My Strings Must Be Laid To Rest!
Well hey, everyone! How is your day?

Well, Monday was pretty bland for me. I just did my usual stuff involving school, guitar and random stuff like that. I'm just going over the songs I know now so that I can learn more later or be better at writing my own stuff. I'm gonna try to learn one of my favorite songs next, "Thirteen Autumns and A Widow" by Cradle Of Filth. It's so hard cause it's got all of these pull-offs and hammer-ons and it's like 7 minutes long, but I will learn it. Watch me! ^_^

So, Tuesday, I went to go to class with Randinator and had a great time. I have to learn another Beatles song called "Yesterday" which has a weird chord in it, but I'll get it down. And something weird happened. The kid who comes after me came like 15 minutes early and just sat inside while I had my lesson, and last nioght when my mom got back from hger lesson she said that he asked Randi how long I had been taking and when she said it was shorter than he had been taking, he got scared cause he said I played so well. XDD That at least helps me to know that I'm doing REALLY well. Oh, and my mom moved my lessons to Thursday nights, so Randi updates will be on Monday posts. ^_^ And on Tuesday, I broke another string on my guitar but fixed it in like 8 minutes, and it sounds so much better now.

I got to hang out with my cousins a little bit yesterday. My cousin with the broke arm has had someone draw a skeleton arm on his cast with a break in the bone. XD It looks classic! But, I'm going to get to work on some cosplay and hopefully figure out this computer program tonight.

Okay, well, after much persuasion by a certain someone ^_~, I've decided that I'll still put my poems on here. But not today and not as often. I wanna make them excellent and take some time before I show them off now. So, if I don't put a poem up here, don't panic. Just know that I'm taking my sweet time.

Well, looks like I'll need a funny video as a replacment, huh?

Well, since I talk about him like he can do no wrong, I'm just gonna play a lot of Dane Cook vidoes! Awesomeness now ensues! XDDDDDDD

Well, since the theme for recommendations this week is Bands That You Probably Haven't Heard Of, this week it's Eighteen Visions with "Tower Of Snakes" off of their album "Obsession". This song is pretty wierd for an 18 V song, but it's still awesome.

Speaking of 18 Visions, they're our Band Of The Month! Eighteen Visions began in the new hardcore capital of Orange County, California, and have become pretty popular to those who know them. They've had a VERY diverse line-up throughout the years, including members from Bleeding Through and Throwdown. With a new album coming out later this year, all I know is that we can expect loads more from them. While they have countless EPs out, these are their big albums to look for:
Vanity - 2002
Obsession - 2004
Eighteen Visions (self-titled) - later this year
Check these guys out, cause they so don't get the credit that they deserve.

This week's question: Have you ever been complimented in something?

Last week's question: Well, since I already have someone who I'm in love with, I guess what attracts me to her is her personality, the fact that I've NEVER gotten along with someone this well, and, well, she's just so snuggly and cute. ^___________________________________________^

Well, pray for me so that I can learn this Cradle song soon. I just want to either learn it or hurry up and write some songs. Well, take care and stay (sic).

   Don't ........ Get ............ Near .............. Me!
Okay, so I didn't have the best week ever.

Well, Thursday I got to hang out with my cousins for the day and spent the night with them after we went to a Huddle House and messed around with my camera phone and played "truth or dare" which led to them trying out french fries with syrup, sugar, and barbecue sauce. I have the STRANGEST family. >_< Then we went home and I cosplayed some. Got some of the velcro attachments on there, but it turns out that I'll need lots more.

Friday, I just lounged around most of the day. I've learned a lot of new songs this week. I learned "Through Struggle" and "94 Hours" by As I Lay Dying", "A Gunshot To The Head Of Trepidation by Trivium (Except the solo. I don't know that yet.), and "Desire In Violent Overture" by Cradle Of Filth. So, I would say I'm getting better. That Trivium song is so hard, but it's givien me lots of ideas for writing songs. By the way, Karen, just ask and I'll play them for ya later today. ^_^

Saturday, .................. If you bring up Saturday to me, I'll hate you. >____________< It was not a good day. And I'll leave it there.

Well, at least today, will be good cause I get time to practice. And I get to see Randi tomorrow for my lesson. I've learned that Beatles song to the point where it sounds decent. Now I just have to remember the chord structure. But, hopefully, this week will be better.

Also, next month, the recommendations are all going to be bands that you probably haven't heard of who I think deserve a LOT more press then they get. Also, I'm thinking about not putting my poems up here for certain reasons. I mean, I have no problem writing them, it's just I wonder if I shoudl put them up here. I might just play AMVs or other funny vids in there place.

Speaking of funny vids, time for me to place a new one up here.

I figure with everyone on this site talking about "Charlie and The Chocolate Factory" so much, I might as well do something to get in the action. XDD

Now, seeing as how this is the last dedication of the month, I want to end it on a Band Of The Month high note. So, this is Atreyu with "Her Portrait In Black" off the "Underworld: Evolution Soundtrack" and soon to be off of their new album "A Deathgrip On Yesterday". This song made me think of my Valentine the second I heard it. And, since you guys have probably gotten sick of hearing about my emo rants lately about my crush, I'll shut up ......... for now. ^____^

This week's question: In a guy or girl, what would be the number one thing that you would look for? (Don't think I'm trying to come onto anyone. Just a good, random question.)

Last week's question: I would so want to learn Cradle Of Filth's "Bathory Aria", but it's like 11:00 minutes long and I can't find the time.

Well, I'm going to go cry in horror ovr what happened on Saturday. Bye for now and stay (sic).

Hey, Remember That Time? Yeah. That Was Awesome! XD
Well, uh, I'll try to remember all that went down this week.

First I guess I should start with Randi. I went there and, to my surprise, I'm the first person in her class to begin learning an actual song. I have to learn "Hey Jude" by The Beatles. It's pretty easy since it's all mainly chords, but it's a little tricky. I played it fairly well when I was there so it shouldn't be that hard. Just wish me luck and remind me to ask her about the drummer again. XD

Well, also on Tuesday, I began learning my hardest metal song to date!! I'm now learning "Through Struggle" by As I Lay Dying. I seem to like lots of their songs because of the way they arrange their music. It seems pretty cool and I REALLY love that song. Wish me luck on the learning process.

Bad news, though. I broke the top string on my guitar yesterday when playing "Progenies". T____T Not to worry, though. I re-strung it and it looks spiffy. Problem is that it keeps coming out of tune the whole time. But, as soon as I wear it out, it'll stay in tune. So don't worry, guys!

Haven't gotten much cosplay done, but I plan on it soon. I might get some done this week, but don't count on it. And I have to go to a doctor on Saturday for ... allergies, again. T_T At least I'll get to go mallhopping.

I got the best video this time!!!!

This is part one and two to the Viva La Bam episode with Dani Filth on it, featuring a performance from the band!!!!!!

Well, the video this time is the new one I was talking about last time! It's As I Lay Dying with "The Darkest Nights" off their album "Shadows Are Security". The video is not getting dedicated, it's the song. It means more. Though that video is coursing with coolness. ^___^ Hope you guys like it.

This week's question: If you could learn one song, which one would you want to learn?

Last week's question: My favorite cover song is Iron Maiden's "Hallowed Be Thy Name" covered by Cradle Of Filth.

Well, I gotta go. Take care all of you Otaku minions and stay (sic).

Damn Destitute, Devilish, Demonistic, Dastardly, Dentist.
Okay, so I had a strange President's Day weekend.

Thursday and Friday, I spent the majority of my time trying to write this darn song. It seems to be coming along well, but it doesn't sound exactly like I want it to. And to make things worse, this program I got acts like it doesn't have a program for drum machines in it. That is a major blow! >___< I'm still trying to figure it out, but I may need a slight break to stay the slightest bit sane. Oh, and I heard the new Atreyu song "Exs and Ohs" (For those who don't know, Atreyu are the greatest band to ever exist. Make sure you remember that when they take over the world.). It is INCREDIBLE!!! I'm so getting their new album!!

Also on Friday, I did some cosplay. The armor is a pain to sew, but that mainly cause of all the straight pins I have to use to hold things down. XD Other than that, it's coming along just great. Oh, I may have to cut it up at one point, and that could get a little ...... iffy. Don't worry, I don't think I'll mess up too much. Oh, and I FINALLY ordered my wig after 6 months of waiting!!!!! WOOOOOOOOT!!!!!!!!!!! ^____^

Saturday, I went to the mall to just chill and see if I could find anything useful in terms of musical instruments or find some cool anime stuff. I didn't find anything regarding anime, but I did find the old It Dies Today EP "Forever Scorned". It so gets a 10!! That album is a DEFINING hardcore album in every way!!! Get it!!!

Then yesterday, I had to go to the dentist for some BS that that quack wanted to do. It doesn't help that he looked damn horrifying hovering over me working on my teeth. But, I made it out alive ............ thank God. Then I went back to the mall, but I didn't really get anything. And that's been my week pretty much. Just gonna try to get ready for Randi's lesson today and see what happens.

Oh my God!!! Do I have a video this time! XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

Yeah, they are that retarded! XDDDDDDDDDDDDD

Well, time for more belated dedications (even though Valentine's Day was over a week ago). I've been DYING to play this one since Halloween!!! It's It Dies Today with their cover of Depeche Mode's "Enjoy The Silence" off of the "Masters Of Horror Soundtrack" and soon to be off the re-released version of "The Catiff Choir". This song is so awesome that I don't even care if it's that heavy. And you know what? I know I'm gonna take a lotta crap for saying that this sing is cool, but you know what? I don't care. I like it, and I'm dedicating it to my sweetheart. SO THERE!! *raises hand in triumph* Man, that was ...... wierd. XDD

This week's question: What's your favorite cover song?

Last week's question: I have never broken anything ... except picture frames. XDD

Well, I gotta go. You all remember to still be rockin on. I can remember a time when my posts weren't typed up in this short of a time. Ah, nostalgia cosumes my soul. XDD Well, take care and stay (sic).

   What Happened This Week?
Well, um, to be honest, I'm kinda lost on what happened this week. But I'll try to remember.

Well, on Monday, I kinda just did my usual thing by hanging around, talking on the phone, and going to school, which has been pounding me with tests. GGRR!!! Man, do they think that these tests are going to help me, cause right now I feel like I wanna jump out of a second story window. XD "Now, now. Save the near-death thoughts for later." Okay! Well, I think it's over, but hopefully if it's not I can keep up the constant pressure.

Then, Tuesday, Valentine's Day got here!!! Man, this is actually the first Valentine's Day ever that I had an ACTUAL Valentine!!! ^____^ I'm so glad that the person I wanted to be mine said yes! But aside from the mushy-gushy, I got some cosplay done after school. I cut out the interfacing and silver fabric for my armor on the Harry suit. It looks pretty good, but I MIGHT go and trim the edges to the interfacing some more cause it does look rather pathetic right now. Don't worry, though. I should get to sew it soon.

Then, I went to guitar with Randi. Once again, another eventful day. I can't believe she says I'm that good. Here's what happens nearly every time we have a lesson. I show her what I did last week, then she shows me something new, then we spend 20 minutes just playing that over and over jamming. IT RULES!!! But, after the lesson, I got to talk to my Valentine. Even if it WAS in a Wal-Mart parking lot, it meant something to me. *sigh* This was the best Valentine's Day EVER! ^___________________^

Oh yeah, and my mom is now taking lessons from Randi. My prediction: she will quit before April! XD I'll let you know how that turns out.

Yesterday, I began writing a song for this program that I bought on my birthday! I'm writing it on paper, too, so that's really time consuming. If I get it up really well, then I'll put it on me and Karen's band's MySpace so you guys can hear. Still need more band members though. T____T

Well, my cousins are coming tomorrow, so that's cool. And, I don't know if I mentioned this, but one of my cousins broke his arm last week (Being hyper. XD). So, I'm going to sign his cast when I see him. It's always been something that I wanted to do in the back of my mind, but I ALWAYS have wanted to sign a cast! And Monday, I have a dentist appointment. T__T Wish me luck. I'll need it.

In terms of stupid video, I think you'll find this one VEEEERRRRYYYY pleasing! ^________^

My FAVORITE Viva La Bam episode EVER!!!! The scavenger hunt!!!!!!!!

Now, even though Valentine's Day is over, I'm STILL running the dedication thing to people's Valentines all month. Why? Um, because I can!? XD And, since no one bothered to give me another one, I'm sending another one out to my Valentine! This song SOOOO relates to us!!! ^____^ It's The Starting Line with "Leaving" off of their album "Say It Like You Mean It". This song, in my opinion, describes us PERFECTLY!!!! Especially that one line "Taking our sweet times saying our goodbyes / One minute more". Hope you like it, cutie! ^_~

This week's question: Have you ever broken a bone?

Last week's question: Yeah, I got a Valentine, and if you have been paying close attention then you won't need me to tell you.

Well, I gotta go cause, to be honest, I've rambled on long enough for this post. Wish me luck with my dentist appointment. Oh! One more thing! I'm officially a member of the Raptors. RAWR! Yes, it is awesome. If you want to know how to get in, PM me, Living Doll, Spades Ace, or Sakura02 and well, be prepared to get in. ^_^ Okay, I REALLY need to eat before school so take care, hope you all have a good President's Day next Monday, and stay (sic).

~a7s____~ It's like ...... *DOOOOOOO* ........ and there's the ghosts.

   Saturday = Hell Day!
Yo, everyone. How's it going?

Well, first I wanna say thank you to everyone who got me an e-card!You guys are teh best for remembering my birthday. Here's what they got me:

This one from Living Doll. Man, the humor just flows between us, huh? XD Thank you so much, Karen.

Here's the one Miyoko-chan sent me. I REALLY like this one cause she added the end theme to Outlaw Star on it. Thankies!

This one amaya night raine got for me. Simple and cute. Thanks!

Now to my week. Well, Saturday I went to town to spend my money and, man, was that a chore. First was Best Buy where I got a computer program to record songs on my comp with. Then I went to a guitar store and bought an acoustic guitar and a performance mic. After that I went to the mall and bought a funny shirt and a COOL Dani Filth-like ring and Hot Topic. The ring rules, btw. Then, at FYE, I got three abums. One: Dimmu Borgir's "Death Cult Armeggeddon" which I give a nine. Two: Killswitch Engage's "The End Of Heartache" which get's an eight. Three: Atreyu's "Fractures In The Facade Of Your Porcelean Beauty EP" which I give a ten. ^_^ Get them now!

After that we went to another mall where me and my mom ate at a Ruby Tuesdays. Mom noticed my new ring and, to put it nicely, flipped her shit. XD It was so funny to look at her look at me. After that, I went to the Target there and got the OLD Fall Out Boy CD which gets a nine. Then I went to Waldenbooks and snagged volumes 2 and 3 of Angel Sanctuary and volume 5 of Rurouni Kenshin. I've already read both of the AS mangas so I know what to get when I go back. ^_~

Now, I just have to practice for Randi tomorrow and I'll be psyched. But this comp program is bitching with me and I REALLY just wanna throw it against a wall. And I'm gonna try to cosplay soon, like tomorrow or something. Wish meh luck.

Now, what's a good Jackass video for today?

Yes, no shit!!! THAT'S Brad Pitt!! I'm not kidding!! THAT'S BRAD PITT!!!! XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

Now I got a dedication for Valentine's day from tohru487. I don't know who she's dedicating this to, but I'm not gonna ask. Anyway's the song is Aaliyah and DMX with "Back In One Piece". Here you go, tohru487. I hope you like it.

This week's question: Do you have a Valentine for Valentine's day and, if so, do you mind telling us who it is?

Last week's question: The best gift I've ever gotten in terms of sheer dollar amount was a PS2. The best gift I've ever got in terms of how much it means to me is ...... well ....... she knows. ^_^

Well, Happy Valentine's Day to you all! Don't be afraid to go out on the town with the one you love, do what you like, and then suck face in public. XD Sorry, I just had to say that. But really, I hope you all have found a Valentine for tomorrow. And if anyone is trying to come after me as a Valentine at the last minute, sorry. I'm taken. ^_^ Well, I'll see you on Thursday. Take care, don't forget to leave more deications all month and stay (sic).

Go A7S!!! GO A7S!!! It's My Brthday!!! It's My Birthday!!!
Yes, people. It's my birthday!!! I'm 17 years old and loving it!!Man, I just realized how old 17 is. It's that point where you're like being able to do more cool things because of how old you are, but you have to stop doing things that you liked because, now, you're too old. It's like a weird transition period, but hey! I'll make the best of it! ^_^ And I can't wait to see if I get e-cards. If I do, I'll post ALL of them in the next post.

Well, Monday was kinda boring. At the end of the day, though, I did find a cool website that had tablature for metal songs on it, so I printed off the As I Lay Dying song "Confined" and the Cradle Of Filth song "Thirteen Autumns and A Widow". I have yet to learn the Cradle one, but I learned the ENTIRE AILD song and can play it fairly well, I hope.

Tuesday, I came back to that site and learned more songs. This time I learned Cradle Of Filth's "Cthulhu Dawn" and Dimmu Borgir's "Progenies Of The Great Apocalypse". COF was SOOOOOOO hard, but I can play both of those now! And I went to class with Randi. She helped me find a program to record songs on my computer with for me to look for on Saturday and we joked around and played guitar. I think I had another awesome lesson. Still, though, no drummer has been found. T_T She says she won't give up, though. That's good.

Wednesday, I got cosplay done by finishing the pattern for the armor to my suit. Harry's battle armor should be in the beginning stages next week so I'm happy for that. And my petal gave out on batteries that day, so, yeah. But I did get a birthday present in the mail from a special someone *wink, wink* that totally rules!!!

Thursday, I fixed my petal and learned ANOTHER song. This time it's Cardle Of Filth's "Summer Dying Fast". I've learned everything but the solo, and it's driving me insane!!!! But, I think I'll be learning a lot more song to test myself.

Now, Saturday, I'm going to town and spending nearly every cent I have except for the money I need for my wig. Hopefully, I'll order that before the month is up.

Now, what funny video should I play today? Oh, I know!

Yes, more Jackass! This may be one of the funniest stunts they did with each other!

Now, last week, tohru487 gave me a recommendation, which I will play, but I want to finish out this week before I play her's. So, next week, I will play your dedication tohru487!!! But this week, another vid for my Valentine! I think she'll remember this one! It's Atreyu with "The Crimson" off their album "The Curse". I could have played this video back in April but have been saving it ALL this time just for today!!! The best video off of "The Curse", it has that wierd vampiric style to it. And they break things, and who doesn't like breaking something?! So, here you go, Valentine! Oh and one more thing! *hugs* ^_~

This week's question: What's the best birthday gift you've ever got?

Last week's question: The highest level of rudeness I've ever seen was by some jackoff who picked on me one time while I was in the 8th or 9th grade (can't remember right now). He threw crap at me and never got noticed by anyone but me, when it struck me in the temple. Needless to say, I'm glad I NEVER have to see that living, breathing asshole ever again! ^_^

Well, I gotta go. Have a great time, cause I know I will! Take care and stay (sic).

Darn, I Get Worn Out When The Cousins Are Here.
Hey, everyone. How's it going?

Well, Thursday not much happened. I got to hang out with my usual cousin crew for like a few minutes before I went to Walmart to do some trivial stuff that you don't want to hear about. Oh! But I did get pizza that night! YAY! So, yeah. Same thing happened on Friday. I really haven't gotten much practice for guitar in this week, but Randi taught me something easy so I'm not scared of it.

On Saturday, my Albany cousins got here and I spaent the day getting my face stomped in by my cousin in NCAA baseball for Xbox. I should not play him in that ....... ever. Then we had our birthday parties and we all got money. HAHA!!!! After the parties, we went to Huddle House because my cousin was begging for steak and that's the only place here where he know about steak. XD

So, after that, we came home and me and him watched Dane Cook on Youtube while I was on the phone to Karen. While on he was trying to find out if a Gamestop in the next town was selling Xbox 360s. He kept getting info and calling them to ask and whenever they said "no", he hung up on them. XD So rude.

But, aside from the grotesque manners of my cousin, me and karen did talk .. and we made a band website on myspace for our band. Sadly, it is just us. XD But we did put a thing on there for other people to contact us if they want to be in. Check us out at www.myspace.com/astheband. And yes, we are naming our band Angel Sanctuary! We got the idea because I heard that some bands named themselves after books, so I thought "Why not a manga?!" Hopefully, we will get members soon. Oh, and you can check out my area, see what I look like finally, and check out my friend, Michael (who is my former guitar teacher) and his band, Engaged In An Open Casket Standoff. They kick yo momma's ass! XD

Well, another funny video please!

And now, ladies and gentlemen, the most classic Jackass stunt of all time!!!! The shopping carts!!!!

Well, the song THIS TIME goes out to my valentine (by the way, I'm STILL looking for Valentine's dedications from you guys. You can even just dedicate to family, friends, the school bus driver, anyone). It's It Dies Today with "Severed Ties Yield Severed Heads" off of their album "The Caitiff Choir". While it might not sound like a romantic type song due to the 'severed heads' part, it is, trust me. I love that breakdown on this song and how right before it, there's a small synthesizer line. Listen close, it rules!

This week's question: What is the highest level of rudeness you have ever seen in your life?

Last week's question: My favorite meaningless holiday is Halloween!

Well, I'm not goingto post again until Friday, cause that's my birthday! I'll be 17, people!! I can't wait to see if I get any e-cards! *wink, wink* Well, I gotta go. I'm gonna check out my myspace. Til the time when I am older, stay (sic)!

~a7s____~ Last post as a 16 year old! ^______^ WOOT!

   Happy Groundhog Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, it's Groundhog Day. The day when in some God-forsaken Pennsylvania town they pull Punxsutawney Phil (Yes, that is the groundhog's name. I saw the Viva la Bam episode where they dedicated the whole episode to Groundhog Day. Novak getting kicked in teh balls was so fuuny! XDDD) out of his hole and see how long winter is going to last. Enjoy this day people.

Now, before I get to my week, I wanna mention something. I just went to Tristan (Spades Ace for those who don't look at my friend's list) and found out that he is going through some personal angsting issues and he's just down right sick with a cold, and we all know that that's no fun. So, I'm telling you guys to go give him some comforting words and pray for him. Do it now! He doesn't deserve a cold with Metrocon so close!

Okay, so this week. God, if my school doesn't stop giving me tests I'm going to go insane. I've had one test every day since Monday and I'm pretty sure I've got another one today. T__T It sucks. But the good thing is that I have been doing superb at them all so far. Hopefully this will keep up and I won't suck on my next one.

Yes, ladies and gentlemen! It's big! It's bad! It plays acoustics of a very country nature! It's the Randinator! Well, Randi was pleased with my ability this week. Still teaching me new stuff to play. No new drummer yet, but it's great that she's looking. Oh, and she took a Benadryl (sp?) during the lesson for her allergies and kept almost dozing off during the lesson. It was so funny!

My cousin's came over on Tuesday, which led to me being throughly annoyed with the screaming and constant eating of Chex Mix all day. I swear all they do is eat, eat, eat, and this is how their weight plays out: 13 year old cousin - annorexic. 12 year old cousin - very skinny. 8 year old cousin - Volkswagon. Yeah. Oh! And I forgot to mention that my 12 year old cousin's (who doesn't want me to use his name so we'll call him Gandalf cause he's a LOTR fan) birthday was on Sunday. I should have mentioned that. And they are coming later today after I get out of school, so yeah.

Oh, speaking of cousins, my two cousins from Albany are coming this weekend for a birthday party. We're having the 12 and 8 year old cousin's above and my birthday party at the same time. In case you don't know, Gandalf's is January 29, the cat lover's is February 12, and mine is February 10. I hope I get good stuff (Oh come on. I know I'm gonna get money to go spend. XD) But anyway, I know hijinks will happen with us all under one roof. So, if you're on AIM late Saturday night, hit us up.

Oh, and I got some cosplay done, though VERY little. I drafted part of the pattern for the armor part to my Harry suit. It's going somewhere at least. And I'm going to order my wig soon, along with the last Cradle album I need.

Now sadly, since this is my birth month, I'm taking February off in terms of writing poems. But I will fill up that slot by putting in videos from YouTube. Here's the first one:

Who else but Bam to start my favorite month?!

Now, the first video for my favorite month? Obviously my favorite band! It's Atreyu with "Right Side of the Bed" off their album "The Curse". This song is so awesome, but the video is beyond cool. Solos, concert footage, and gothic wear = TEH BEST! Also, don't forget that I'm still opening that dedication thing to anyone who wants to get in on it. It's open from now til the end of the month. Btw, if I'm not playing someone else's video, all of my videos go out to my valentine, though not this one cause it's a break-up song. XD So, all OTHER videos go out to my valentine. There, that was worded correctly.

Now it's time for a new Band Of the Month! And, yeah, it's Atreyu. These guys have been rocking the screamo scene in Orange County, California, for years now until they released thier first album on Victory Records. Since their second album came out in 2004, they've beem getting lots of attention, especially for their combination of hardcore and melodic music and screams and singing. Their albums are as follows:
Suicide Notes and Butterfiy Kisses - 2002
The Curse - 2004
A Deathgrip On Yesterday - slated for relaese this March
PLEASE check out Atreyu if you haven't already. And believe me, I will run you over to get that new album!

This week's question: What's is your favorite meaningless holiday? (Groundhog Day, Arbor Day, Flag Day, etc.)

Last week's question: Longest phone call was last Saturday with Karen. I swear at point I was going, "You know, this doesn't seem like four hours."

Well, I gotta go just goof around and be a loser. Oh, one more thing! I heard that all day tomorrow, a virus is going to be released on the computer that will infect any computer online. If it gets in your comp, it will destroy any info in your hard drive and make it USELESS to use ever again. So, I'm telling you guys to warn you. Don't use your comp, cause I'm not either. It will be gone by Saturday, so it'll be cool then. So, til next time, pray for Tristan, if you wanna dedicte, do it, and definitly stay (sic).

P.S. I forgot to mention that that part of the poem last week was NOT written by me. It was written by Karen cause I like her writing style and it was badass. Thanks, Karen! ^_^ Oh, and I just heard that Punxsutawney Phil has seen his shadow! That means six more weeks of winter. WOOT!

4 Hours!!! 4 Hours!!! Dane Cook!!! =!!! God!!! XD!!!
Okay, dumbest title ever, but it rules, so yeah. So, how's your week been? Mine's been pretty good actually.

First, let me address something. If any of you went to Living Doll's site, you know that someone told her that coloring on the computer was cheating. Well, sadly, that was me. And this morning, I went to her site and looked at her comments and ... uh ... yeah, I am hated! Well, I wanted to clarify. I'm so sorry I said that. I've colored some things on the comp and I know it's hard. I never should have said that. I just hope none of you guys hate me and I hope you can forgive me, LD-san. I meant it as a joke and it wasn't meant to be taken seriously. Just don't hate me. T_T

Well, on to better things. On Friday, I wrote an entire new song. It's pretty short and fast because it has no black metal influence in it whatsoever. It has more of a hardcore feel with a little bit of traditional metal thrown in. I love mixing the styles. Hopefully, you guys will hear it one day.

Well, on Saturday, I missed the Ball COMPLETELY!!! But I did talk to Karen on the phone for, let's see. Carry the four, divide by five, peel the banana, OH YEAH! Four hours!!! It was awesome! We even got my cousin on a chat room with us and bad mouthed to her about Laguna Beach! XDD AWESOMENESS!!! She even got to hear the song, and gave me a good review, so I'm happy someone likes it.

Oh yeah, I got no cosplay done. I'm trying, really. It's just that I don't have that much time anymore.

Oh yeah. Next month is February and that means one thing: Valentine's Day! So, all of the videos will be sappy love songs. Don't discriminate! And, if any of you want to dedicate a video to a special someone or a valentine, tell me and I will GLADLY play the video for you. Just ask me any time in February and I will play it.

Now, the last piece of the mega poem!

The scorners look down with surprise
To our earthen tomb
To realize too soon
That our existence now lies in the purpled skies.

A gallon of blood, a glass of spite, and an ounce of hate
Such vile poison rains on them
In this funereal parade.
But for you, my dear,
I give only my best,
As we embrace one last time
In our eternal rest.

But the sunlight is much warmer here
And puts our cloudy world to shame.
The overcast brilliance that we’d come to love and despise
Is absent in the wake of their demise.
The sea shone red and the sky fired stars
And the abyss above
Was solely ours.
Hate was not a tangible thing in that world of the past
And neither was love.
But here we can reach it
With the aid of crystalline wings
And soar above.

We could be locked in that box for all I care,
For we’d still be flying free.

No, I wouldn’t mind at all,
For you would be locked away with me.

There! It's done! I hope you guys really lik ethat part, cause I thought it kicked so much ass!

Now, since it's the end of the month that means I'm going to play another song from the Band Of The Month, As I Lay Dying! So, here's As I Lay Dying with a live performance of their song "Undefined" off of their album "Frail Words Collapse". Tim, my hero, is doing his thing as always. And Phil is playing that guitar so good. Watch at the very end and look at the dude who climbs out of the crowd and grabs Clint's mic and sings the last part of the song. So cool!

This week's question: What the longest you've ever talked on the phone?

Last week's question: One funny thing I've done that I slightly regret is jumping into a hotel smimming pool in October, when it was fourty degrees!! Not smart! XD I caught a horrific cold the next week! XDDD

Well, I gotta go. Hope you guys like the last part of teh poem and teh super awesome video. Til next time, happy trails and stay (sic).
