Yo everybody. I'm sort of worried about EAMR. She's going into surgery tomorrow to remove a lump (like a cist or something along those lines) from her wrist. Details are on her site, but there's a particular reason she's so worried. Since what they're removing is located in her wrist, there's a possibility that the tendons of her palm, wrist and fingers could get damaged, meaning it would be hard or impossible to continue her art career. Art is Lindsey's life, so she's naturally worried. And when a friend is worried, I'm worried. Please pray that God will watch over her and protect her from dangerous complications, as well as give her the strength to remain confident and happy through this difficult ordeal. I'll be praying for her all through today and tomorrow.

Please also continue to pray for Mark (previous post). He really needs it.

And a special (and belated) thank-you to Dark Necrofear for teaching me how to type in bold. Thanks!

I hate to start off on a new spiel, but does anyone know how to change the color of my text, the font or how to italicize it? If anyone would be willing to tell me it would really help me out.

Shout-Outs:

Hi everybody. I'm still feeling a bit down, but after talking with my Dad and the ever-so-loving/loveable Miyoko-chan, I feel a lot better. Thank you Erin-chan! ^_^d

I REALLY need your help with www.photobucket.com. Everything that's in bitmap (.bmp) format shows up all small! Does anyone know how to keep that from happening? I have some great pics I really want to show you.

And by the way guys, I drew this is Geometry class and I wanted to know if you think it's good enough to submit here. It's a little chibi version of Andrea from my Ghost Hunter manga. Ain't she cute!?

No-Leaf Clover
Hey everybody. Happy late St. Patty's day. The day where we celebrate...uh...shamrocks, and uh...what exactly are we celebrating? Aywho, the song of the week is very fitting for the holiday. And yes, the title of the post is both for St. Patrick's Day and a Metallica reference.

I'm sorry I didn't post yesterday, I was just really depressed and I never got around to it. I've been feeling really down lately, and it's really taking a toll on my creativity. I just feel like total crap. Health sucked REALLY badly today, but I don't care to talk about why. The people around me just make me feel like total sh--. Oh well, no point in pissing and moaning about it to you guys.

Check ot this wicked optical illusion. It's called "optic waves". Prepare to get a headache.

Check this out. These photos were edited, but they're still hilarious. They document the most hic wedding I've ever seen.

I was hoping to get more of a response on my previous post. If you haven't seen it already, please check it out.

Does anyone here know anything about the process of Electrolysis? If you do, I could really use any information you have.

The people at my school really bug me. To give you an example of the level of moral and respect at me school, consider the following: Someone drew a swastika on the bathroom stall wall. How retarded is that?

But that's not what I'm mad over. Someone passed me a fake love-note in Spanish the other day. That really pisses me off. It may sound like I'm over-reacting and being a bi--h about it, but it really hurt my feelings. The person who wrote it either thought I was stupid enough to believe it or hated me enough that they wanted me to go through the awkward social process that follows a note like that. Maybe this wouldn't be such a big deal if there had actually ever been someone that really did like me at some point in the past. That sh-- won't ever happen, so I say screw it. In case you haven't noticed, I'm not in the most chipper of moods.

That's enough about my crap, let's get to something you'll actually care about hearing...or in this case, seeing. I've got some pretty impressive artwork to show you guys. Here it is:

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
This impressive close-up was sketched by the excellent Vankala 86. Check out the eyes and hair strands.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
This pic was done by Akane the Fox and features her original characters Akane (left) and Mark (right).

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
This astonishing pic of "Angel Ed" was produced by the talented Full Metal Alchemist fan SoulsOfAnime.

This enchanting lavender elf maiden was drawn by Miyoko-chan.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
This is Akane's profile of her original character Vance Tompson from her manga, "Behind the Broken Mirror". Akane is posting the profile of a new character every day this week. This one was submitted on Tuesday, and another was submitted today. Please go check it out.

And a big thanks to Mysterious Child who dedicated this excellent pi to me! How did she know I loved mermaids?

Thanks again everybody, and I'll see you tomorrow.

   Check, Check it, G!
Hi everybody! Wassup'? In case you haven't seen it (or if it's not up yet), I have a new song and quote of the week! But since my bandwidth keeps getting eaten up like a pizza at a weight-watchers graduation, I think I'll have to do 2 songs each week. But that's not a bad thing! I think I'll split the week up and update the song on Mondays and Thursdays. This week (or, half of the week), it's Flogging Molly with "Drunken Lullabies", the first song off there album of the same name!

With only a couple "D" batteries, some elbow grease and $20 and 20 minutes at Radio-shack, I'm making a simple circuit for extra credit in my science class. But, I think have made a critical oversight in my rush to build something cool. It might not be a problem, but, I'm not in physical science, I'm in BIOLOGY! I'm such a moron! Geeze, how stupid can ya' get? That's like submitting a chemistry thesis for world history class. Oh well, maybe I can show it to my Fund. of Tech. teacher for extra credit.

In lighter and more productive news, I'm making something really cool with Blender! I'm creating the deign for this really spiffy Rube Goldberg styled machine, and I'm hoping I can figure out how to put the schematics for it up here on my site.

For those of you who don't know what Blender is:
Blender is a free 3-D modeling software package that I've been experimenting with on and off since September. It allows you to do basic to advanced 3-D modeling and animation, and if you're interested in it, you can download it for free at www.blender3d.org.

For those of you who don't know what a Rube Goldberg machine is:
Rube Goldberg was a cartoonist that drew designs for complicated chain-reaction machines. Ex: Ball (A) rolls down ramp (B) landing on lever (C) which pulls the string tied to linch-pin (D) which when released drops barbell (E) onto lever (F) flinging rubber ball (G) into the air which lands on flip-switch (H) which turns on light bulb (I) which heats up and burns through rope (J) which releases....well, you get the idea.

I just thought you guys would love seeing this pic (just incase you haven't seen it because you've been locked in your cellar for the past week ^_^). Check it out:

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
I don't even have to say anything. But, as is my motto, I will anyway ~_^. Just look at the lighting. You can tell the light direction, intensity and positioning as well. I am really in artistic bogglement with the color scheme. This piece mostly consists of off colors (pale yellows, grays, pinks, dark reds, browns, light blues and dark greens) with the exception of Kyo there. Yet the colors seem to blend well, yet not too well. This gives the colors their own vibrancy. The background was also done insanely well! That sky just looks so realistic yet so dream-like. That one component just really has me in awe, I just can't put my finger on why. And saints be praised that the form and figure of the three foreground subjects was not only done well, but was done flawless! Just look at Yuki's arm and his pose centered around his wound. I'm seriously sure that lining and anatomic frame-work this perfect can not be accomplished without satanic interference. XD

You may have noticed I didn't mention the name of the artist who drew this piece. You probably know who she is already, but if you don't I'll give you some hints: She's awesome, she's friendly, she's a big fan of the Lords of the Ring series, she's a small fan of Metallica (she'll see the light sooner or later XD), she has a cute and clever name, she likes Ramen, Prisma Color pencils and The Legend of Zelda, and beyond a shadow of a doubt she rocks my socks along with everyone else's (including the great James, Lars, Kirk and Cliff). Oh, and she likes to say "Feh" a lot.

Give up?

Though you probably knew 4 or 5 paragraphs ago, it's Lindsey (ElvesAteMyRamen)! Lindsey dominates again with this new masterpiece, as well as whets our appetite for more. Keep on the look out for a sweat-inducing Kenshin pic coming soon, ladies! (It may not be her next pic, but it will be sometime in the near future.)

Here's the Prayer List. If I said I would add you to it but forgot, please tell me. I tend to forget the simplest of stuff.

My Pastor
MichaelsGirl91
The Victims of the Christmas Day Tsunami
Akane the Fox, her friend, and her friend's boyfriend in Re-hab
Miyoko-chan's brother Scott and his car
SILVER TIGER and her cousin in the hospital
Honoto
Me (that I get over this cold/flu)
celestialessecnce (some morons have been stealing her art)
My Grandmother
Isaac
Miyoko-chan (she's been having some issues with her church leaders)

And by the way, if you haven't seen my last post (day before yesterday) or the day before that, please take a look. I really need as many people to take those polls as possible, and I'm fully willing to accept late poll results if you're just willing to take the poll.

Thanks again guys, and I'll see you tomorrow!

   One more poll, PLLLLEEEEAAAAASSSSSE? ^_^;
Hi everybody! Thank you so much for taking my psychological poll yesterday! You guys are really helping me out. But if you guys could help me out just one more time, I would really be in your debt! I know it's annoying, but I need you to please take this poll. It will specifically help me an immense amount with my manga, and I could really use the input! Please take your time, answer clearly, and make your answers as long or as short as you want.

1. Which of the following locations do you find more attractive and exciting? (you may pick more then one, but you must decide which of the ones you pick that you like the absolute most)

A. A WWII battle in the middle of a town in Berlin. Grenades are exploding, planes are shooting each other down and crashing, and our war heroes are shooting through the seemingly endless supply of Nazi soldiers.
B. A battle at sea between two Pirate ships. The scrappy (but fairly good looking) men are engaged in chaotic battle with cannons, swords and pistols, as the smoke rises into the clear blue sky.
C. A factory research complex where an outnumbered team of young men & women fight their way through the massive amount of security guards using firearms and super-human abilities.
D. An all out brawl in a biker bar where one man fights a team of drunk (yet huge) bikers and gang members.

2. Do glasses add or detract from an anime or manga character? (By that I mean, "Are glasses good or bad for an anime/manga character?)

3. Do you prefer male or female characters?

4. Is a cute but less important creature of some type a good addition for a team of characters? (Ex. Kylala from Inuyasha, Pikachu from Poke'mon, Puu from YYH, etc.)

5. Which of the following weapons do you think is the best weapon for a Ghost Hunter? (you may pick more then when, but you must tell me which of the 2 or 3 you pick is your most favorite)

A. A sword
B. A pistol
C. Twin Uzi's (2 fully automatic handheld guns, basically 2 mini-machine guns)
D. Endless supplies of paranormal traps and gadgets

6. Is it a good idea to include an element of romance?

7. Which type of personality do you think makes a good male character?

A. Smart, quiet, clever, sort of neardy, faithful, sort of saddened, righteous, friendly, loyal and intelligent.
B. Bold, rash, comedic, with a "punch first, ask questions later" attitude, funny (but often at the expense of others), care-free and fun.

8. Do you think it's a good idea to re-invent old stories (like classic novels) in the form of manga and anime?

9. Do you prefer more serious romance, or more light-hearted comedic romance like Love Hina?

10. What makes a good male character?

11. What makes a good female character?

Thank you so much for your time guys! This helps me out so much! I'll talk with you guys tomorrow!

   Poll
Hi everybody. How's it going? I'm sort of feeling sad, and I've been feeling pretty weird lately. I feel all depressed, and I can't concentrate. I can't get my homework or my artwork done. Does anybody else feel like this sometimes? Does anybody know why it happens? Sleep? Nutrition? Stress? Any way to get passed it? It's just so weird.

Oh well, whatever, I've been taking a lot of medication lately and I've been sick, so that's probably it.

Today I have one of those polls that I give out every so often. These help me with my manga, my idea development, my psychological studies, and helps me to get to know you better. Please, please, please take it! I really need the input! If you don't feel comfortable answering a certain question, feel free to skip it, but very few of these will touch on personal subjects. But if I start poking at a sore area, please skip it. Your answers can be as long or as short as you want (but the more info about what you think you put the more it helps me. Did that make any sense?). Please don't read the answers of any of the people that took this poll earlier before you take the poll yourself. Are you ready? Here we go!

Part 1
Idea Association
I'll say a word, phrase or sentence, and you tell me the first thing you think about (not the first word that comes to mind, but the first thing it makes you think about). Answers can be as short or as long as whatever you feel comfortable with. Some are ideas, some are self-contradicting statements, and some are to distract you and keep you on your toes.

1. "The House that Jack Built"
2. "Katana"
3. "Road-Rage"
4. "Fade to Black"
5. "Forget It"
6. "Hero of the Day"
7. "Flywheel"
8. "Men Against Darkness"
9. "Blitzkrieg"
10. "Some Kind of Monster"

Part 2
Personal Preferences and Opinions
These are just basic Q&A. Please be as in-depth or as brief as you like.

1. What is the first thing you do when you wake up?
2. What is the last thing you do before you go to bed?
3. When you were a child, what was your favorite movie?
4. Name one person you hate.
5. Name 5 people you love.
6. Define the word "Darkness". And I don't mean "the absence of light", I mean the philosophical darkness, as in "darkness of the spirit".
7. When was the last time you sang to yourself? What were you singing?
8. Do you ever just sit back and watch the clouds?
9. Pretend for just one second that you had the ability to instantaneously travel to Hell and then back to your current location. You would be able to go there without suffering any harm, yet would be able to observe everything around you. Close your eyes, transport yourself to Hell, and open your eyes. What do you see?
10. What is the difference between an Elf and a Dwarf?
11. Give an example of how someone would "Play God"?
12. If Satan were in the room with you right now, what do you think he'd say to you?
13. On a hiking trip in a new and distant location, your father and your best friend are both bitten by a venomous snake. There is no way to contact someone for help, and you only have enough anti-venom for one person. Both your father and your best friend insist you give the anti-venom to the other person. What do you do?
14. Do you think I'm a good person? Why or why not?

Thanks everybody, and I'll see you tomorrow.

Oh, and please check yesterday's post if you haven't already, or if you need the Prayer List.

Sup'? I'm feeling pretty good today! I stayed up waaaaaaay to late last night drawing though. >_< Why does inspiration have to come at the most inopportune times?

I was drawing some concept art of Andrea from my manga that I'm developing, and I realized something. In all the time that I've had her characteristics floating around in my head, I had never given her a codename. Every super heroine/paranormal investigator needs a cool, kick-ass codename. The problem is I can't think of one! That's where you guys come in! I need your help thinking up a cool codename for her.

Keep in mind that she is of course a meta-human (just like Solar Flare and Shifter), possessing psychokinetic ability as well as minor telepathy. In case you don't know, psychokinesis is basically "Mind over Matter", meaning she can affect physical objects with her thoughts.

So, any suggestions? Since psychokinesis manifests in a way similar to poltergeist activity (invisible spirits that move things), I was thinking about calling her "Poltergeist". What do you think? Some of you may remember me asking this question back in September or so, but now I've met so many new people that I think I'll get a helpful response.

Blurbs:
-ElvesAteMyRamen just got her 3,000th hit! Damn, if I had just had 20 more I would have beaten her to it. I'm gonna' go cry in the corner for a 'couple hours now. XP JK!

Site Updates:
If you don't already know, I have a new Song of the week up. It's CKY with "96 Quite Bitter Beings". I have absolutely NO idea what this song is about.

Prayer List:
My Pastor
MichaelsGirl91
The Victims of the Christmas Day Tsunami
Akane the Fox, her friend, and her friend's boyfriend in Re-hab
Miyoko-chan's brother Scott and his car
SILVER TIGER and her cousin in the hospital

and please still pray for Isaac

   ^///^
Hi everybody. I'm feeling OK, but I'm sorta' worried about my grandmother. I hope she'll be alright.

I've really been thinking about my friend Honoto allot lately. She was my very first friend on this site (under the name of chi2004). She was even the very first person to call me "Logan-kun", and she seriously lived in Tokyo Japan (how cool is that?). For those of you who don't know, Honoto went to visit some family members in Florida in September, and got caught in the crap from the hurricanes (I think it was Ivan) and was unlucky enough to be hit with a piece of debris. It was a big piece of wood, like the size of a fence-post, and it nailed her in the ribs. She's in the hospital (I don't know weather she's hospitalized in Japan or not), and it's an extremely serious injury, from which she's still recovering. I'm hoping I can talk to her again sometime soon. She was so sweet, and I have no idea how she's doing. It makes me so sad to think about her. What am I saying? There's nothing to be sad over, because I will see her again sometime soon. But let's pray that God lifts a healing hand anyway, OK? Now, onto the good stuff!

Artwork that REALLY Deserves a Mention:
Why is "really" in all caps you ask? Because it's not only a pic featuring yours truly, but it's also drawn by one of this site's most awesome people: Miyoko-chan! Erin-chan drew this for me earlier this week, and I had to show it to you! Check it out!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
In case you don't know, those two are Atsuko (left) and Tsuya (right) from Erin's excellent manga entitled "The Fire Ruby". And guess who's in the middle. If you said "Brad Pitt", then you're close, but not quite right. Don't worry, it's an easy mistake. /:D That's me in the middle! ^///^ I really can't thank Erin-chan enough for this cute and funny pic! I love it! Thank you so much, Erin!

Quick Question:
Do you guys not like it when the music at the top of my page plays itself? Would you rather it be set to having to be clicked by you to be played? Please tell me, because I don't want to contribute to something that bugs me.

Shout Outs:
To: Raven8763
I can't see the AMV on your site! It won't play, and if I try to play it, it glitches up!

I'm sorry I haven't reviewed your AMV's yet! I'm really busy, so I'll get them reviewed ASAP. I'm sorry for the delay!

Not the most P.C. of Jokes!
Hey everybody. I don't know for sure, but I think Isaac's going to be alright. I didn't quite have the guts to ask him directly, but he was cracking jokes and smiling all through the class. We were watching "The Patriot", so that gave him plenty of fodder! One of the other kids I'm acquainted with in that class is a kid named CJ, and he's from North Hampton (sp?) in Britton (he speaks with a thick British accent, so Isaac has a great time getting him to say stuff like "peanut-butter and jelly". XD). So during the movie, I jokingly asked CJ, "CJ, are you getting a lot of dirty looks from the other kids in the class?", and he busted out laughing along with everybody else! I love politically incorrect humor! Whenever one of the main characters got shot, Jared would go, "What was that for, CJ?!". It was so funny! XD Jared and Isaac are both Jewish, so they make a lot of really funny (but politically incorrect) "Jew-jokes". Jared's all like, "We built the pyramids, but guess who gets the credit for it. The Egyptians! Sure, the work is easy when all you do is crack a whip and get free lemonade!". XD I love that class! We're so open to poking fun at each other, it reminds me of that phone company commercial they ran back during Christmas time entitled "Christmahanaquanzika". :"It doesn't matter if you're a Muslim or a Christian or a Jew. Or even if you're agnostic and you don't know what to do". XD I love it when people aren’t so easily offended!

Blurbs:
-EAMR is accepting submissions for her first Yuki Fan Club contest! Details on her site!
-Azura623 just got a new DVD ripper! Let's hope she makes us some AMV's!
-Miyoko-chan has made a special piece of artwork for me! =^^= I can't wait to see it! Thanks, Erin-chan!

Artwork that Deserves a Mention:

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
This is Erin's (Miyoko-chan's) submission for EAMR's contest. I thought this piece really showed how much effort Erin put into it. I think it's excellent! I wish I had a tail.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Some promotional concept art by celestialessence for her manga, "Devil Hunters". (NOTE: "Ghost Hunter" is in no way, shape or form a copy of "Devil Hunters", or vice versa. It's just a coincidence, they're completely separate genres even!). Nice work, Naru!

Site Updates/Changes:
Apparently I ran out of bandwidth for "Phantom Lord". Hmmmmmmmm. Oh well, I'll replace it with another cool song! By the way, do you guys prefer clicking the music on instead of it starting itself? That way you only hear it if you want to hear it. Does it get on your nerves having to turn it off each time you visit my site?

Prayer List:
My Pastor
MichaelsGirl91
The Victims of the Christmas Day Tsunami
Akane the Fox, her friend, and her friend's boyfriend in Re-hab
Miyoko-chan's brother Scott and his car
SILVER TIGER
Me (that get over this cold/flu)
celestialessecnce (some morons have been stealing her art)
My Grandmother
and please still pray for Isaac

Thanks for all your wonderful comments yesterday. It really made me feel a lot better. Thanks! ^_^d

OK guys, I'll see you tomorrow!
