  Hey everybody. I submitted 2 more new pics, both of which are pretty crappy. But, you know, whatever. ^_^ Please go check them out! So this makes 4 new pieces of art submitted, and still more on the way!

By the way, I'm overdue to show you guys some more of Lindsey's amazing artwork! Check out her (well, now it's her second) most recent pic!


As soon as I get the time, I'll do an up close and personal dissection of this or another of Lindsey's pieces to show just how much detail she puts in her work. But for now, I want you to really examine this pic. Look at the reflectivity and texture of the hair. It looks so soft and real. One of these days I will tickle-torture Lindsey until she tells me the secret of how to do the folds of clothing so perfect. Or maybe I should just ask her, hmmmmmm, anyway, checkout the intricate folds of their shirts. Each has its own shading and highlighting. And it's all on key with the light source. The expressions are priceless in this pic, but the detail within them is also incredible. Just look at Kyo's eye. Now look closer. Look at all the layers, glints and shades. How amazing is that? And it all looks so smooth and softened. And check out his tongue! Lindsey said it had a very "Warner Bros." feel to it, but that's a good thing! The tongue even has its own set of layers! Lindsey also seems to have a serious knack for blush marks. I couldn't even imagine using more then one color for blushes, just check it out on this pic. And finally, the poses are absolutely perfect. I wish I could draw like that. If you haven't seen this, please go vote on it (and I'm betting you're gonna' vote "yes". ~_^).

By the way, I thought I'd give you some more info on my 2 newest pics. "Pestilence" is a sketch of what I'm thinking should be the look of one of the major ghosts in my manga. He's one of the 4 super-high leveled ghosts, believing themselves to be the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. He's the horseman of Pestilence, which in case you didn't know is disease and plague. Soon I'll have portraits and character sheets of War, Famine and Death as well. "Zombie" is just a crappy pic I did after Josh showed me Resident Evil 4. And by the way, I need to ask you guys a favor. Do any of you know which of the Four Horsemen rides on which horse? I know there is a white horse and a red horse, but I have no idea which rides on which or what the other 2 horses look like. Anybody here willing to tell me or to find out? I know it's somewhere in the book of Revelations in the Bible, but I don't know where.
