Time for a Bit of a LONG update
Yea I have been ignoring all blog sites for awhile. Just trying to get everything in order here is all.

England:
Twas fun. Went shopping in a couple small towns that was near my mom's village. Yeah she lives in a village, I thought it was cool. Drving around was weired, being on the other side of the road in an AMERICAN made car.

We also went into London for New Years. Went to the Tower of London, St. Paul's Cathedral and saw Big Ben. We also went to the aquarium. And by the Aquariaum was the coolest thing, it was call Cafe Manga. Yes MANGA. They served food and had manga and anime magazines to read. Made me smile.

We also went to Picadilly Circus to go shopping. Found my favorite store there, Animal. Its a British Surfing store, like Roxey or Pac Sun.

We didnt go out for New Years we stayed in the Hotel, Julian was sick and so were me and mom. So we stayed in and watched it on the telly. And it was a good thing we stayed in, it was litterally a sea of people.

Back Home:
Well I was back at home for a whole 4 or 5 days I think. Went to the dentist and again she found 5 more cavities... I know I dont have that many its impossible. So time to go to a new dentist.

Saw my friends Heidi and Sandi, it was Heidi's 21st b-day, so we went out to a club (Where Sandi and I could get in as well since both of us are still 20.) I cant wait till I am 21 then all of us can go out and have LOADS of fun.


That was basicaly my break.

SCHOOL:
I am so glad to be back at school, kinda. I miss my family, but that is life. The first week has proved to be tiring, in a way. Lots of Art classes, I am happy about that.

But what made it hard was that Aaron and I broke up, yea. I knew it was comming, it hasnt really hit me yet, but it probably wont really show either.

Cosplay:
I got all my fabric for Esther! Lots and Lots of White fabric 8 yards to be exact. This shall be fun.

Home Sweet Hectic Home
So I am finaly home for the whole 3 days that I am.

The flight was exciting, for the simple fact that I was with Dual and Computer Faerie. We got to the airport with a lot of time to sit down and get some food. When we checked in the lady asked how long our turn over was in Memphis. It was over an hour and she said okay that is good you will have 30 mins. I was confused. But not for long. When our plane should have been there...It was not. And when the screen said that we were boarding, we were not and the plane was still not there. And the screen said that we had departed...when indeed we were still sitting in the terminal. You might be thinking "were they at the wrong gate?" No we were at the right gate...the plane was late.

Luckly the plane got there and they quickly boarded us and we were off. We got to Memphis in time for our next flight...we even had a few moments to catch our breath.

Today I went into town with my Step-mom and got new luggage. I needed bigger suitcases, and my sister need luggage as well.

After shopping I had to go to my sister's play at the church. It was good, except for the part that the director (who should have been in the back with the kids making sure things were getting done when they needed to) Was up front playing as the Narrator. OH and her voice gave me a headache..and the play was more Narration than actual acting. They put on A Chrismas Carol. The kids were good, my sister really is an actor!

Then after the play we went to Taco night! That was fun for the most part. We got to see one set of grandparents before going off to England.

So tomorrow I get to pack and finish laundry, go get my step-mom's christmas gift. And hopefully sleep some. Before Tuesday when I get on a plane to England for Christmas. =^ ^= yay me!

It sucks...My Government exam is in 30 mins...and it is going to preaty much fail or pass me... And I dont know anything that the test is going to be on..

Excited!!
So today during my Physical Science class I figured out how I am going to make my Esther Blanchett costume. =^ ^=

I have been worried that I wouldnt figure something out and I would end up commissioning it with money I dont have...at the moment at least.

But yea! I am excited, I figure I will use a trench coat kinda pattern, and alter it so it doesnt come across the front like it is supposed to. And then make the front pannel of the dress and have millions apon millions of snaps!

Updates...ya
A little update on the whole Naruto Prom thing that I am doing.

You will be glad to know that I have totally thrown out the idea of Haku, and I am now just going to do Sakura in a prom dress. This is just a much better one to do for me. Since I will already have the pink wig and all ^ ^.

I leave for England in a little over two weeks. I am really excited about going over there but not to excited about having to spend all that time with my mom and stepdad and stepbro. But I get to finally go out of the States! How awsome is that!!

Cos Con III
Cos Con was fun. I enjoyed it very much, aside from the smallness of it. It was a nice little get together of fellow Otakus!

I really enjoyed that I got 3rd place, along with Roxey20, for our Bleach costume in the group Category. (I was Renji she was Matsumoto). Granted there were only like 4 or 5 group cosplay entries, but we were So happy that we won something. So thus we have decided that we are going to do group hall contests all the time now =^ ^=

On as side note, I am really upset. So far I have gotten two, what I consider, comments on two of my cosplays that I have posted. One being on my Hyotei cosplay, the girl questioned if I knew how to hold a raquet. To clear that up yes I do and I was holding it correctly in the picture...that same girl also made a rude comment on Roxey20's Hyotei comment simply putting *rolls on floor laughing histaricly* Or something of the like.
I also got a rude comment on my Aerith costume. Saying that I looked NOTHING like her. Does it really matter if you look like the character you cosplay? I mean there are people out there that do look like certain characters, but not everyone looks like a character from an anime or game! Cosplaying is for the joy of dressing up as your favorite character! That is it!!! *Grumble* I cant decide if I want to report these two people or not. I prolly wont cuz that is just me...

*sigh*

The Great Battle of Avenly and the Floor
There once was a beautiful lady, Avenly (yes I am beautiful) who was sleeping in her dorm room with her roommate,Rhea, who is just a beautiful. But they both like different temperatures in the room. So at night there is no heat on. And in the morning Rhea likes to turn the fan off and the heat on.

Well one faitful morning Rhea turned the fan off and the heat on and went to take a shower. Now Avenly was in bed (Which is lofted) awake because she was hot, (It gets hot up there fast!) and all of a sudden her stomach started to hurt for no reason at all. She sat there for a little while thinking it would go away but it didnt. So she got up and headed to the bathroom.

As she was there her ears started to ring, an all to familiar ring. And then her vision started to fade in and out. She quickly got out of the bathroom and down the hall. WHEN The floor decided to trip her. She fell and bruised her left eye, and got a bit of rug burn on top of it. She rolled and laid there for a bit. She looked down the hall both ways...no one was around to see her fall. (Of course) So she got up and quickly got to her room and got onto the cold floor. Ahhh it was nice and cold and felt good.

So yes this is a true story about me yesterday. I almost passed out again. *Passed out over spring break last year* Twas not fun at all. So now I have this wonderful battle scars. And Cos Con is this weekend *YAY* so I am going to be a beat up Renji and Aerith. Even more fun! LOL!

But still it is going to be fun. We leaving early in the morning. I still need to pack...Which is what I am going to do now. I felt the need to share my wonderful story with all of you!

   Halloween!
So Halloween was fun for the most part. I dressed as Aerith for the morning, went to chapel and lunch in the costume. It was too cold for me to continue wearing it. But that was okay cuz I had to change into normal clothes so I could go set up for the Roman Fourm that our Classical Antiquity class and some other history classes were putting on.

So once we were all set up I came back to my room and got my toga on and then headed back. I stood for 3 hours straight. It was alright for the most part. I mean I WAS dressed as a virgin after all who could have no contact with any man or she would be burried alive. *shrugs* tis life right lol. Anyway, my friend Aaron showed up in the first hour of it starting, and he realized that I wasnt going to be able to get dinner, so he offered to get me a sandwich and bring it back for me. That made me happy. And he did come back...the sandwich was on the caf plate...I found that funny that he actually got it out of the caf...not that they pay much attention. I would have given him a hug, but I had to be in character and couldnt for fear of being buried alive.

Anyway when all of that was over with we broke down all of our stuff. I went back to my room (Which was locked...and had to get it opened for me) I changed into my Renji costume for a party that the Anime Club was putting on. Then I walked over got there and had a friend draw on my Tattoos on my forehead. (I dont know if Roxey had uploaded any of them yet). So I mingled there for a little bit...played DDR in my Shinigami robes (That was fun), the wig came off so I just decided not to wear it anymore.

So I was just sitting on the couch with Linsey on my left and Aaron on my right. We were just sitting there watching the other people play DDR. Lin decided that she was going to take up most of the couch so I had to scooch over so much that I was almost sitting on Aaron...he didnt seem to mind much.

Lin got up to go say hi to someone that had showed up. That was when Aaron decided to ask me something. He basically asked if I would go out with him. I was sooooo happy! I have had a little crush on him for some time now. So of course I said yes! Aaron is much better than my ex Mike...Aaron actually knows how to treat a lady..and such. Much nicer than a 19 yr old who lives all the way in PA and barely talks to you.

So basically I had the BEST Halloween ever!

   Oh to be Finished with costumes
So I have practically finished both of my costumes for Cos Con. My Shinigami costume came in the mail on Friday. I havent put it on yet. But that is okay.

But the big acomplishment is that I am finished with Aerith. (Yeah I still have buttons to sew on but thats no biggie). The point is the main part of it is done! Finally. I am really excited about wearing it, I think I am going to wear Aerith instead of Renji for Halloween. Just cuz I like it better! Hopefully I will get some pictures of it up here soon. Maybe Roxey and I can have a little photo shoot here on campus on Tuesday! YAY!

Anyway Thats all I wanted to put up today..enough procrastination for me...Off to the homework!

Wigs
Okay, So this is the first time I have modified a wig. And I gotta tell ya its hard! I am making the wig for my Aerith costume. Cuz well I have short hair, (I am kinnda wishing I had long hair so I DIDNT need a wig). But yeah so I got a medium length wig, pulled it up in a pony tail and chopped it off so it was a stub. And then I pulled the extentions I had gotten and put them together. This whole technique is called the stubbing technique basically I am sewing on the pony tail.

Well its EXTEREAMLY heavy, and likes to slide down my head. I dont want to put like a hundred hair pins in my hair...that would cause a head ache, I think I already have one from attempting it. So now I am chopping the thickness in half. Yeah it isnt going to all the way true to the costume, BUT at least I wont kill myself wearing it!
