nicholas's drumming is completly mind-bending! I can't believe a person can drum that fast. Also, this is when my favorite keyboardist ever, Lecter, was in the band. Lecter, to my knowledge, was the only keyboardist to use organ sounds in Cradle songs. You will be missed, Lecter. T_T But, you should check this out. It's a really good song.
Cradle Of Filth - Cruelty Brought Thee Orchids (live)
This week's question: Would you ever get a tattoo and, regardless as to whether you said yes or no to the first question, if you HAD to get a tattoo, what would you get? You MUST answer the HAD one.
Last week's question: I got out of school last Thursday.
Well, I'm gonna work on my iPod some more and practice on my guitar for the rest of the day. You know, I typed this post up this morning, but it wouldn't let me put it in. >_< But, now it's up, so I'm happy. Well, I'll tell you guys how it's going on Thursday. Take care and stay (sic). *HUGS ALL .......... ESPECIALLY K-CHAN* Comments (4) |

MY LAST DAY!!!!! WOOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ^___________^
Hey everyone! I'll explain the rush of adrenaline in a moment.
Well, on Monday, I still had that bad coughing problem that has been plagueing me recently. So, yeah, that didn't feel too good. >_< But, I pulled through. Also, I went back to work on my bass recording. Good news about that. Remember how many times I said I was recording guitar (How could you forget? XD)? Well, I thought that wou;d never end. But, in one day, I got nearly 3/4 of my bass recorded and tracked to where it needed to be. Man, I seemed to be working fast! O_O
Tuesday, I had a lot of tests in my school seeing as how we're approaching the end of the year. They've spaced my tests out between a couple of days, so I have to do some tests one day and some another so that the people taking them don't get strained and stressed. Also, I got ALL the rest of the bass down and recorded!!! YAY!!! Now, there is LITERALLY nothing else to record except Karen's keyboards (Which I'll get when she comes here in FIVE DAYS!!!!!1) and some vocals. So, I'm getting excited.
Wednesday, I had some more of exams. I think I did pretty good on them. But today's what I'm excited about. Today .... IS MY LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!! YYYEEESSS!!!!!! I get to enjoy my summer, finally! I'm so excited! Oh, and also yesterday, I burned a rough copy of the song that I had been working on just so that I can hear where I need to make sound changes and also so that I can start writing lyrics to it. Man, song writing is NOT easy stuff, but it's worth it. I've already got an idea for another song to do. Hopefully, I can actually record that one when Karen's here and get that done, too!!! And, don't worry, K-chan. It's a short song. ^_~ And speaking of Karen, I got to talk her that day!!!! YAY!!!! I had gone a week without calling her and I was DEFINITLY going through stress and anxiety. But all is back to normal! *HUGGLES KAREN*
Well, today I've got lessons with Randi (Imagines the pain and torture he's in for. >_<). I hope I do somewhat of a good job this week. Also, I found out my cousins are coming to visit today, which will hinder my recording project. Oh wait! I'm not recording anymore!! XDDD So, today, I just plan on trying to cosplay some more and I have my acoustic guitar with me to try to learn this acoustic A.F.I. song called "The Leaving Song". It's really beautiful and I wanna learn it now! So, wish me luck at that.
Now, this is one of my favortie Jackass vidoes. You MUST watch this!
Johnny in Mianus is damn hilarious. So is the cell phone and ... um ... Dunn's stunt at the end. XDDDDD
Now, the video this week is a band that is just getting huge right now that I'm gonna help promote, on;y cause I LOVE their music. It's Angels & Airwaves with "The Adventure" of their new album "We Don't Need To Whisper". In case you're wondering, that is Blink 182's frontman and guitarist in the band. I love that ethreal, beautiful guiatr tone to this song. I hope you guys like this band and don't forget to go pick up their album when it drops.
Angels & Airwaves - The Adventure
Also, I got a special treat for you guys. ^_^ Turns out that that A.F.I. vid I showed last time was a shortened version that sucks. Why does it suck? Cause I found an EXTENDED, five minute version that ROCKS!!! It has a beautiful intro at the beginning that I'm guessing is on their new album. I hope it is cause it kicks ass! Here is A.F.I. with "Miss Murder", the director's cut! ^_^
A.F.I. - Miss Murder (Director's Cut)
This week's question: When do you get out of school or when did you get out of school?
Last week's question: My usual breakfast lately has been a few Pop-Tarts! ^^
Well, my cousin's just got here, so I think I'll be going. I know I'm gonna have an awesome day and I hope you, too. Stay (sic). Comments (3) |

Kill Me!!!!! No Wait, Kill Me After May Ends!!!
I have a shitty week to explain to you all. Sit back and hear of my troubles.
Well, Thursday, I wake up and have that same God awful tingling feeling in the back of my throat. And you KNOW that isn't gonna feel spiffy. >_< Well, this only escalated in discomfort when I gained a fever of 100.8. Gggrrrrr!!! Needless to say, I was annoyed by my mom to go to this walk-in clinic to get some medicine instead of going to see Randi. Well, before that even occured, I got in what little recording I could with my guitar. Turns out that I only needed to get one more riff down after that session then I could move to bass!
Anyways, so we went to this clinic, which I did not want to go to! >_____< So, we get in, and mom starts filling out the stuff to sign me up for an appointment. Now for an example of why I say I don't like my mom that much. She overheard one of the nurses talking about they were going to give someone there an injection to fight off TB. TB as in tuberculosis. Well, my mom and a freakin' heart attack and begged me not to go back to see this guy and to leave, due to the fact that she said that if I get it and give it to other family members she didn't want to be hald responsible for their deaths. So, I reluctantly agreed after we had argued about ten minutes there in our seats before I walk out of the place and she follows having cancelled my appointment.
In this said state of rage, and her apologizing like crazy cause she KNEW that I felt like total crap, all I wanted was to go to Randi's (Cause we had time to go.) and have my lesson. Well, we finally went to the lesson and it turns out that randi had a sinus infection (Not contagious, thank God.) After we had our very fruitiful lesson which got my spirits up a little bit, I got to write a quick poem while waiting in the car. I'll try to post that for ya next time. ^_~
The next day, well ...... turns out I have a sinus infection, I think. I mean, I haven't taken anything for a sinus infection all weekend and I fell better now. Not 100% better, but better than I did this weekend. Oh yeah, I also got all my guitar recording down and have now stared on bass recording!!! WOOOTTT!!!! And that's REALLY all I want to discuss that happened lately.
Well, who's ready for another batch of grossness?!
This has some pretty good ones in it.
Well, I got another chapter of my fanfic done and sent out!!! Thankies must go out to Karen for being the ONLY person to review. *glares at everyone else* REVIEW MY FIC, DAMMIT!!!! Man, even Jules is slacking. Hmmph! Well, I'll keep writing even if only one person reads my story.
Now, apparently, every seems to be wanting one video from what I read in last weeks comments. That video ... is ..... A.F.I.!!!!! Well, ask and you shall receive!!! This week, the recommendation is A.F.I. with "Miss Murder" off their new album "Decemberunderground" which drops in stores on June 6, 2006. In case you don't know, that's 6/6/06. XDDDDDD Get it?! Anyways, the visuals in the video are superb and I love that Davey brought that scream back for this song! Jade is still a friggin warlord on the guitar. And btw, usually I post the recommnedation video up at the top of the screen. Well, now I'm posting the videos right here in case you missed a video and still wanna watch it! ^_~ So here ya go!
A.F.I. - Miss Murder
This week's question: What's your usual breakfast?
Last week's question: I wake myself up with an alarm clock and a soda! Mmmm! ^^ Then I get online!
Well, I hope you guys had a better week than I did. Oh well, I have my guitar here, so I'll stay happy! Take care everyone and stay (sic). Comments (3) |

Davey Havok, Will You Bring A.F.I. Down Here!?!??!
Hey everyone. I have some stuff to tell yas, and then again, I don't.
Monday, I guess it would be completly useless to say "Hey, I didn't record today," cause I did. Got a few more down and tired a new mixing process where I streched files and then organized them. For those of you who don't know, doing these songs on a computer is just like making an AMV, just a little more tricky. ^_^ Luckily, I find myself doing very well. Also, before I was about to go on the computer later in the day, I flipped to MTV and saw TRL was on. >_< Bane of my existence = TRL. But ....
A.F.I. WAS ON THERE!!!!!!!!!!
Oh man! I have the biggest love for A.F.I.!!! And they showed their new video for "Miss Murder"!! By the way, that video is awesome!! I was gonna play it today, but I thought you guys would be mad that I din't play your stuff. So, it'll get played on Monday or Thursday.
Tuesday, I got down another riff that I found SOO hard! It's this punk riff that I wrote that had a wierd timing; in fact, the timing was so wierd that I had to play it a different way to get it onto the beat right. The good thing is that the new version of the riff is a lot better sounding. So, that's good.
Wednesday, I woke up with this slight tingling feeling in the back of my throat and thought, "Oh no. Mom got me sick!!!" Man, was I worried. I did everything I could to make sure I didn't have a sore throat. I drank liquids, I gargled salt water (Don't ask. PLEASE don't ask! >_<), I took allergy medicine cause I thought it could be that. I've done everything. It still feels kinda weird but it hasn't gotten worse, so that's good. And, in good news, KAREN GOT TO TALK TO ME!!!! YAAY!!!!! I'm so glad she got some time to call while she's visiting her family. It made me so happy!!!! Oh yeah, and I got more recording. ^^ Luckily, if I can hurry up, I can get either the drum flourishes or the bass down next week!
But, in more important matters, I will be heading to Randi's tonight to go for lessons. Luck will be needed, that's for sure. Also, I have to go visit some distant relatives in the mountains of Georgia this weekend. That. Will. Suck.
Now, who want's some eggs?
Now, who STILL want's some eggs?!? XDDDD
Still writing in my fanfic. It's coming along awesome, btw. I hope to have it up soon.
Now, I'm do NarutoBlackmail's choice for a video today and say that the recommendation this time is Panic! At The Disco with "I Write Sins Not Tragedies" off their album "A Fever You Can't Sweat Out". This video is probably one of the more fun and enigmatic ones I've seen latly. And it has also spurred my obsession with top hats! XD Check them out, I think you'll like what you hear.
This week's question: How do you usually wake yourself up in the morning for a big day?
Last week's question: MISS MURDER!!!!!!
Well, time to go write some more fanficcy! I'll see you on Monday. Til then, adieu, and stay (sic).
~a7s_____~ "Save the whales, motherf***er." XD Animal Liberation Front guy on South Park last night after shooting someone gangsta style! XDDD Comments (5) |
