I'm So Friggin' Lonely!!!! T____________T
I think the title says it all. I'm so lonely now. T______T Anyways, what's happened?
Wednesday, my cousins came to stay a few nights and visit with us. It seems that as soon as they got here they noticed the old Nintendo 64 that I had had unearthed when Karen was here. So, they began playing Super Smash Bros. and Mario Party 2 on it. XD I must say that I got in on the madness, too, and we have been playing that a lot. I also, gave them some pocky to try. They have become ADDICTED to my pocky!!! O_O I've had to start hiding it it's been getting so bad. And since I haven't had time to play my guitar with them here, I've been finishing my cosplay. I cut out the fabric and interfacing for the rest of Harry's shoes but didn't get to sew them together yet.
Thursday, much of the same, except for the cosplaying. I played more video games with the crew before I had to bail to go to Randi's that night. When I DID get to Randi's, she kept asking about K-chan a lot to me. The conversation went something like this:
Randi: So, where's your friend that was visiting you?
Me: She left. And now I'm sad.
Randi: Aw! I'm sorry. She was super nice, you know.
Me: Aw! Thanks!
Randi: So, what you guys do when she was in town?
Me: Went to both malls in Savannah, went to Summer Waves, went to St. Simons, went everywhere, basically.
Randi: Well, I'm glad you two had a good time.
Then there was this LOOOOOOONG pause ..... and then:
Ranid: So, are you two ...... going out?
Me: Um, ............... yes.
Randi: AWWWW!!!!! Congratulations!
Yes, a rare Randi moment indeed. XD Also, I got mad kudos from her over how well I did this week. It's all basic stuff, but she says she's NEVER had a student go through it that fast. *bragging over* XD
Friday, I played MORE video games with the crew. My heads about to explode now. >____< Ugh! Also, I finished the shoes on my Harry costume! Also that day, I curled my wig some more and now it looks awesome! The LAST things I have to do with the costume are make the backpack, draw some lines and stuff on it, make the tubes, and velcro the yellow disks I made a long time ago onto the suit. I'm so excited.
Saturday, not much happened to talk about. Sunday, I got to cut out the foam for the backpack. I'm going to try to cut out the fabric for it today. And since Karen told me how to make the backpack well, I can't wait to try my skillz at it. XD
Now, anyone remember the egg chalenge episode?
Yes, the eggNOG chalenge!!! XDDDDD
Well, it's time for the recommendation! The recommendation for this week is It Dies Today with a live version of "My Promise" off their latest album "The Caitiff Choir". I love how this song is just so hardcore and brutal the whole way through. It's my favroite IDT song. I hope you like it too.
It Dies Today - My Promise (live)
Now, it's time for a new Band Of The Month!!! The Band Of The Month for June is, of course, It Dies Today. Coming out of Brooklyn, NY (Yes, Brooklyn! NOT Orange County!), these guys have taken the hardcore world by storm with their unmelodic style of brutal breakdowns and technical riffs. But, they also have a super melodic side as demonstrated on songs like "Radience", "Marigold", and "Naenia". Also, I love how they have a SUPER emo look to them, but don't sound ANYTHING like an emo band. XD Here's their lineup:
Nicholas Brooks: vocals
Steve Lemke: bass
Christopher Cappelli: guitar
Mike Hatalak: lead guitar
Nick Mirusso: drums
Also, their albums so far are:
Forever Scorned EP: 2003
The Caitiff Choir: 2004
New Album comes out August 2006
I REALLY hope you guys check out some of their stuff.
This week's question: What's the oldest video game you like to play?
Last week's question: Well, if you read the post last week then you know the answer. ^_~
Now, before I go, cause I've been online for about two hours, here's some pictures of me and Karen from last week. Oh yeah, and I jsut got a photobucket account like an hour ago to do this.
This is us at the taco place. That pic looks sweet, I don't care what you say. ^___^
Okay, from now on, every pic will feature me looking super stupid. Though K-chan still looks cool. ^_~
I least I look semi-normal in this pic. BTW, these were taken at the pier at St. Simons Island. Hence the wind. XD
SNUGGLE!!!!!!!!!
Every time I see Karen do that, I can't help but be reminded of those guys from Pokemon doing that. ^^
The next three pics are of us at Summer Wves and they PROVE that my mom is a stalker! XDDDDD Though she would be good for the F.B.I. XDDDD
Georgia = barren wasteland.
The beach, as taken by my mom.
Okay, the next shots are the FIRST pictures of my cosplay in progress. Please, no bad responses. This IS my first one after all. Thanks must go out to Kren for getting these and for sending the shots to me. *GLOMP KAREN*
And that's the pics. I'll see you guys on Thursday with another update at my life. And Karen, I hope you got back from the convention safe and sound. *GLOMP AND CYCLOPS* Take care and stay (sic).
