It's all you're Fault...

..You take me by the shoulder
And whisper in my ear
"You're soul is growing colder.."
"I can feel it when you're near."

And you tell me not to worry
That loneliness is a phase
Blisters fade to callusses
There is no exit to this maze

Oh, you are my only friend!
My mind, my memory--my life
All my gaping wounds you mend
With needles as cold as ice

But how I love you, friend!
You've never let me down
But please...don't leave me..
In these firey tendrils which I'm bound

But you laughed at me that day..
And slapped me across my bloodey cheek
When I asked for nothing but a kiss...
Only you're affection is what I seek..

And now my empty mind you haunt
The night is filled with screams
Her contented smiles never cease to taunt
A tireless existance, it seems

"Just please.." I beg myself
"Ease the noose around my neck..."
"Take the Scrapbook off the shelf,
Lets watch the sunrise on the deck."

I was promised a chance to reconcile
Or so that is what you said...
And I believed it for a little while
That is, until the dream had fled

A withered boquet in one hand,
A clenched fist in the other
And raw emotion seeted inside
Threatening to smother

You snatched the flowers from my grasp
And threw it to the ground
"You can drink you're way straight to Hell!"
You hissed without a sound

As not to wake the child
That slept soundly in you're grasp
You're child..MY child...
A promise that wasn't meant to last...

"I'm so..sorry.." I whispered
Choking through tears unable to be spilled,
Her life--I had scarred
A sacred bond had been killed

I fled her house in terror
Back into you're embrace I cried
"I knew you'd just come running back.."
"You cannot give birth to what has died."

You're right, my friend..
I never should have ran
From the safety of isolation
As a heartbroken man

Wow..that was pretty darn long...xD But at least it was worth it. His "friend" is not the same person as his love. He's talking about something different during the first part.
