*Miyoko-chan's uncle is coming home soon! Thank you all so much for praying for her and her uncle. According to the doctors, it should have been a lot more serious than it was, so I seriously think that we may have made a difference with our prayer!
I'm handin' out dome internet goodies!:

Have you seen this anime character?
Yo everybody! What's up? I had an OK day at school, what about you?
Anyhow, while I'm analyzing the results of yesterdays post, I have to ask you guys to help me with the massive collective power of our anime knowledge to identify an unknown character. I have a few pictures of her, so please tell me if you know the characters name or the name of the anime.
Anybody recognize those bizarre mechanical ears?
Sing, sing a song. La la la la la.
I never could use one of those finger string design things either.
Synopsis: Plushie of the character in the foreground (back away from the screen).
Character in question in the midground.
And the best actor in this scene, the wall, placed in the background.
4 mini-pics of the ever-so-cute character in question. I like the one in the bottom left.
Some concept art of the character and anime in question. There are those weird but awesome-looking robot ears again.
Can anybody here tell me the character's name and/or the anime she's from? It would really help me out.

Please take this poll. ^_^
Hi everybody. I have another quick poll for you all. Please answer honestly, and your answers can be as short or as lengthy as they need to be. If you don't feel comfortable answering a question, feel free to skip it. Take your time and please number your answers.
1. Has a song ever made you cry? If so, what was it?
2. What was the scariest movie you've ever seen?

5. Which hurts more?
Finding out that the person you love/have a big crush on is in love with someone else, and that person is...

6. Do you agree with the following statement? Why or why not?
"Boys don't cry"

8. During the days ensuing the September 11th attacks and the Anthrax letters, were you fearful there would be more terrorist attacks?

16. Describe something that someone could do to you that would make you completely disgusted and repelled by that person’s behavior.
17. Where does peace come from?
Thank you for taking the time to answer these. Like I said before, these will not only help me with my psychological studies, but also with helping me get to know you guys better. If you want, I'll take this test myself and post my answers tomorrow. Talk with you guys tomorrow!

Check this out!
Yo everybody. Wassup? I have some really cool looking pictures for you to see. Check this out:
How cool is that?
Similar principles are used by this artist. He's a Street Artist who does amazing chalk drawings that look amazingly 3-D. Remember, these are all completely flat and made from nothing but chalk!
Pool Party!
Down the drain.
This piece is part street art and part performance art.
Look how 3-D that looks!
Pretty amazing, huh?
So, who saw Yu Yu Hakusho, Kenshin and Full Metal Alchemist last night? When YYH came on, I was pissed off. What on earth happened!? They played the first episode instead of continuing the fight with Sen-sui! Why!? Does anybody here know what's going on!?
Well, YYH may have sucked, but Kenshin was pretty good. It was a very cute episode. Tsubame (sp?) was a great character, and all the characters we already knew enhanced the story even further. I was cracking up at the end when Kaoru stepped on the bad guy's chest running over to Yahiko. It was just so subtle and unexpected!
Full Metal Alchemist had me cracking up the whole way through. It was just so funny when they had the repeated gag of the sudden demolition of the buildings Siren claimed she was trying to save. I swear, I would kill to be able to write stories like that!
Anybody else see these or have comments on them?
Alright guys, see you tomorrow!

Check out the pic!
Yo everybody. Not the best morning in the world over here (thanks to my LOVELY family), but I won't let that ruin my day, or at least I'll try. My good friend and excellent artist xxasl90xx has submitted a large group of brand-new drawings, one of which includes me! She was doing requests, and I requested to be included in one of her wonderful fantasy pieces, and here was the result!
AD, the king o' da sea, baby! Isn't that awesome?! xxasl90xx does a lot of fantasy pics, as well as some wonderful fan art of her favorite animes. Please go check out her work, it's amazing! Well, I got to go guys, and I'll talk with you tomorrow.
Oh, and by the way, I have a really quick question for you guys. I heard many of you mention that an un-natural eye color is a good addition to a male anime character. Please tell me, what un-natural coloration looks the best?
Red?
Orange?
Yellow?
Purple (darker purple)?
Lavender (lighter purple)?
A mix of any?
Please tell me what you prefer or think looks the best for eye coloring. It will really help with my manga. Thank you all!

Quick Poll.
Sup' everybody? Sorry about yesterday's post. I just needed to vent a little. Well, after a lot of loud Metallica music, a game of Pikmin 2 and a good night's sleep, I'm feeling a little bit better, but still a little depressed (well, I've been whining about that for a long time now, so it's almost lost its meaning). Last night I watched a documentary on the true story that The Exorcist was based on. It was creepy, but it was very informative. Would you guys like me to tell you about it? I'll leave out the gross stuff, but I think you need to know some of the spiritual dangers that were involved.
Anywho, I have a quick little poll. This will also help me a lot in my psychology studies, so please answer truthfully and clearly. If you feel uncomfortable answering one of these, feel free to skip. Please number your answers and take your time.
1. Have you ever felt a certain way, and a song that was out at the time seemed like it was perfect representation of how you felt? If so, what was it?
2. Complete the sentence with what you think should be used.
The worst feeling in the world is __________________.
3. Is there a certain time of day when you feel the most creative?
4. In your opinion, what is the most powerful negative emotion? (Fear? Anger? Sadness? Lonliness? Hate? Etc.)
5. In your opinion, what is the most powerful positive emotion? (Love? Happiness? Friendship? Self-content? Etc.)
6. Do you believe that thought and matter is comprised of the same essence, and thus can affect each other?
7. When the Tsunami hit Shri Lanka and the other affected countries, do you find that the footage of the destruction and death from the disaster on the news is hard to watch?
8. When you have a nightmare, what is it that you are dreaming about?
9. Have you ever cried without having any idea what you were crying about?
10. Have you ever had an experience (physical or spiritual) that you simply could not explain?
Thank you for your time, and I'll see you tomorrow!

Just a taaaaaad Pissed off and Depressed.
Well, I got no school till' Tuesday, and my exams are over, but I'm still not feeling real happy though. AnimeBlue Girl is leaving soon, which sucks. Just what I need: another friend leaving The Otaku. Plus, my family is less then helpful. I feel like my parents just don't understand how I feel at all. My brother is a jerk, and not just a normal jerk. He's quite honestly the worst person I've ever met. He's deceptive, manipulative, immature, vulgar, obnoxious, mean-spirited, selfish, ignorant, impudent, self-centered, moronic and is just generally just an absolute horror to be around. He's an absolute Cro-Magnon when it comes to how his actions affect others and make other people feel. As long as an action can't hurt him or get him in trouble in any way, he'll do it, even if it meant having an innocent person hurt. He has no sense of integrity, and he gets a rise out of making my blood boil. He's the absolute root of all the problems my family has, and I'm starting to think we'd be better-off without him. My parents have no idea how he acts when their backs are turned, and even though they know some of the stuff he does, they still favor him over me. My parents just expect me to put up with his crap. Put up with it? He's ruined every waking moment of my life he's been a part of. I can't take it anymore. Yet my parents have given him a crap-load of stuff he doesn't deserve, and now there about to start taking stuff away from me that I've earned and don't deserve to lose to give to him. I thought after exams I would actually feel better, but I feel worse. This whole load just pisses me off so much that I just want to go break something. My parents don't even appreciate my good behavior, or my good grades. I know it sounds like I'm complimenting myself, but I really think that they take me for granted. I'm just so sick of this crap. Oh, and just incase you didn't notice yet, the title of this post is a sarcastic understatement.

Grown-Up Shippou!
Sup' everybody? What's goin' on? I'm just chillin' here at home after getting home from school and listening to Metallica. Am I the only one who loves Metallica? Anyway, I have something you just gotta see. Check this out, it's by the ever-so-talented dear friend of mine: ElvesAteMyRamen. You won't believe this, take a look.
Is that not insane!? It's amazing! I was really REALLY impressed by this piece! Me and EAMR have been discussing this piece for a while before she had to leave for her Christmas vacation via PM's. I knew with her talent and creative vision, it would be a great pic. But I never thought it would be this awesome! Lindsey, you really are incredible! Please check out this piece and vote. Unless you have no rational grasp of reality, I can pretty much predict how you'll vote. ~_^ I honestly have not seen a SINGLE piece by EAMR that would ever deserve a "No" vote. Thanks for your time guys, and I'll talk with you tomorrow! Oh, and Lindsey, if you see this message, have you been getting the PM's I've sent?
