   Eid is here!

I know it probably means nothing to most of you, but it is a great day.
Being a Muslim (just Muslim, not terrorist - I know you understand the difference) it means a great deal to me.
I was feeling quite down lately. Somehow I lost my will to draw and write. That is why there were no new posts this week.

Being in a better mood now, I do hope to complete the picture I started. Maybe I'll even do it today (don't take my word for it, but I'll certainly try).

Well, gotta go. See you around! I'm so glad Eid is here!

Another section for Chapter III

This section of Chapter III is quite long, so it took me quite some time to translate it.
But, I have completed it, and I hope to complete the entire Chapter III by the end of this week.
I didn't have time to work on my character list, though. It will simply have to wait.

   ???

I have accidentaly deleted some posts I had no intention of deleting, so I'm totaly confused as to what I am supposed to do now.

So, I'll just inform you that there are now short descriptions of both Chapter I and Chapter II available at my website.
I also added a character list for the first two chapters.
I will add a complete Section 1 of the Chapter III at the website tomorrow. I am not in the mood to post it here now.

I must also apologize to all those who like my fan art. I was simply not in the mood for coloring, although I have drawn a cute art some time ago. But I promise I will do my best to complete the picture in this week.

Chapter III - Together Again
The time has come for another chapter to start. This is going quite well (even though is Friday the 13th :-) ).
I hope you liked the story so far. For those who just started reading, there are complete Chapter I and II at my website and also a short description of Chapter I and tomorrow I will add a short description of Chapter II.
In the meantime, here is a beginning of the first part of Chapter III.

Chapter III /Section 1/ (Part 1)

Before the second group came to Mine everything was already planned. They were leaving this town tonight and Jelil was restless from expectation. This time tomorrow, they will already be by the plant in Stream, and then the mission will begin. The plan was to replace several Ilderin guards in the darkness by their people and make sure to sabotage the defense from inside. Since they were going to attack the plant anyway, they intended to destroy it completely. That will be a big blow for Ilderins. All necessary information was gathered during they two months stay in this town. False soldiers prepared their roles well, so that their colleagues Ilderins wouldn't notice that there were other persons. Jelil was one of them, too. He wanted to see his mother, so that he can, if possible, at least partly prepare her to escape. In his mind, he promised Bariz that his effort to find their mother and set her free would not be in vain. He was determined to succeed.
Avam's group was in for hours of march. But Jelil didn't even notice it. His thoughts were by his mother. More than a year passed since Evening Light fell. Did they treat her well in imprisonment? Was she hungry? Was she cold at night? Does she know that two of her sons still live? He didn't even notice that they already reached the place where they'll form a temporary hideout. Avam tapped him on his shoulder encouragingly. He could understand Jelil's present feelings. Jelil patiently waited for nightfall. It seemed to him that hours pass so slowly. He felt he would be most pleased to leave immediately. For two months already he waited impatiently for the time when they will be able to leave Mine. He felt like a prisoner. And now when he was here, his restlessness only increased.
When the last sunlight disappeared at west, the group moved. The determined guards were soundlessly removed and Adems took their places. The night was quiet. To sound of alarm sounded. Now they should only wait for the new guard shift, which was to come at dawn. Jelil did his guard duty calmly. There was no going back now. All possible errors should be reduced to minimum.
The sky started brightening. Dawn. Soon the rays of sun will color the sky pink. Jelil remember how specially beautiful dawns were in Evening Light, when the rays of sun, emerging from the eastern hills, managed to reach the sea water, whose constant restlessness folded them up on the surface. He noticed an Ilderins' soldier coming towards him. The shift. He greeted him silently and moved from his post slowly. He saw other Adems leaving their position, too, and moving into the plant. Several short moves to show each other that everything is all right and they began the other phase of their mission. Jelil observed his area shortly. Everything was placed exactly according to plan. Adem's spies did a good job. As soon as the morning arrives everyone will be up. He had little time to examine the systems and set them so that Ilderins' soldiers can't approach the main hangar, holding the basic weapon supplies. Disabling weapons Ilderins' soldiers had with them was not his task. One of the fake guards was already on his way towards the parenergy reactor, which he will adjust so that fluctuations appear that will unable the use of laser weapons. In the meantime, another one made sure to change the code needed to open the main gate with the one known to rebels waiting outside. The third one adjusted the system that opens the canteen door. When the time for the afternoon meal comes, most of the Ilderins' soldiers will be locked up in that room. Windows of all rooms were barred, and without the laser weapons to melt the bars, they will not be able to break them and get out.

Chapter II
We have reached the end of Chapter II. For those that didn't manage to get into the story, I have posted a short description of Chapter I on my website, as well as full Chapter I and Chapter II. I hope to add a description of Chapter II in a day or two, and I am working on a character list, too.
I will post Chapter III after I fully translate it. In the meantime, I will post parts of it here.

Chapter II /Section 5/ (Part 16)

Adila remembered Burhans' interest for Jelil and decided that this was a good moment to ask Hazim about it.
      - Why is everybody so interested in finding Jelil?
      - Everybody?
      - It was unusual to me that Burhans want to help me at all. But, if your purpose is to reach Jelil, then I am a good excuse to play do-gooders not revealing a true reason of your interest to anyone. And that further means that not even all Burhans must know of your interest. Even those belonging to your order, for I doubt ordinary people have idea what you are doing anyway.
      Hazim became serious.
      - I always claimed you are a smart little girl for someone who was raised surrounded by honesty and trust.
      - Don't avoid an answer. What does Jelil know that everybody finds so interesting?
      - I cannot answer that question for you. I can only guarantee you that we do not want to hurt him.
      - Your task. Your task is to find Jelil and learn what he knows?
      Hazim waved his head.
      - My task is to PROTECT what he knows.
      This answer confused Adila.
Burhans knew what Jelil was hiding? And they wanted to prevent that from falling into the hands of Ilderins?
      - You said you failed to complete your task.
      - Ilderins caught Jelil and took him away, did they not?
      - You brought him to Zibia?
      - I thought he would be safe there. Zibia would not let Ilderins come to your continent without permission.
      - That is why Ilderins made sure they get permission.
Adila's voice sounded sad. Hazim regretted telling her so much. But he needed her trust to be able to take her to Adem, and he swore to himself that he will take her to Jelil, no matter where he was.
      - Do not be sad. There was one person you met, who acted completely without any personal interest, only out of pity for you and a wish to help you find the one you fight so fiery for.
Adila looked at him, expecting him to tell her who was the person in question.
      - Do you remember the mentor you met on a day Jelil was taken away?
How could she not remember him? He gave her hope. He was very kind to her and gave her a chance to start her search for Jelil.
      - Not many people are let into what Jelil knows. This mentor asked a help for you only because he appreciated your strength and a depth of your feelings. I was there when he made his request. Without my task, it would have been rejected. Do not lose faith in good people in this world that help others without any personal interests, Adila.
      Adila smiled thankfully.
      - I must prepare for the trip.
She left Hazim and went to her room. She forgot all about lunch. He was glad he managed to encourage her. He didn't want to break her spirit. It was too rare and valuable. He asked himself what Jelil felt for Adila. He was afraid it could happen that she went through this entire voyage only to learn that he has forgotten her and that he never felt anything for her, except that her company was pleasant to him, as it was to anyone who met her.

Chapter II (Part 13)
Another part 13, but no questions for you this time.
For those who have no patience to wait until I post a next part, I have posted a complete Chapter II on the site I opened for this story.
For those who like to take it easy, here is a usual small part of the story:

Chapter II /Section 4/ (Part 13)

Jelil looked at a clock. He slept longer than usual. Avam obviously didn't want to disturb him. He got up and went to look for Avam and ask what is expected of him while being here. He saw Avam talking with a masked man, who soon after retreated and disappeared. He approached. Avam noticed him and cheered up.
      - Jelil! How did you sleep?
      - Is everything all right?
      - Oh, you saw one of our intelligence agents. Do not be alarmed, everything is alright, I was just brought the information I was looking for some time at Elefif's plea.
      - At Elefif's plea?
He remembered Elefif put all his powers in motion to help Bariz find their mother. What if a plea to Avam meant that? If Avam received some information, perhaps…
      - When I think about it, this information concerns you too, Jelil.
      - My mother?
      - It seems as if Elefif and your brother are very good friends. For Bariz he asked for an engagement to find out the location of your mother. Since Ilderins only number captured Adems, it was very difficult to learn her number and reach her location.
      - But you made it.
Jelil's voice was full of hope.
      - Yes, we made it. The message was already sent to your brother.
      Jelil was thrilled.
They found her! They really found her! Her location is known! We can think of a way to pull her out! It is most important that we know where she is!
Avam smiled. Jelil's eyes sparkled and he couldn't suppress a smile.
      - All right, don't get too excited now. We will stay here for a while. Before the time for other group to come, we cannot leave this place anyway. That means we will wait a little before we pull your mother out of imprisonment.
      - Will not Elefif Demir see to it?
      - I have no doubt he gladly would, but considering our being closer to the location in question and know the positions of Ilderins better, we will take the task ourselves.
Jelil fret that they would leave him out of this task because of his emotional link to it.
      - I wish to take part in her rescue.
      - I thought you would. I will not prevent it. I know you can control your emotions when needed. While we're staying here, we can come up with a plan…

Chapter II (Part 12)

Several weeks later, Avam's group went to one of the main hideouts at the southeast to get some rest and gather its strength. This place was completely different than the one Jelil spent time in before. It was a small town, surrounded by mountains, with townspeople working in the mines, earlier for Adem, and now for the conquerors. For them, basically, nothing changed. The townspeople were left in peace as long as they worked. Adem's rebels would blend in with citizens of that place at the time they spent there. There were four rebel groups spending time in that town one after another, claiming to be the same people. Since Ilderins were quite uninterested for the townspeople of Mine, the inspection that checked if Adems are leaving town of if they do their job seeing their numbers and the effect of their work, did not notice that, although there were always the same number of people, some of them were different. Rebel groups that used this hideout took a good care of their numbers. That is why a member of Avam's group stayed in caves over Night as a new member of Elefif's team. Avam had a family in this town.
      - Jelil, I want you to meet my sister Elifa.
A plump woman with a cheerful face, grayish hair tied in a bun, approached Jelil.
      - Elifa Raif. Pleased to meet you. My husband Ruveid is still at work; but meet my little girls Hedia and Jemina and my three little boys Entaz, Hurshid and Jesar.
Jesar, who could have been about 4 years old, was delighted to see Avam and ran to his arms. Avam loved these kids and enjoyed being near them. The oldest, Hedia, had a birthday tomorrow. Avam never missed to be present at a birthday of any of his sister's children. All proud, Hedia said to Jelil:
      - I will turn 19 tomorrow and we will make a grand party hear in house in the evening, when the working hours are over. You should come too.
Jelil didn't even hear Avam's answering that it goes without saying that Jelil will be there too. He heard another voice in his head: As of today, I am 19 years old! And in honor of my birthday I invite you to take a brake from your training and go to town with me and visit the Spring festival!
      - Are you all right, Jelil? You seem somewhat absent to me. You should take some rest. Come with me.
Avam led him to the house where he was planned to stay. When they entered, he asked Jelil:
      - Another memory?
      - Yes. But mine this time.
      - Do you want to talk about it?
      - It's nothing important. I just remembered that, on the day I was taken from Zibia by Ilderins, I was also invited on a birthday.
      - An important birthday?
      - In what sense?
      - Was the person who invited you important to you?
      - We were very good friends. She helped me a lot, to recover from my injuries, as well as to get accustomed to a new world. I am sorry I cannot find a way inform her and her father I'm fine.
      - Her father?
      - Yes. He is a biology professor on Zibia. He was very kind to me and gave me the support I needed then.
      - Do you plan to return there?
      - On Zibia? Yes. I would like to visit them. It is only that now I have neither time nor possibility to do that.
Avam realized that those Zibians were dear to Jelil, but he didn't manage to comprehend the depth of his feelings for this girl he undoubtedly cared for, when he thought about her after almost four months since his return and everything that happened here daily. In the time they spent together, he began to like Jelil. He knew how to take an order, but could also express his own opinion when needed. He was a reasonable young man, although Avam thought it would be better for him not to suppress foreign memories inside him, which he did. Avam wanted Jelil to explore the knowledge given to him, but it obviously put a great pressure on him, so he didn't want to force him to anything. He left Jelil to take a rest.

Part 11
I have placed a full Chapter I on the site I opened for this story. I hope to post a short description of it soon. I will also do my best to add sections of Chapter II that I have already translated, so that those who start reading now, or who missed a section of a chapter, can get acquainted with a story more easily.
Well, there is a very small part of Section 3 left, so I will start with Section 4 of Chapter II today as well.

Chapter II (Part 11)

Their first objective was to get to a more important center from where Hazim could approach the information they needed. How he planned to do that was not known to Adila, but she gained a full trust in him in the meantime, and she knew that he would do nothing that he cannot complete. So, she followed him obediently, happy that he's with her, wondering how could she have found Jelil at all if she came here alone.
For several days they were traveling around the more important centers and Hazim tried to reach through to the information they wanted, but without success. That what he was interested in was too well guarded. That is why he decided to seek help from Burhan's spies that lived in a capital as Ilderins. It was most likely that they will find the information they needed there. It took time to get in contact with Burhans from Ilderin, but finally they came to the capital as the visitors of an Ilderins' genleman Ezher Firuz, who was in fact a Burhan's intelligence agent. Adila continued to improve her knowledge of Ilderinian and used it almost at all times, trying to correct any mistake she was warned about, in her speech, as well as her accent. Soon she started to feel more comfortable when using this language.

***

Bariz felt sorry that Jelil was leaving, but it seemed that it would be easier to get information of their mother's whereabouts that way, so he asked Jelil to open his eyes and ears well, hoping to learn anything about her. Jelil promised he will do so. Unfortunately, although he was a part of many different actions, espionage and attack alike, he failed to learn anything new for some time.
When they were resting in a temporary hideout, about a month after Jelil joined Avam's group, a courier brought a message from Bariz, wishing him a happy 21st birthday. He totally forgot about that. But Bariz didn't. Jelil remembered how Bariz always loved to organize birthday parties for all his brothers. That was an opportunity for him to show his organizing skills, and to present some of his newest literary works. Bariz always loved to write. Some of his works were published when he was only 24 years old, and when he was 27 they offered him to make a movie according to one of his books. Although Jelil was never home at his birthday since he started the Military Academy, Bariz never failed to send him a card. There was only one time he didn't receive a card from Bariz: three days before Evening Night fell, when he became 20. At the Academy, Bariz' cards meant nothing to him, but now, this short message, brought by the courier, meant very much to him. It meant that he still has someone. And he was very glad for it. He rejoiced in his heart that Bariz didn't change. He couldn't believe it possible that a simple message as that could give him such great moral support, especially after his failure to learn anything about their mother.
