   Not A Very Productive Weekend.
Well, hey everyone! How's it going?

Well, on Thursday I didn't get to record anything seeing as how my cousins were here (But if you read Thursday's post, then you know that already.) So, I passed time that day by playing dodgeball with them. XD Well, since it had rained the night before, they PURPOSLY got the ball muddy and soaking wet and said that we're playing "extreme dodgeball". Lucky me, I had to be the first one in the square. >< I'm happy to say I went for about 20 minutes without being hit. After I did get hit by Goku (If you don't understand the name, go down a few posts.), I let him have it. XD

I did get to go to music that day. Well, when I got there, I saw the drummer dude run in there like ten minutes before my lesson, then he comes right back out a minute later, hops in his mom's car, and they leave. T__T Needless, to say that I didn't see him for the rest of the day. The lesson did go well, though. Got some nice compliments from Randi which always make me happy. I just hope I do that well this Thursday.

Friday, I FINALLY got around to recording! I got like the first two riffs slapped on there and edited it to the point where it sounds like a cruddy demo that you'd find in a basement in Norway. XD But, I also had some tests in school that day. Man, I've been having a lot of those latly. With my end of the year coming up, I'm getting swamped with all of this work for finals. No rest for the weary, I suppose.

Saturday, I got some good stuff done. I got more recording done in the form of the most confusing riff I've ever made. After that, I did some cosplay making the silver things for the feet. That was cut short because I realized that I ran out of adhesive velcro. T_T WAH! Velcro! Oh yeah, and that morning when I went to Dairy Queen to snag some breakfast, the person taking my order mistook me for a girl! T__________T Sweet vengance will be exacted upon her. I mean, I don't sound like a girl, do I?

Well, moving on. Sunday, I lounged around on the internet for WAY too long! XD I did get one riff down and recorded, so don't worry. But a lot of my time was spent at a website I haven't been to since about this time last year: Ebaumsworld.com!!!!! ^________^ That is the best site. I'm thinking about putting some links to their vids up on here after I run out of Jackass videos!! Oh yeah, and I got some ice cream from Dairy Queen yesterday (Thank God the same girl did NOT take my order.). But, the girl who did take my order, when I looked at her hand, she looked like she had this red blood coming off of it. Then when I looked closer and got a better angle, I saw that it was a wierd middle-eastern tattoo on both of her hands. She was middle-eastern and gotten one of those cool 3-D tattoos that I had never seen. I don't know why I mention that. Just thought it was cool.

Well, if more Jackass is what you want, more Jackass is what you'll get!

Now, each episode is split into parts, so you'll get the next part this Thursday.

Now, the recommendation for today is a good one! It's Bleeding Through with a live version of "Savior, Saint, Salvation" off their album "Portrait Of A Goddess". Brandan gets MAJOR energetic when he starts perfroming, and I do mean MAJOR!!! This song is so cool though, btw. I hope you guys like this video.

Well, since it's May, it's time for a new Band Of The Month! This month it's Bleeding Through, the kings of Orange County hardcore! They combine brutal hardcore breakdowns, insane death meatl blast beats, and even gothic keyboards! They've gone through a few line up changes, but they are still destroying even until today. Their members are:
Brandan - Vox
Scott - Guitar
Brain - Guitar
Ryan - Bass & very sweet flips XD
Derek a.k.a. Deebo - Drums
Marta - Keyboard
Up until now, they've released three albums. They are:
"Portrait Of A Goddess" - 2002
"This Is Love, This Is Murderous" - 2003
"The Truth" - 2006
Check them out if you haven't already heard of them. I know you'll love them.

This week's question: Do you ever get mistaken for something you aren't?

Last week's question: I've been on MyO for one year!

Well, I hope you guys had an awesome week. I'll be back on Thursday with more recording updates. Until then, take care and stay (sic).
