   Eeh.

Wow, it seems I've made it up to over 1700 visits in the past length of time that I've been completely gone... ... *grins* Project: Bard, the online manga that I mentioned ages and ages ago that some of my friends and I are working on, has finally launched! Like four months after we said we would, but whatever XD I would really, really appreciate it if you could take a look at it and let me know what you think of the meager first four (and then a thing) pages that we've got up. Much love ^__^ Anyway... got a Black Box Show coming up in February, and the yearly Solo vocal contest in a couple weeks... those'll be eating up most of my time. For now, though, I'm gonna sleep, since it's a weekend and I can. XD Okay, and just to let everyone know, that despite the fact that I've said banner requests are currently closed so I can catch up on what I already have to do, I've gotten about six in the past couple days. I really adore you folks and I love fiddling with Photoshop until it spits out something nice, and I love being able to share that with you guys, but if I've said that I can't take requests, it means I really do need the time. To those of you who have contacted me up until today, I will add yours to my list and I will have them for you eventually... but please, kindly refrain from requesting more until I say it's okay and I've got the time.    Ahahah.

Am I a lazy ass, or what? I actually got started on some of the banner requests that have been piling up. Here they are, requested by zeldadeath: I hope they're up to par. ^_^ Also, if my products fail to satisfy your stalking needs, let me point you towards Shinkiro, who has also made a lovely set of banners that can be found here.    The countown begins.

Thirty-eight minutes until Christmas. So, a couple friends and I went out to Chinatown today, to the asian bookstore. I bought Fullmetal Alchemist manga! ... in Japanese. Which I can't read. But... I'm going to learn. If nothing else, I'll learn my hiragana, which I've been meaning to do. Also picked up Rurouni Kenshin 9 (I don't have seven and eight yet, but hey, it was about four bucks cheaper than at Anime Kingdom where I usually buy manga, so can you blame me?)and one FMA DVD (Japanese import) at a nearby hobby/model shop. Okay, it was the sixth DVD, but the only other one they had was the first one, which I've preordered already... and it was fourteen dollars, which is half what they usually are. I'm quite happy with my haul. My friend Charley now owes me six dollars for the last volume if the Inuyasha manga and another six for an Inuyasha figure. Anyway, there are thirty-two minutes left until Christmas, and I wish I could do something for you all as fancy as what our dear SomeGuy managed... but as that's pretty unlikely, I'll stick to being my usual, lazy, vengeance-thirsty self. My present to you all is the license plate number of the car that blatantly ran a red light in front of me today. If you happen to know anyone with this license plate, please humor me and hit them upside the head a few times: 016-RBC Yay for public humiliation. ^_^ With that out of the way, best wishes for a merry Christmas, a terribly-belated but still heartfelt happy Hannukah for those who celebrate it, a not-quite-so-belated but lovely Yule, a very merry Kwanzaa (and I don't really know when Kwanzaa is, or whether I spelled it right, so please forgive me for that one), and if there's a holiday that I've missed, please kick me and remind me. The fateful letter arrived... I've been deferred to regular admission at Reed. You know, at least that means I'll be able to get them my quarter grades from the community college. That should help a good deal. In other news... I'm officially an adult. Time to go and finish Christmas shopping! Love and peace, all.

   bleh.

Home from school on account of this evil bug that's been going around. My voice seems to have left for vacation a little early. With a little luck, I won't have to sing at tonight's choir concert (I never thought I'd be able to say that I hate choir, but the teacher... I swear she's on crack). All gifts are now mailed, at last. I hope that they all arrive in time... only a week and a day left... Now that I've survived Sherlock Holmes, Winter Concert, Finals, and Christmas shopping... I just have to worry about whether I got into Reed or not. Decision should have been mailed out yesterday. *uncontrollable jitters* As long as I don't have a heart attack before the fateful letter arrives, I think I'll be okay. Aaa *waves from between classes* I live! May be hard to believe, but I live! XD Sherlock Holmes is over, and fall quarter finishes up with finals next week... I am freeeeee. Almost. For a while. *squeaks* Ten days until I can legally own a firearm. *evil laughter* ... well... I won't, obviously, but... yeah. I COULD. Coherency is overrated, and it's about time for me to run off to class... (yay for Astronomy! You people who are still school-aged, if you ever get the chance to take an astronomy class, DO! It really is t3h coolness.) *wavewaves* The rain hath stopped... I'll rush out to the car while I can.

Oh. Feel free to strangle me. Aurus is busy... She went to visit her uncle and aunt in the backstreets of rural Oregon for Thanksgiving. Now she has exactly three days before Sherlock Holmes opens, and once it's over, she will actually have some free time! ... oh, wait. Finals are rapidly approaching at the community college. Nevermind that, then. I am three weeks away from being a legal adult!    aaaahahahah.

I am... so hyper. Halloween candy does aurus mountains of good. Or it might be the latest painkiller, but you know what, it's far better than my previous one that kind of tips me on the depressed end of things... not cool... ... but whatever. Aurus hyper, aurus happy. I wanted to make a quick apology to those people who have requested banners in the past several months. I'm a lousy slacker and I really haven't gotten anything done. I will get to work on them, I promise, but at the moment, school and theatre are slightly higher priorities... at least my first wave of college application-ing is done. Now I just sit, cross my fingers, and wait until December 15th to find out whether or not I got in. BUT I'm not going to think about that now! I don't suppose anybody else saw the aurora borealis these past nights? I was dragged out of bed on Sunday evening to watch it. It's really gorgeous stuff, and I really wish I'd had my camera (and known how to set it for one of those minute-long exposure things). My astronomy class has turned me into a night-sky nut. How fun. Anyway, I have homework I should be doing... but oh well. Banners will be soon in coming, as will the thing that I promised would come of all the random words that were contributed quite a while ago.
