   *Merf*
Nobody commented on my little Umbrella Corp. tag I put on my intro yesterday. T_T Nya ha, just kiddin', iss ai'ght. It's only been up for a day, plus I can't expect you to comment on every little change I make. Just please take a look if you haven't already, because Umbrella's the way of the future! (Mwa ha ha ha ha)

On to a more pathetic note, let's talk about me. Today was pretty weird for me. My mood went through the entire spectrum in just one school day (really happy, really depressed, really angry, and really neutral/unreactive). Maybe it's because I'm stressing because I have my first 2 exams tomorrow: Fundamentals of Technology and Biology, and the next day, Spanish and Geometry. Plus, I had a headache this morning, so maybe it was a combination of those factors. *sigh*, sorry, I know my "feelings" aren't the most fun thing to talk about, so let's move on to something fun!

I'm still really interested in finding out more about Resident Evil (call me obsessive, but that idea is just too cool!). If I were a manga conglomerate and/or was selling my manga for profit, there would be some major copyright issues involved, but since I was originally going to have zombies and bio-mutants be apart of my story anyway, why not skip being accused of "stealing Resident Evil's idea" by having my story run congruently with Resident Evil? Sort of like a cross-over, if you know what I mean. Rather then think up a whole new scenario for why there are zombies and such (which would sound like I was copying Resident Evil anyway), I can have the events from Resident Evil occur from the perspective of my characters on one or two occasions. Kind'a like how Spider-man and the X-men join up from time to time. Satan's going to need a way to get a new physical body, so what better place to get blank bio-mass from then Umbrella Corp.? >:D

Anywho, here's the Prayer List:
My Pastor
The Victims of the Christmas Day Tsunami
Vankala 86, her friend Mel, and Mel’s fiancé as he serves in Iraq
xSakurax
Akane the Fox, her friend, and her friend's boyfriend in Re-hab
SILVER TIGER
Those who are suffering from breast cancer, as added by atreyu7slip
TravelingDisciple
And his friends Tigger and Floyd
Honoto
jennifer92
My Grandmother
My Studying for Exams >_o
The family that had their house burn down
And Mark

Thanks everybody, and please give me an extra boost of Prayer while I study for my exams tonight.

   Embrace the Umbrella
Yo everybody. Sup'?

Vankala86 submitted this really cool portrait yesterday! Check it out:

Not to say Rosa's old stuff was bad (even back in the day she was still better then me T_T), but you can definitely see some improvement in her work over time. Her coloring has gotten incredible! And her pose and character design rock to! Great work, Rosa! b^_^d

Something I've been getting really interested in lately was the Resident Evil series. Though I'm too broke and too much of a wuss to go and buy the game, I've found myself really getting into the series. I mean, come on, bio-mutants, zombies, and massive amounts of firearms? How could AweesomeDude898, creator of 'Ghost Hunter', not be into that!?
Has anyone played any of the Resident Evil games? If so, which ones did you play? Did you like them? Would you recommend them?

Anywho, I finished the written part of my Cocaine report. Now I gotta' do a visual aid. @_@ I hate school. But I'm almost out! Yay!

Here's the Prayer List:

Yo everybody! Sorry I wasn't here yesterday, but I've got some great news! Here are the headlines!

*Just in case you didn't know, Living Doll's graduation went great! Way to go, Karen! ~_'d
Also, special thanks to Karen for showing me how to make text into a clickable link on my blog! Thanks, Karen!

*ElvesAteMyRamen is back in action on TheOtaku! As expected, her ComCrap up and crapped-out on her, thus the reason for her short absence. But on the bright-side, Lindsey now has a well-paying summer job! Way to go, Lindsey! b^_^d

*And probably the biggest news of today, Miyoko-chan is out of the hospital! It turns out that her side and (now recent) stomach pain was caused by an ovarian cist. You really won't believe the story of this thing, so click here to read about it on her site. This thing was massive! She went into the doctor's office with not only side, back and stomach pain, but also a distended stomach! And her stay at the hospital really sucked, to! Poor Erin-chan, she's such a trooper! Get well soon, Erin-chan!

As other things go, I'm still really scared about the amount of studying I still need to do. I'm really worried that I'll forget to study something important, or that I will study something and forget it on the test (as I seem to do a lot), or that I just won't be able to properly concentrate and won't retain all of the information, especially in Spanish. I'm already going to take Spanish I over again next year, because you have to be like an A+ Spanish student to survive in Spanish II. This just all has me really stressed out. I don't even have any classmates to study with! This is 25 freakin' percent of my grade here! -_-' It just seems really hopeless.

Sorry, I'll quit the 'woe is me' crap. Sorry about that.

(*CONTAINS NO SPOILERS*)
So, did anybody else watch Samurai Champloo last night? It was awesome as usual, wasn't it? Ha ha, Sam-Cham rocks.
Or how about those 2 new animes last night? Did anybody else watch those as well (Paranoia Detective and s-CRY-ed)? To be honest, I thought both were a bit of a let-down. Though Paranoia Detective was very surreal and new concept to me, I found it just a -little- too messed up and tripped out. That was just plain WEIRD. @_@ s-CRY-ed was also not what I expected. From the commercials, I thought I'd be a kickin' anime about psychic powers (thus right up my ally). Though I loved some of the characters, I thought it really just perpetuated the "Teenagers Using Giant Robots" anime stereo-type, which has obviously already been done to death. Ah well, I got to see a classic anime for the first time to make up for it. I've never been into Trigun before, but last night I stayed up and watched the first episode, and it was awesome! Man, that was hilarious! I'm really a Trigun fan now! :3

Anyway, check the bottom post for the Prayer List (no room on this post). I'll see you all tomorrow.

   Not feelin' too great
Hi everybody. Short post today. It's already 7:00 pm (my time) and I still haven't hit the books today!

I'm really stressing over my exams right now. They start on Wednesday and I have my report on Cocaine due Tuesday. I don't think I could possibly cram all my algebra/geometry formulas and much less all that I need to know for Spanish into my brain by next week! I'm serious about this, it's really got me depressed and worried. Each exam is worth 25 freakin' percent of my year grade! That's unbelievable! This has really got me scared right now. -_- Man, I sound like such a puss, don't I? Sorry, sometimes I need to whine a little.

Miyoko-chan has also got me worried. She hasn't posted in a good long while, and she usually posts once a day like I do. Her last post was about going to the doctor for her side-pain, so you can see why I'm so worried.

I'll be back tomorrow, with some more important news about some of our other Otaku members.

Please keep me in your prayers as I try to study, along with everyone else on the Prayer List (see yesterday's post).

I'll see you all tomorrow.

   "Silence resonates,
in and out, in and out of your mind and breath.
Whispers float across your mind's ears.
Who are you?
What are you?
And what will you become?
Or, better yet, what do you plan to become?
The chill in the air can now be felt.
The stiff, frigid feeling snakes up the center of your back.
In this calm and quiet solitude, you prepare to enter a state of self-examination, to find out just what makes you who you are, and just what makes the people around you who they are."

I thought I'd help Akane out by typing a poetic intro to her 'Behind the Broken Mirror' manga, which has the cover and the first 3 pages posted today.
So, if you're prepared to peer into the eyes of your shattered reflection, click here.

I'm feelin' a bit better then yesterday, but just a TEEEEEENSY little bit. But it's enough to make me want to give thanks to God. Thank you! W^0^W

I'm having a bit of trouble with myself, though. I'm sort of depressed (big whoop, like that doesn't happen every week or so with me), and that's on top of being stressed beyond ANY point of reason over my exams. Not to mention I'm sort of confused about myself at this point in time. Have you ever had a time where you couldn't figure out if you were angry at someone or just jealous of them? I can't talk to anyone else about it, because they'd just make fun of me. I'm not sure if I even want to discuss it here. Well, not on my site at least. Oh well, it's nothing worth talking about. Never mind.

I've gotta' do a report on Cocaine for Health class by Tuesday. >_o Oy, oh well, it'll be easy, since it just has to be 2 pages double-spaced. XD I could do that in my sleep!

Here's the Prayer List:
My Pastor
Erin (Miyoko-chan)
The Victims of the Christmas Day Tsunami
Vankala 86, her friend Mel, and Mel’s fiancé as he serves in Iraq

Akane the Fox, her friend, and her friend's boyfriend in Re-hab

X_X Ugh. I'm gonna' die. I fell like I'm gonna' die. I hate being sick!!!
I feel like crap!
No, I feel like double-crap!
No, I feel like double-crap on a crap-cracker!!!
Jeesh, I took some Nyquil (sp?) last night, and I still didn't sleep well! I woke up every hour right before I suffocated from the build-up of my own snot! *Gurk*, and my throat feels like I've been eating studded metal balls! And now it's even worse! You know how you feel when you're doing strenuous exercise in really cold weather? Now I feel like that every time I go outside! And it's freakin' MAY for crying out loud!
Urf, this sucks! And so close to exams, to!

Ah, but it's not like I have a right to complain. Erin-chan (Miyoko-chan) is still reeling from her side pain. She'll be going to the doctor's soon, though, because the pain's now spread to her stomach area as well. Poor Erin-chan.
However, she is feeling better about what happened at school recently. Thanks to all who prayed for her and visited her.

And in another piece of good news, Akane ("Akane the Fox" is her full Otaku name) is posting the first of her 'Behind the Broken Mirror' manga pages! The long wait is over! Akane has always been one of my favorite Otaku artists, and she's always shown talent that looked like it would be great to channel into manga! And with her finishing exams tomorrow, she'll have all summer to work on it with Xero!
Plus, Akane and I are helping each other with advice and critiques on the manga process (the same goes for me and sailortight, clestialessence, Miyoko-chan, and several others).
Akane pioneered this transaction by submitting her rendition of my character Andrea. If you didn't see it already, please click here to vote and comment!

Hi everybody. I turned in my monstrosity of a study-guide for Biology in today. That's a load off! Now all I have to do is cram like a madman for history and Spanish, and I'll be home free! Well, maybe. @_@

I had an OK day today, but last night was a WHOLE different story. My mom started accusing me of "lying" to my brother's therapist on Thursday. She said I was "falsely defending him". WTF!? Like I'm gonna' LIE to protect that dishonest, disgusting little troll!? She basically pissed at me for 20 minutes about "making her look bad" and "defending my brother with lies". That's a bunch of Malarky! >:O I swear, I love my mom, but she is seriously gonna' put me in an asylum. I'm thinking her moods change with the position of the stars or something. Either that, or things like nuclear testing in remote parts of the country, radio-waves or even weather the month has a "Y" in it or not can determine if she's in a good or bad mood. >:(

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Erin-chan (Miyoko-chan, if you don't know already) had a pretty sucky day as well. I'm not sure if she'd want me talking about it, because it's sort of a personal issue (one I've never had to deal with, which is a good or bad thing depending on how you look at it -_-'). But if you want the details you can check it out on her site. Please keep her in your prayers.

My "average comments per post" has been on a downward spiral recently. At one point I had an average of 7 to 10 comments per posting! But that went to an average of 5 to 7 and then to 0 to 3 comments. Ah well, I guess it's the fact that the exams are this and next week.
*GASP!!!* Holy crap! That's right! Ahhhhhh! Gotta' study! >o<

Here's the current Prayer List:
My Pastor
Erin (Miyoko-chan)

Here's another optical illusion for you all:
A very nice take-off of Escher's original "Relativity".

By the way, I'm sort of skeptical of just how many of you are actually praying for the people on the prayer list. Are any of you in the club ACTUALLY praying?

   Can't...study...another...second. But...exams...are...in...a...week.
GAAAAAAH!!! X_x I can't take it anymore! Exams start next Monday and I can't fit one more iota of crap that I'll forget in a month anyway into my tiny little brain! I'M SCREWED!!!

Breathe in...Breathe out...*siiiiiigh*, OK, glad I got that out of my system. Happy Logan's back now. ^_^

*Gurk*, my sore throat's been getting worse ever since Saturday. Cough suppressant mints are the only thing that's keeping me alive. That, and the relief of being able to go to Barnes & Noble's again yesterday after my post. Heh heh, I love the Love Hinna series. By the way, since I'm broke, I don't buy the mangas, I steal them.
Did I say steal? Silly me, I meant that I just read them at the store. ^_^ They've got some comfy chairs and GREAT frappe’s there!

Check this out, everybody! Akane finished one of her parts of the art-trade with me! She did my character Andrea in her style! Take a look:

Isn't that pretty? Wonderful job, Akane! Thank you so much!
Please visit this awesome piece and vote & comment on it. And if you haven't already done the same with EAMR's pic of Momiji, please do so as well!

And speaking of EAMR, we can now take her off the Prayer List, because she's finished with all her school work! \m/^_^\m/

We're currently doing Haikus in English right now. Since I've done these every year in middle-school, it's kind'a boring. But, I need your opinions on how to better my Haikus. Here's the one I'm submitting. What do you think?:

Dreams change like the wind.
Now no longer a sweet dream,
absolute horror.

These 2 I'm doing for extra credit:

Thunder clashes overhead.
Blinding flashes ignite clouds.
Just ride the lightning.

Go mad from the fear.
The call of the Ktulu
is summoning you.

Both influenced by, who else, Metallica!

Here's the Prayer List!:

   Yo everybody. What's up?

I've got to go study later. @_< I NEED A BREAK!!! My mind is going all numb! Gackt! If I see one more text-book or another question about "Weather most members of the kingdom Protista are autotrophic or heterotrophic", I'm gonna' have a conniption!
Whew, glad I got that out of my system, sorry about that.

Anyway, I went to church this morning. I wasn't too happy about going because I didn't sleep well last night, and I wanted to sleep in. But, we got chocolate covered strawberries! :9 That made it all worth getting up! That's the first time I've had those! Man those were good! But, it honestly isn't that much of God to ask that we give 1 day a week to worship Him. I mean, come on, the guy's only...well, the creator of the UNIVERSE! As much as I LOVE sleeping in, it's a bit selfish of me not to give an hour and 1/2 to Him every week.

The reason I was so tired was because I stayed up late last night to watch Samurai Champloo and the first Inuyasha movie. Did anyone else watch that movie? Oh man, that... was... the... SHIZNIC! That was so freakin' awesome! With the exception of the distortion that you could see particularly in the faces (damn wide-screen conversion) the animation was awesome! The 3D effects kicked, and the story was really engrossing! Though "Affections that Touch across Time" isn't exactly a title that would get me interested, that movie was really touching. There, you got a guy to say a movie was "touching", ya' happy now? >:P
The bad guy in that movie, though..., there was something weird about him *coughfaggotcough*. At the climax I was all like, "Ha ha, he's a big ugly butter-fly". :p

And speaking of things that are the shiznic, I forgot to tell you all that I listened to the first 5 songs on my 2nd S&M CD (4 on Friday, and 1 last night). Man, what a way to kick of part 2! Nothing Else Matters is deep and heart-felt, and Until It Sleeps is dark and ghoulish (just as it should be). For Whom the Bell Tolls sounds so much fuller and richer then the original version, and -Human (pronounced "Minus Human") is a little weird with the lyrics, but the instrumentals were awesome! And finally, Wherever I may Roam sounds wonderful with the flurry of strings and trumpets that the symphony produces.

Here's the Prayer List:
My Pastor
ElvesAteMyRamen (Her end of the year work and computer)
The Victims of the Christmas Day Tsunami
Vankala 86, her friend Mel, and Mel’s fiancé as he serves in Iraq
xSakurax
Akane the Fox, her friend, and her friend's boyfriend in Re-hab

TravelingDisciple
And his friends Tigger and Floyd
Honoto
jennifer92

And here's yet another awesome optical illusion for you all!
This piece is entitled "On the Up-Swing". But just how high is that little kid going on her up-swing?

   Yo everybody.

Just stopping by real quick to see how everybody's doing.
Now I've got to go study. -_-' Sheesh, I studied all last night, now I have to study all of tonight. I hate preparations for exams. I wanna' draw! >:P

Anyway, I went to Barnes & Nobles today for what SHOULD be my weekly manga-run. I picked up in Love Hina where I left off oh-so-long ago. (Darn you, you horrible exam studies!) I'm now about 2 thirds of the way through volume 8 (for anyone else that's read the series, that's the whole Parakelse Island deal). Man, I forgot how funny that series is! More then a bit on the risqué' side, though. Regardless, it's still got me thirsting for more!

And speaking of Love Hina, here's an interesting tid-bit:
My buddies Josh (phantomlord882) and Jess both say I look like somebody from that manga. According to them, take Keitaro and scale him down to 5 or 6 years before he found the Hinata House, and viola, you've got me.
Interesting....

Any who, I'll see ya'll tomorrow! I've gotta' go hit the books! ^_^'
