Hey everyone!
Well, I have absolutely no ideas for any original drawings. My mind just went ,"whoop!" out the window and hit the paved walkway below. I think it's from the heat. If anyone lives in the Ottawa valley out there, you know what I'm talking about. The scorching days. The high humidity. That's just weather for the bugs. Blech! it's not all that purty out there. And I've tried everything I can think of to try and get a new charry designed. I went down to the fishing rocks one night and just stared out into nothing. I scared away da fishermen XD I've even put off my drawing a while back and did some more writing----that was a bust T.T Oh my.......any ideas out there?
Anywho-----Guess what?! I found the other Naruto eps! *squeeeee!!!!*And when I watched episodes 123 and 124 of Naruto, it was so hilarious. If you didn't see them----DON'T READ BELOW UNTIL YOU SEE THE CAPS AGAIN:
It was so funny cuz Lee drank Sake instead of his Meds so he was drunk. And as soon as he did the funny little hand things, I knew that it was from an old Jackie Chan movie. Anyone who read the Naruto collector guide would know that Kishimoto-san is a fan of Jackie Chan's 'Drunken Master' movie. I recognized it right away as the drunken fist style----way before Gai said it was, just from the way Lee held his hands (like he was holding a sake cup).
OKAY, YOU CAN READ AGAIN :D
So yeah, that's pretty much it. All the requests are finished (I just need to get them posted XD). I finished watching Fruits Basket----It was so depressing. I hope they do make a season 2!
Enjoy this vid----if everyone watched podcast 10, you'll recognise the song right away:D
Hey!
I hope you all are having a better summer than I am. I've pretty much gone to shut-in mode. I've been writing a book, drawing as a summer homework type thing(keep me busy) and of course watching anime:D But darn it all-- I've been watching Naruto on my computer (you know at youtube) and I only made it up to episode 95. 96+ isn't there. It's so annoying. So then I heard about Bleach and Fruits Basket so I'm watching those. I'm at ep.17 for Bleach and ep.2 for Fruits basket.
My writing's really good--well, so my friends say. I think their just being nice. Maybe if I get your yays and nehs I'll think if it's good or not. I'll post a quote later on this week.
Tee hee! Don't hate me Sasuke fans but this is funny. My friend loves this song. He used to sing it all the time in class to annoy this girl who were in our class. It was this wannabe gothic/emo girl. It was so hilarious the way he used to torment her. He'd look her in the eye and he'd say, "Jesus loves you Sacha, no matter what you look like or how you act." It was so funny, it drove her up the wall. Well, he used to sing the Emo kid song and I'd laugh all the time. He even did the funny lisp-thing. Enjoy, Sasuke the emo kid:
Ah! here we go!
Alright, I found the document. Yes I document important things(I.e. requests) otherwise my mind scrambles and I lose track. Ok, here we go:
~SockMonkeyPower asked for a Pippin
~Inuyasha5150 asked for 2 things. An Inuyasha in Fluffy's clothes and Inuyasha in a poncho
~AngelBestDream asked for a Slayers charry, I picked Zeldagis
~Bullsnake asked for Anko from Naruto
I'll post everything shortly, I'm just trying to organise my school stuff, you know gettin' rid of bad memories and all that.
Love,

OOOKAY! WHO SCREWED UP?!?!?!?!?!
Alrighty, here's my little rant. I was hoping not to do this but their doing it again this upcoming Friday:
YTV'S TOTALLY SCREWED UP!!! I was hoping to watch the beginning of the Prelims. on Friday but was let down as they went back to the tenth question on the First exam. I'm going, "what the pluck?!" you know? I was so excited to see Episode 38 but was let down. THEN, I was hoping to watch Zatch Bell afterwards, nu-uh, Shadows raiders came on. Now I'm going red in the face. I was happy that InuYasha wasn't moved or Gundam Seed or FullMetal Alchemist......THEN IT ALL CAME TO CASE CLOSED (*cough* Detective Conan *cough*) WHICH BY THE WAY DIDN'T AIR TILL 12 AM!!! Alright by now, I'm steaming at the ears (I can get more torqued than I am now so feel lucky you don't have to hear me at that level). Of course I have no problem staying up that late (I watched "The Omen" [The original one, not the remake] and "Damion- The Omen 2" They were pluckin' freaky!) it's just I was dissapointed. That's the second time that the Anime Schedule has been screwed with here.
Someone, comfort me! There's no way I'm gonna be able to survive if they let this continue. I need Conan! I need Naruto! I need Ed! I need IY! Oh, you get the idea!
Mai
"Late last night and the night before,
Tommyknockers, Tommyknockers, knockin' at the door.
I want to go out, don't know if I can,
'Cause I'm so afraid of the Tommyknocker Man!"
-The Tommyknockers
Did anyone notice......?
Since 6/6/6 is coming up I've been noticing a couple things:
Okay you know that curse mark on Sasuke and Anko's necks? Did anyone notice that it's in the shape of the 3 sixes in the circlular pattern?
And what about Sasuke's Sharingans? Those look suspiciously like sixes to me.
I'm telling ya, I'm freakin' out here. 6/6/6 is in 3 more days and I noticed these last night watching Naruto. Is there a relation between 6/6/6 and Those two things? "Hitsuzen?" (For all you XxxHolic fans, you should know what that means)
My friends birthday's on The sixth of June so yeah, she's fine with it but I'm not! I keep telling her, I don't want to see your fetch while I'm seated in class and your in the office. What's a fetch, you might be asking. Well, a saying in Newfoundland (my home)is that when you see your friends fetch, something bad is going to happen to them. A fetch is either a projection of your friend mingled in with people (They look 3-D, some rumours say)or your friends spirit. You can't touch them and they can't touch you but it is and omen. If you know that your friend, let's say, is out of town but you see them before they get back. you thought you saw them, but actually it was their fetch. This means something bad happened to them like they were hurt or they got really ill or they died. It's really spooky.
Not as spooky as the ghost-tales from home though. Man oh Man, I'd hate to be down in Lawn, NFLD on the sixth (Grim grinning ghosts come out to socialize XD). Oh, Oh, Oh! Wana hear one? If not don't read on *NOTE:THIS STORY IS TRUE! NO LIES, MY GRANDFATHER DID SEE THIS! IT'S ALL TRUE*:
There is this little story told in my family about what my grandfather saw one day walking to his mother's place. As he was walking down the road, he saw this figure on the hillside in a black dress. The top and bottom of the dress had this white lace frilling it. He couldn't see the face of the figure because of the black cape it wore. He couldn't identify the person (everybody in Lawn knows everyone, it's that small) so they must have been someone from out of town but something about the figure seemed familiar. He kept on walking down the road to his mother's place. As soon as he was close enough to the house, the dogs inside barked like they normally did signalling someone was coming. He was walking down the sloping driveway when he saw the figure again, at his mother's back door. It moved as if it didn't have feet. It reached out with it's hand to open the door and he saw it was pale(he was slightly far away so he didn't know if they were just sick or what). It turned the knob and whispered in. He was scared now and bolted down to the front door. He threw it open, ignored the dogs and looked for his mother. When he found her, she was seated quietly in the house as if waiting. He told her that they had to go as someone was in the house. She said I know, that's your great grandmother, she stops by once and awhile. The funny thing was he knew that his great-grandmother was dead. He walked down the hall to her old room and opened the door. Sure enough there was the figure, clad in a black dress with white lace. He saw her hands, just bones.
That was a true tale told in my family. Another one told all around Lawn is about the two children who went toboganning. Wanna hear it? If not, don't read any further *NOTE: AGAIN, THIS TALE IS TRUE, TWO CHILDREN DID DIE AND THAT BOY DID SEE THEIR SPIRITS ON THE BRIDGE:
During the wintertme down home, kids would grab their sleds and a parent, go down to the cliff seeing as how is was the steepest part in town, and go toboganning. The 2 new children who had just moved to Lawn and went by themselves....bad decision. The cliff is suspended over jagged rocks in the roaring ocean. The parents would stop the kids as they would slide down but those two children did not take their parents. Usually before the end they would stop but one time sliding down they forgot to stop and went over the edge. Their fraile bodies slapped against the rocks at the bottom and by the time they had gotten help down there, their bodies had been swept away with the current.
During the following Summer, a boy who had watched the two children go over the edge was walking home from fishing. As he crossed over the bridge he stopped as he saw the two children, the two he saw who plummetted to their deaths, were sitting on the rail of the bridge. The older of the two children was cradling the younger in their arms and it spoke to the boy. It said we can't sleep until our bodies are found. The boy started to run, leaving the two spirit-children behind, back to his house with rods in hand. He ran in the door and told what he saw to his parents who called the police. They searched all the coves but found nothing. They ended up puting stones into two children's caskets and burying them. The children were never seen again and the cliff was never used for toboganning again.
Newfoundland is a very supersticious(pardon the spelling) place because of the many accounts of ghost-sightings. I wonder if my neighbor will see her ghost-friend on 6/6/6? Read on if you like*TOTALLY TRUE, SHE TOLD ME HERSELF*:
During the Lunar Eclipse a few years back, she was in her cottage with her two cats getting ready to go to sleep. Before she could even drift she heard her cats bouncing off of things down in the living room. She sat up. The cats had now bounced on the bed in front of her. They were looking at the corner of her room with their hackles up. From it drifted a small orb which stopped beside her bed. It began to take a form, the form of a woman(she knew that from the long hair) holding something in her hand threateningly. My neighbor shouted, "Go away, you're not real. You don't exist." The ghost-girl dropped what she had in her hands and then looked as if she was wailing, pleading actually with my neighbor. It put its hands to its face and looked like it was crying. It sunk ino the floor and the cats jumped down on the spot where the ghost-girl was, Hackles up and hissing.
Too many creepy things happen around me, I know.
Don't have nightmares now *Evil smile twists onto my face*
Lots of love,

*yawns*
Boy oh boy what a break. So boring. I've lost all will to draw over the month of May and whatever I try to draw it comes out like crap! Let's see, updates....updates.... WEll I haven't been on here for almost a month now so might as well give 'em to you. Let's see....updates
-I read "The Dark Half" by Stephen King (Don't diss S.K. man, or I'll come at you all George Starky like reciting the Tommyknockers rhyme [you have to have read the books to get what I'm sayin' you know what I'm sayin' G? OMG! I swear I'll never do that again!] anyways, it was a really good book. I recommend it for anyone over the age of 15 which is funny cuz I read it at my age (which is now......haha! you're gonna have to read the whole post to find out:P)
- I'm STILL behind in my assignments (all projects done, thank god) and it's driving me bonkers! I've fallen off the sane train so many times over the past few weeks I think 2+3=squirrell (It's a joke in mah class. A girl thought someone said "What lives in a tree?" when actually they said "What's 2+3?" she said squirrell! teeheeXD)
- It is now 9:35 pm. about 35 minutes ago I was tested for mah yellow belt in Goju. OMG I was so nervous I thought I messed up the whole thing and I could feel my lower lip trembling *cough* No self confidence! that's why I joined*cough cough*
-And finally (drumroll please) My birthday was on Sunday, May the 21st. From it I recieved over $125 from relatives, a book and CD showing me how to make my artwork look more professional on the computer (It works with Adobe Photoshop 6 but I REALLY need the PSP Elements. There's no frickin' bucket tool on the Frickin' PSP 6. Throw me a Frickin' Bone here!). With $50 of the money, I wnt out to Coles and bought 2 things: A Birds of North America book and The Naruto Collecter guide! Whee!
Well, that's all. Other than losing will to draw and regaining the will to write (My visual-spatial and literary intelligence are always competing for top spot). Don't worry peoples, I'll get it back sooner or later just no getting on my backs about requests cuz really I'm having enough trouble trying to figure out this Frickin' Advueu monitor with frickin' MSI Multimedia tower and Red Dragon Booster Network. It just has to be so frickin' difficult.
Love,
Mai
Late last night and the night before,
Tommyknockers, Tommyknockers knocking at the door,
I want to go out, don't know if I can
'Cause I'm so afraid of the Tommyknocker Man
-"The Tommyknockers"
I am the knower,
I am the bringer,
I am the owner,
Psychopomps.
The Sparrows are flying
-"The Dark Half"
Now my tale is told!
