   BFP update / busyness!

I liiiiiive! Well. I've been busy. The last three weeks were essay time, to say the least, and I've had plenty of other things to keep me busy as well. Thanksgiving, some vocal performance-y things, and frantically staving off the yearly sinus infection... yeah. Anyway! An update on the status of the Bleach Fandub Project. Yes, we are still planning on actually doing it. We've run into some problems with recording, though, because Skype has a lag and to make a long story short, it'd be impossible to really do a full-fledged dub unless we find a free audio conversation program with good sound quality and no lag... which, let's face it, we won't. Duo and I are considering going back to our original idea of doing just a few scenes - scenes that we like, scenes that are especially funny/emotional/poignant/meaningful, et cetera - in a radio-play style. This way, we can do the dialogue at our own pace, not have to worry about matching our timing to any animation sequence, and we wouldn't have to warp the actual meaning of the dialogue to fit the animation, either. Also, we can do it over Skype if we work around the lag and edit the sound files afterwards. I'd like to have people's - cast or otherwise - opinion on this, and I would also like to know what scenes people would like to see us do. That's about all for now. Thanks, everybody!

Happy Halloween! This year... I'm sort of an urban ninja. I don't have a real costume, so I'm just going to go around in my regular street clothes with a "shirt ninja" head thing. Yeah, I know, I'm lazy... ... but the only thing that matters is the free candy. Don't deny it. Love and peace!

   Yo!

Wow... it's been a long time. I've been busy and preoccupied and college-y and various things like that... and I really don't have a whole lot of time right now, but there is one thing I want to get out. I'm trying to organize a letter/phone call campaign to help save the Marbled Murrelet and make sure that certain assholes in the White House don't cut it off of the Endangered Species List just to open up logging in Oregon and Washington. Right now, I don't have anything specific planned (I've just sent out pleas for help to various liberal/progressive/environmental groups on my campus), so for the moment, I just want to know if I'd have any support from you guys. I would love it if people would be willing to sort of be a liaison to other areas of the country... you know, spread the word to friends and schools and neighbors and relatives and whatnot, hand out flyers, give people a letter or phone call template... stuff like that. Do I have any support from you guys? Love and peace, my dears.

Just dropping by to say that yep, I'm still alive, and I'm really sorry for not coming by people's sites lately. Stuff is busy and I think I'm getting this bug that seems to be going around. A little sniffly, a little more than a little tired... ugh. No. Sick now would be very, very, very bad. And for those who don't know, this past Monday was International Talk Like A Pirate Day. I had fun, pillaging and running around and wearing pirate-y clothing. Arrrr.

Heyyyyyy. So, in case you are wondering, no, there hasn't been much BFP progress. It's all my fault, you are welcome to smite me should you so desire. However, I beg you to reconsider, as I have been indulging heavily in fun Japanese things. I've joined both Taiko club and Kendo club on campus, and it's loads of fun... naturally, my arms are DEAD by the end of the evening, but ahh, I love it so. I'm getting strong again. I feel so... validated. XD I need to read and sleep... so... that is all for today. Scripts, people, scripts! *pleads*

*giggles*

Everyone in the dorm must think I'm completely out of my mind... I've spent some of the evening reading through the Bleach scripts, and I have no doubt that everyone can hear me shouting things like "Ichigo! It's coming!" and so on... ... and I still can't get them to sound right. Of course, I haven't had very much time to work on them, and doing them on my own... well, there's nothing to bounce off of, so to speak. It'd be easier if I was with other people. We should try to arrange some times just to read through the scripts sooner or later. (Speaking of, SG, are you nearly done with the first episode? I'd rather like to have it back. XD ) I feel like... this is really, really, really difficult for me to do in a dorm... no privacy, and I can't shout properly with other people around who'd probably flip out if I suddenly screamed "ARE YOU ALRIIIGHT, KUROSAKI-KUN?" at the top of my lungs, in a crazily-sugar-sweet voice... Well, I'll be home for winter vacation, and we'll have all of next summer. I sense this could be a looong project. Anyway... this is aurus, signing off, and hoping nobody's called the cops on me.

   Yay.

I have music for everyone. Do IM me if you'd like some. It's the most gorgeous song EVER, by one of my favorite musical geniuses in the world. In other news, spending the night at my aunt and uncle's house, about an hour away from school. I've been having some... issues? Just little things that keep piling up, mostly. My beloved camera broke, the repair cost $160, and I may not even have it back until mid-October. Strangely, this has caused me to unleash my creative energy by drawing something that inadvertently reeks of S&M. It wasn't my intention at first; in fact, it was based on A Perfect Circle's song, The Noose (especially the lyrics about pulling the halo down around your neck and choking you with it), but the chains and the cut of the dress? Yeah... Oh, well. There'll be more chains when I'm done (I'm planning on have the chains around her neck drawn towards the viewer, and those at her wrists being pulled away... stuff like that), so you all can see what a sick cookie I truly am. -__-; Yeah, anyway, the stress of the camera and the money, and a slight bit of homesickness, and still not having my Photoshop CD despite really being irritated with the girl I loaned it to (who, may I note, didn't even mention she had it when I first began worrying about its loss BEFORE SHE MOVED ACROSS THE COUNTRY), and a lot more than slight personal issues with my confused and more-human-and-female-than-I'm-satisfied-with brain... I've had an upset stomach for a couple days. This is unbelievable. For aurus to actually be put off from food... is truly inconceivable. And yet... *sigh* But it's rather nice to be here with my aunt and uncle, and not at school for a couple days. Much more peaceful here. That's all for now. Still no BFP progress, and I know, I have actually had time... but it's all gone into the sick drawing. I'm an awful person. Much love for all of you, my dears.
