Hey everybody. How's it going?

I had a bad night last night. REALLY bad. But I won't spend the better part of the post spewing about it like I did yesterday. Just know that things over here are going down the toilet and straight to Hell.

I'm working on my essay at the moment. Please pray that I can get that over and done with.

I finished vol. 9 of Ruroni Kenshin the other night. Man, such a great series. I can't wait 'till Josh gets some more Kenshin volumes. I can't mooch them off'a him 'till he has 'em! XD
Watsuki creates some of the absolute best characters, doesn't he? I'm big fan of Misao, myself. She's just got such a great personality, and she's so cute! She adds a lot of comedy to the series, both in dialog and action.
I also think Hajime is another great character. He's very stoic and mysterious. Plus, he's got those CREEPY-LOOKING eyes. *shiver* But what I like most about his design is how even though he doesn't seem like it at all, he's still a good-guy. Even now I have a hard time thinking of him that way. But man, he was a GREAT addition to the Kenshin cast.

I haven't heard Hajime's voice-acting in English yet, because I've only seen the Kensing anime up through the end of the story about Yutaro and Raijuta. However, I've heard the voice acting off nearly all the other characters, and though many may disagree with me, I'm very impressed with how they did it.
Unlike the Inuyasha English voices (at least Inuyasha himself), the voice actors for Kenshin are very talented in my opinion. On top of that, Kaoru, Yahiko, Tsubame, Hanya, Hyotoko, Beshimi, Misao, Megumi, Aioshi, Kanryu Takeda and especially Kenshin and Sanoske sound just like I imagined they would sound. I especially notice the difference in the inflection between Hitokiri-Kenshin and "Oro"-Kenshin. Man, that's some real talent, isn't it?

Like I said, I didn't get this far in the anime. But I did get this far in the manga, and it was funny! Apparently, Saito thinks of Misao as a "Weasel Girl", Kaoru like a Takanuki and Megumi as a Kitsune. I guess they look a little similar (such as Miss Megumi having the most angular features), but I still think it's pretty random. But it's funny none the less! XD
