OMG the trafic sucks really really really bad! We tried getting home 2 days ago around midnight, but the government blockaded all roads out of Houston! so we went back to rice university to take a nap. then our jouney began.

5:00-6:00 We leave for dallas
6:00-1:30 We are stuck in traffic...and houston...
1:30-2:00 We cut through areas by going off road (we don't care anymore...the govt. didn't care about us, so why should we care about them...)
2:30-3:00 We go get some smoothies and stuff ^_^!
3:00-1:00 we make our way back to Dallas.

We cut through and went off road on places and traveled through backwater roads. We drove for 20 hours to get home, and we drove about 4 hours of looking for roads the day before we left. The sight was very scary because gas stations were out of gas or had very very long lines and fast food places were closed...Even McDonalds closed!! It was like a big ghost town...Thank god I brought chips and food! The restroom though, was the highway and govt. property! >:D! Some people were being rude and called us rude! One person asked for jumper cables to the air. Then she accused us of not trying to help and said that asians people won't answer! An elderly person said "It is not necessary for us to answer you question." We had cables, but we didn't help her cuz she was being mean and wasn't being clear. I was really pissed! The traffic was horrible, and some people were mean... Other people were nice and helpful, and they gave us directions. God bless them! Also, some of my dad's friends who live in houston are not evacuating...and some people in rice are not either. Some people drove for 12 hours but headed back because they couldn't get out of the outskirts of houston. All I can say is may the divine forces protect them... This is just one story out of millions. Let's pray to the divine dieties for the protection of the people staying...
