Chapter I (part 16)
Jelil said nothing. Elefif’s assumption concerning his father seemed logical; and the death of Durak was a confirmed fact. He closed his eyes. Although he considered the possibility that none of his family survived long ago; and although he was already informed that his brothers didn’t survive the attacks of Ilderins, it still hurt him to hear irrefutable facts of their deaths. Ferhia, who listened in silence, compassionately placed her arm on Jelil’s shoulder and offered him a bowl of soup that she brought for him and Bariz earlier.
      - Thank you, I would like to eat with Bariz.
Actually, he was not in a mood to eat at all, but he didn’t want them to be worried about him.
      - I suppose you know about Alemdar and your mother.
      - My mother? So, she…
      - Hold your horses! So, he didn’t have time to tell you yet. She’s alive. She works in one of Ilderins’ plants somewhere on this continent. Bariz engaged all his abilities to find her. However, it is hart to obtain information. The only thing he managed to find out is that they didn’t take her to Ilderin, which is very convenient, for it will be easier to find and rescue her here.
Elefif spoke as it was the most natural thing that he and his group will help search and rescue her. Jelil wondered about the depth of the friendship between this man and his brother, when this one was ready to engage rebels on a task that takes so much means and time, and brings nothing but the pleasure to one of their members to have his beloved one pulled out of imprisonment. He sensed that his trust toward the leader of this rebel group grew. He knew that this was the man whose every fellow-fighter could rely on in any moment.
      - I would like to help searching her.
      - You can join our group if you wish. I hope you will not be in our way.
He looked at him severely and the tone of his voice pointed out that he meant on Jelil’s previous situation. When they found him he was a prisoner of Ilderins.
      - The time will show.
      Elefif laughed loudly.
      - A diplomatic answer. All right. You already met Dilaver Beshir. He is my right hand. I’ll inform him that you’ll join our group. Report to him tomorrow morning, so that he can sort you out where needed.

Part 15
All right, we are slowly reaching the end of Chapter I. The last part of it will be posted tomorrow. Therefore, I would like to ask you some questions:
1) Did you like the story so far?
2) Would you like me to submit some fan art related to the story?
To those who already answered my first question through their comments, thank you. I'm really glad you like my story.
Chapter I /Section 3/ (Part 15)
Although they were good friends, Elefif and Bariz addressed each other using their surnames. Nobody knew when and why they started it, but it seemed that the two of them shared some mutual secret known only to them, and that it was somehow connected to their way of addressing each other.
      - We have very few people capable of organizing warehousing at our small space so that the equipment is placed in a practical and easy to approach way. When it comes to organizing space, your brother is unsurpassed.
Jelil nodded to show that he understood. Elefif was glad for that, for he knew that brothers would love to talk to each other now, and he separated them by giving one of them a task.
      - So, Shihab tells me you want to know what happened when Night fell.
      - It is my wish to know what happened to the rest of my family.
      Elefif nodded seriously.
      - You surely know that your brother Durak worked in Night at the Department for Maintenance of the Antiaircraft Satellite.
Jelil remembered Durak’s ambition to research the endless secrets of the universe. His acceptance in the Organization for Space Research as a junior assistant was a great step toward the fulfillment of his greatest dream. One month before the breach of Ilderins, he was accepted into the the Department for Maintenance of the Antiaircraft Satellite. He was the youngest member of the Department. He was 25 years old at the time.
      - When the Ilderins breached our defenses, one of our main priorities was to protect research and science centers in Night. Your father was given that task. He had three brigades at his disposal. I was in one of them. The defense was carefully planed and precisely set. There were already several defense mechanisms set for the new Ilderins’s systems, adjusted according to earlier experiences made when southern bases fell. However, there was not enough time to improve the system and we did not include many other aspects of the new technology of Ilderins, unknown to us by then. To make a long story short, our defense fell, one brigade disappeared from the face of the earth, and when they realized that the satellite was completely blocked for any new instructions, Ilderins killed all the members of the group that worked on its maintenance. I know, for I was there. My group was protecting the inside of the OSR building. I stayed alive only because they thought I was dead. But, I had no crucial organ hurt. As soon as I got the chance, I pulled out through the ventilation and garbage disposal systems. I observed the situation closely. I saw the few soldiers that survived being imprisoned, but the general was not among them. I can only guess that he, too, died in battle.

Part 14
Either no one has an idea why number 13 was chosen to be unlucky, or you didn't have time to comment my yesterday's post. In any case, I guess I'll stay in ignorance concerning this one. I myself believe in none of the popular "bad luck charms", and I don't see why I should.
Anyway, the thirteenth part has been posted and now it's time for the fourteenth one.
Chapter I /Section 3/ (Part 14)
      - Welcome to my humble abode! It’s not our childhood home, but I have everything I need.
At that moment the room was entered by a beautiful young woman, about 25 years of age, with thick black hair. With her big dark eyes, she looked curiously, first at Jelil, and then at Bariz. Bariz smiled.
      - Jelil, meet my wife Ferhia.
Ferhia looked at Jelil with a surprise.
      - But, didn’t you say that your brothers didn’t survive?
      - I did indeed think so. However, there is no doubt. This is Jelil. He’s alive. And now I hope he’ll tell us how he survived.
      Jelil was somewhat confused.
Bariz got married? In a situation like this?
      - Are you tired, Jelil? Do you want to sit down? I will bring something for both of you to recover your strength.
Ferhia smiled at Jelil, gave a quick kiss to Bariz and went out.
      - She is wonderful, isn’t she?
      - Bariz…
      - You finally decided to speak. I was beginning to worry. You haven’t spoken a word since we met.
      - I was little confused.
      - YOU were confused!? The last news I had heard was that Evening Light has fallen and that you died defending it, and then I saw you alive and well in one of our camps.
      - Many things happened.
      - Tell me.
      - I am not sure if I’ll know how. I am confused myself. Why don’t you first tell me what happened to our parents and our brothers.
      Bariz became serious.
      - I have nothing good to tell. You know that, at the time of the first breach, I was in Artist, where they were making a movie according to one of my books. When Ilderins entered our terrain, our army was sent all around to stop the breach. Alemdar’s unit came and made a base in Artist. You know it lays at the crossways. It was an obvious target of the attackers. I decided to stay in the city. It didn’t seem that the danger was so great then. Nobody expected something like that. Ilderins’ attack systems were different than before, and our defense systems were simply falling. When it became clear that our army cannot stop the attackers, a mass retreat begun. The survivors gave a backup while the citizens were brought out of the city. I didn’t want to leave before seeing what happened to Alemdar. I am sorry, Jelil… I carried him out of the battlefield on these arms.
There was no doubt, then. Alemdar was dead. He was the oldest of four general Shihab’s children. At the time of his death, he was 28 years old. He dreamt about being a great army leader like their father. He was an extraordinary student of the Military Academy and a pride of their city. Jelil saw his ideal in him. He admired his skill, calmness and courage; and he wanted to reach his abilities. Bariz knew this; and that is why it was difficult for him to inform Jelil that there was no hope Alemdar survived. Jelil sighed.
      - What about the others?
Bariz just wanted to answer, when Ferhia entered, followed by Elefif. After saying that he was glad to see Jelil managed so well, he asked Bariz to help with warehousing, because the young man from another group, who usually took care of these things, recently lost his life in an action that went wrong.
      - I am sorry. I will get to work right away. Demir, you were there when Night fell. I just wanted to tell Jelil about that. You’ll do that better then me, anyway. Please, tell him.

Part 13
Thank you very much for your understanding. That is why I love my Otaku friends. You are all very open. I LOVE YOU GUYS.
We have come to part 13, which just makes me want to ask you some questions:
1. Do you think number 13 brings bad luck?
2. If you do, why do you think so?
3. If you don't, why do you think number 13 is generally thought to bring bad luck?
4. How do you connect it to Friday, a day that's usually normal, only when connected with the 13-th day of the month it is said to bring bad luck?
I would love to know what you think about this.
In the meantime, here is the thirteenth part:
Chapter I /Section 3/ (Part 13)
Jelil easily adjusted to the new surroundings full of busy people that accepted a newcomer easily. It was not unusual for some of the surviving Adems to join their group, not knowing where to go and not wanting to be a prisoner of Ilderins. He spent the rest of the day helping where the help was needed and he didn’t have the chance to see Bariz again. Still, he was pleased. He managed to come back to Adem and find survivors, just like he wanted, even if this was not the way he imagined it. Moreover, knowledge that at least one of his brothers is alive gave him comfort when he thought of others, who lost their lives. He wanted to speak to him to learn what has happened to the others; to learn news about the fate of his friends from Evening Light; but all that had to wait.
As soon as the sun went down, ready little group of rebels who tirelessly fought against the occupation of Ilderins, left their position and, with a quick march and in silence, set out southeast. There were all kinds of people, older and younger ones. There weren’t many women. They were probably somewhere safe, except for the ones that wanted to be included in actions. Bariz walked by Jelil’s side. He didn’t speak to him. He would only glance at him from time to time, as if he wanted to make sure once more that this young man beside him is really his brother. Jelil yearned to speak to him, but he understood the importance of moving in silence. Ilderins were everywhere. It was important to leave as little trace of their movement as possible. That’s why he followed the group in silence, absorbed in thoughts. He remembered Zibia. He felt sorrow for not being able to inform Adila that he’s alive and well. When he gets the chance, he will go to that continent again. She will surely still be there.
After about three hours of travel, in which they took vehicles here and there, using older roads that were not under the careful control of Ilderins, and carefully on foot avoided some control points of the enemy, the group stopped at the plateau over Night, the capital of Adem. A short password, given by the leader, and the way into the underground opened. In the cliffs over Night, made of solid rocks that disabled sending or receiving any signals, the rebels of Adem found a shelter for themselves. No. They have dug it. It was incredible. They were still working to make more space. The material was carefully removed and from the outside it was impossible for anyone to see if anything has changed on the cliff.
Bariz led Jelil toward one of the caves. They dug separate caves that served as habitats. The place was narrow, but spacious enough. It was connected to another small room, which served as a bedroom, and one little bathroom. The food was made and served collectively in a big cave.

Part 12
Before I post this part there is something that I wish to inform you. A name "Talib" will appear. This name is of Arabian origin and it means "pupil". As you read the story you will realize that the name suits the person it was given. It has nothing, and I mean ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the Talibans. At the time I was first creating the characters for this story the attacks did not happen, and I don't have an intention of changing the name of the character, no matter what happens in the world. It took me some 4 years to complete the story (it was complete in 2004), and now I'm just translating it to you from Bosnian language. This is just fiction, so you should see it as such.
Now that this is out of the way, I can post the next part.
Chapter I /Section 3/ (Part 12)
They knew exactly what they were doing. One of them momentarily disabled all communications, while the others, separated in groups, as was earlier agreed, at the same time took Ilderins out of all vehicles. One of the attackers from every group quickly examined all vehicles and took out food and equipment. Ilderins' soldiers were gathered and a group of attackers took them east. Jelil was separated from Ilderins, but not one of the attackers spoke a word to him by now. They only gave him a sign that he should follow them, and so he did. A whole action could have taken about ten minutes. The vehicles were abandoned. They were marked with special systems and taking them would bring Ilderins' soldiers right to the attackers. They were quickly moving toward southeast. In that direction laid High Mountain, where these people probably had their hideout. Jelil decided to wait for one of his saviors to break the silence first, so he followed them without a word to their hideout. As he had guessed, it was at the base of High Mountain. He knew this part of Adem well, and their movement alone discovered to him the probable hideout of the attackers of the Ilderins' convoy. He also noticed that this hideout was only temporary. They probably changed hideouts often to avoid being discovered. The leader of the group led Jelil to a barrack, removed a mask from his face and smiled at him heartily.
      - Boy, when I saw you in that vehicle I thought Ilderins got our Shihab.
      - Shihab! Someone from a family of general Talib Shihab?
      - There isn't a person that hasn't heard about our good general. Bariz Shihab is his only son that survived.
      - But, what happened to the others?
      - Ilderins did, boy. If I didn't know that Bariz is the only one that survived, I'd thought you were one of his brothers too. The similarity is extraordinary. Although, now that I look at you, I can clearly see differences between you. What am I thinking; I am Elefif Demir, a leader of a humble part of the rebellion that you had an opportunity to see in action.
      - Jelil.
      - Just Jelil? Wait a minute!? Akil!!!
A boy of some fifteen years of age came running into the room.
      - Find Bariz and bring him here now! Be quick!!!
It seems as if Bariz has mentioned the names of his brothers. I’m glad at least he is alive.
In less then three minutes Bariz came running into the room with a worried face. He was just about to ask what kind of catastrophe occurred that so much fuss was made about it, but when he saw Jelil, his words just didn’t come out. He looked at him for a few moments with his eyes wide open; and then his mouth stretched to a wide smile.
      - So, you’re alive! You’re alive!!!
He started laughing and hugged his younger brother so tight that this one had to struggle for breath.
      - What happened? How did you survive the attack at Evening Light? I was told they saw you being hit. Are you alright? How come you’re here? Why didn’t you send a word? Where were you all this time?
      - That’s enough already! You will have time to speak to your brother. I just called you to check if it’s him. Now, hurry and do your work. You know that we leave this hideout tonight.
Bariz startled, muttered something inarticulate to himself and, after he took another look at his brother cheerfully in amazement, hurried out of the room.
      - It seems you really are Jelil Shihab. Why didn’t you say it right away?
      - Because you said that all Bariz’ brothers were dead with such certainty, that it could seem that I’m making it up.
      - Well, there’s no time for talking. Now that you’re here, help us remove signs of our stay. We never stay in one place for too long. We rob a convoy here and there, draw some information from our prisoners and disappear. That is the only way to survive nowadays. Those damn Ilderins are extremely resourceful; we must constantly move and think of new strategies.
Elefif said the last sentence more to himself.
      - You’re still here? Akil!
      The boy appeared momentarily.
      - Lead a newcomer to Dilaver!
      - Follow me!
The way the leader of the group mentioned his father gave Jelil the impression that this man knew him well. He wanted to ask about it, but it seemed that this was not the right moment, so he followed Akil in silence.

Part 11
All right, it's time to start the third, and the last section of this chapter. As explained before, I'll continue numbering the parts until a whole chapter is complete. I hope you found the story interesting so far.
Chapter I /Section 3/ (Part 11)
***
Ilderins' aircrafts moved south. In one of them, separated by the force field, Jelil slowly started coming to his senses. He needed only a few minutes to remember everything that has happened and to realize where he was. He asked himself where they could be taking him. It was still unclear to him why did they let him live. He looked toward the windows at the front of the aircraft hoping to see something, but he was to far away. From here, all he could see was a blue sky dappled with clouds. He started looking around the aircraft's interior. It was poorly set: benches for the soldiers and several cabinets for the equipment. Four Ilderins' soldiers were sitting silently on the benches, with serious faces. There was no talking to them. He examined the space he was confined in carefully. He saw no possibility of escape. Therefore, he decided to wait and be alert. No matter how impossible it seemed, he might get his chance. Even if the slightest possibility arises, he didn't want to miss it.
After awhile of flight, an aircraft trembled and started to loose height. There was a slight commotion among the soldiers. One of them went to the pilot cabin to ask about the situation. In a short moment in which the door was open he managed to make out that the aircraft was switched to the modus of aero glider, and that they will be forced to land on Adem, as well as that the support was requested from the land forces to transfer the prisoner. Where to? That, he didn't manage to hear. In any case, this could be a good opportunity to escape. An aircraft soon landed, together with the escorting aircrafts. It was strange that all aircrafts had system failure at the same moment. Did they enter the area covered by the Adem's antiaircraft satellite? Impossible. They knew exactly what area the satellite covered. Ilderins stood up and one of them removed the force field around Jelil. It was a good moment to think of escape. He carefully observed the positions of other Ilderins' soldiers as they led him out of the aircraft. They were careful. Too careful. It seems that they didn't like his earlier attempt to escape. He saw no way to lose them this time, even for just a moment.
They transferred him into one of five freight vehicles in the convoy and set out south. It seemed that they had an intention of bringing him to Ilderin. He still didn't understand why. He searched through all his memories, but he couldn't find a motive. Suddenly, he experienced a short memory of Evening Light in flames. But the strange thing about that memory was that he saw himself, too, trying to swim out of the current, as if he was watching from inside the cave under the cliff. He knew that cave well, and he often saw the sea from it, but never before had he seen a burning city from there, and especially not himself, fighting to survive. The memory disappeared in a moment and he glanced at the Ilderins' soldiers to see if they had noticed anything. Their expressions were as indifferent as before. It seems that his astonishment was not visible on his face, and he was glad for it. Trying to calm down, he glanced through the window. He knew the road they were taking. He was using it several times to go to Colossus, the main economic center of the western Adem. For a short moment, it seemed to him as if he saw movement in a grove by the road. After a short glance at the others in the vehicle, he looked at the grove more carefully. However, this time he could notice nothing, and he has already started thinking that his nerves were playing with him, when the convoy suddenly stopped and all around armed men rushed at it, masked to their surroundings and equipped with contra-seekers.

Part 10
Is it just me, or are the weekends too short? I could use another day or two :).
But, since that's not possible, I'll do my best to have a good day (although it's dark and rainy outside and I'm in no mood to leave my pleasantly warm room).
Regardless of all that, I am still regularly translating parts of my story for you, so here is the last part of the second section of Chapter I:
Chapter I /Section 2/ (Part 10)
In general joy, music and voices, Jelil seemed to hear the sound of an aircraft. Only after he came to Zibia he had the opportunity to meet such sounds, since flying over Adem was disabled, but he was certain about what he heard. He turned in the direction of the sound and petrified in a second. There was no doubt. A sign of a lightning on an aircraft, as well as its dark blue color, were more then recognizable: Ilderins. His thoughts flew at an enormous speed.
What are they doing here? It is not possible that they decided to attack Zibia? What would they do that for?
The next thought came like a shock.
What if I brought them here? Perhaps they have learned that someone from my continent lived here? But, what kind of danger would I alone present to them? Perhaps they believe that I could involve Zibians in our conflict, that I could ask them for help?
He abruptly stopped that direction of thoughts.
I am probably overreacting. They may not even know that I am here and are coming with friendly attentions.
Whatever they attentions were, one thing was clear to Jelil in every case: he must not be seen. He looked around quickly, searching for any kind of shelter. Then he noticed several Ilderins coming closer to the crowd. They were carrying weapons. That still didn't have to mean that they had an intention of using it, but it disturbed him. He quickly retreated deeper into the crowd trying to get lost in it.
Zibians noticed the incoming of the newcomers and a mayor approached them with a smile to welcome them and ask them what he could do for them. Ilderins didn't speak Zibian, but they made it clear that they are looking for an Adem of whom they knew he lived with them. In the meantime townspeople noticed that Jelil was not in the mood to meet these people. Since, in some way, he already became a member of their community, everything was clear to them: they will respect his wishes and won't let the newcomers reach him. The mayor tried to explain to the Ilderins' soldiers, in the friendly manner, that the man they are looking for does not want to speak to them. Although they didn't understand him, Ilderins understood that these people had no attention to give them the person they came for. Therefore they threatened with their arms, and more of them came out of the aircrafts that landed in the meantime. The aircrafts were placed surrounding the crowd, and its artillery was pointed at them threateningly.
Jelil decided not to wait and see what Ilderins indent to do. He judged that it would be most convenient to break out of the encirclement to the north, where there were some low bushes he could use as a temporary cover to reach the cave in which the professor studied blackies. He could somehow manage to climb to the upper shaft to the wood's edge, and in the woods he would already be safer. If Ilderins came only for him, they will follow him and not hurt the people of Morning Village. As he decided, so he did. In a moment of carelessness of one of the Ilderins' soldiers on that side, he rushed from the crowd, grabbed his weapon, fired towards the other soldiers and jumped into the bushes. Not stopping for even a moment to check the reaction of Ilderins, he hurried into the cave. Months of training paid of. He had no problem climbing to the shaft and disappearing among the trees in the forest. He didn't go far. He wanted to know what Ilderins will do, so he quickly found a convenient cover from where he could take a glance at the field.
Ilderins quickly organized themselves after a first moment of surprise and soldiers were already sent all around to find and stop him. Jelil was relieved to see that the townspeople remained unharmed. Quite roughly, Ilderins’ soldiers forced them back to their houses, but they killed no one. Now he could peacefully concentrate to his own situation. It was not good. There were many Ilderins’ soldiers and they have spread all around. They certainly won't need too much time to find him. He checked his weapon. He met with another surprise: it was sent to stun.
Is it possible that they want to capture me alive!? But, why!?
He had no time to ponder. Dead or alive, he didn’t want to get into the hands of Ilderins. Therefore, he decided to follow their movements carefully and change covers. As one of Ilderins went by, he couldn’t help glancing at his weapon. Like the one he took from one of them before, it was not set to kill him. The other soldier held something that wasn’t a weapon.
      Seeker! They brought seekers too!
He quickly changed his cover and crawled into a trench. Seeker’s signals will reach him with more difficulty here. However, the fact that they brought seekers too, lowered his chances to avoid capture. He had to think of something quickly. Squeaky sound warned him that he was already discovered. He jumped quickly, keeping his weapon ready, shot one of Ilderins and started running away. However, he was not the only one that heard the seeker’s sound. Ilderins came quickly running and shooting at him and he felt he was hit. The feeling was completely different then the one that he felt before, when he was hurt at the time Evening Light fell. He felt pleasant warmth spreading through his body...

Still Sleepy...
I got up early to post this to you because I'm going out with my family this Sunday, so I'm still kind of sleepy *yawn*.
I am also working on a new fan art, but I won't be able to complete it before Monday.
As announced, things in my story will start getting interesting tomorrow. For now, here is a next part for you:
Chapter I /Section 2/ (Part 9)
Jelil spent a whole winter in the surrounding woods and mountains. Snow and ice made his training harder, but he was happy for that because he wanted to grow stronger. Every morning he got up before dawn and went to the nearby slopes grown in woods, and spent whole day training. He would bring lunch, so that before the rays of sun start to disappear behind the western mountain chain, he didn't return to the little town. The winters were especially cold in southeast of Zibia for the cold sea current flowed by its shores, so that even the sea didn't soothe the winter temperatures. Moreover, the wind from the sea was very cold. At the end of winter Jelil already felt that he got stronger, that his sight was sharper and his hearing clearer. It was not possible for him to practice with professional military weapons, but he has therefore developed his abilities with a hunting and cold weapons.
First day of spring brought a sudden change of climate. A warm wind blew and the snow melted all around. Here and there the first spring flowers, tiny and tender, could already be seen. That afternoon Adila looked for him at the clearing where he usually stayed during his trainings. She still wore warm clothing, but it seemed to Jelil that se combed her hair differently, that she put a lovely little ribbon with a flower, and that even a light scarf that she wore had a nice flowery pattern, as if she intended to look more beautiful then usual today.
      - I hope I didn't disturb you in something.
She smiled cheerfully, as if she was especially joyful today. He was curios to know the reason for her more then usual cheerfulness.
      - I was taking a break anyway.
      - This clearing is very beautiful, especially in spring. Even the little stream is murmuring brightly as if it's happy that it is not covered in ice anymore, and the purple and white little flowers are calling the meadow to become green.
Jelil could not suppress a smile.
She missed a profession. She should have been a poet.
Adila frowned, trying to look offended.
      - Are you laughing at me?
      - Never.
This half-serious answer caused a cheerful laughter to Adila.
      - How old are you, Jelil?
What's that got to do with anything?
      - Twenty.
      - Then you're not much older then I am. As of today, I am 19 years old! And in honor of my birthday I invite you to take a brake from your training and go to town with me and visit the Spring festival! Will you?
She gave him a sweet, pleading look. He couldn't say 'no', so he just lightly nodded his head. Thrilled, Adila took his hand and led him towards the field to the west of the little town where big festivities were always held.
When they arrived at the field, Adila said Jelil to wait for her.
      - I'll go bring us each a piece of a big 'spring cake' that we make here every year when the spring arrives.
First day of spring was a first day of a New Year for Zibians too, and since the weather usually improved somewhat before that day, the day was perfect to celebrate out in the open, that all the people of Morning Village rejoiced. With his eyes, Jelil followed Adila until she got lost in the crowd. All the villagers, old and young, exited their houses and gathered at the field today. They already knew him well and greeted him, wishing him, and all the others around, happy spring and a New Year.

Part 8
Two more posts (including this one) and things will start getting interesting again. Perfect, if you were planning on going away for the weekend. For those staying, I hope you'll like the parts I post, even if there isn't action there.
Before I post this part, I just wanted to thank all those who visit me every day and comment my posts and fan art *hugs all*.
Here I go:
Chapter I /Section 2/ (Part 8)
      - Ahhh! Again! You just daydream!
Her smile was replaced by a serious, caring expression, which was also not uncommon for Adila.
      - Tell me what bothers you. I thought we were friends.
The thought that she cared about his feelings gave him joy. He didn't know why. She cared about everyone. Finally, he said:
      - I think it's time for me to think about going back.
      - Going back?
      - Yes, to Adem.
      - Why? You said it was occupied by Ilderins.
      - That's precisely why. I have to know what happened to the others. Perhaps there are still survivors. There is certainly someone who is still fighting for our world. Perhaps I can find them and help them.
      - So, you're not afraid that Ilderins might hurt you?
      - They will surely try.
      - But, if you don't know if there are any survivors and where they are, you could be killed before you find them. Don't you think you will preserve more of Adem if you stay and survive?
He gave her a surprised look. This kind of attitude was uncommon for her. Noticing his puzzled look, Adila got confused, noticed insecurely that she had forgotten something and hurried home. He didn't follow her. With a slow pace, he went towards the beach. Looking at the horizon, deep in his thoughts again, and again feeling restless, this time stronger than ever, he didn't even notice when professor Ulfet appeared by his side.
      - I hear that you attend to go back to Adem.
      - Yes.
      - You will need a good ship and a crew...
      - No. I don't want to bring any of you in danger. If Ilderins take you as a threat...
The professor placed a hand on his shoulder.
      - Did you consider the possibility not to bring yourself in danger? You are still young, what great change would you bring even if you do go back? Where would you go? Whom would you turn to? How would you prevent falling into the hands of your enemies? You will achieve nothing by letting them kill you. Why don't you stay for awhile and think about it?
He tapped him shortly on his shoulder and left him thoughtful.
To stay for awhile... To think... But I am thinking! I think every day and I still can't find peace! What do I do!? Dad! Are you alive? Alemdar, Bariz, Durak,... Mom...
The morning broke fresh and sunny. The first snowflakes fell on the ground covered with dried leaves. Jelil was already prepared for the four seasons, and not just rainy and dry ones, like in his homeland. However, unlike the fall that caused an interest in him, the winter met him absorbed in much more anxious thoughts.
To go back and die? To stay and never learn what had happened? To wait? For how long?
This kind of questions kept going through his head. He couldn't find a single answer. What the professor said made sense, but his whole being craved to see, to find out... He decided. The professor was right; with his current knowledge and abilities, he wouldn't stand a chance. That is why he'll stay and practice. He regretted that he never had the opportunity to complete his military training. He had to train himself. He will separate a part of the time he spent helping the professor in his examinations and learning from him; and devote to whole-day training. He had no reason to abandon evening lessons with Adila. They will be a rest to him. He got up and went to find her father and tell him about his decision.

Part 7
Although I do my best to draw every fan art well, it seems that only InuYasha and Naruto related fan arts draw attention.
I mean, I really believe colored Touya turned out great, but he got some 7 votes in three days, and I submitted Naruto yesterday and he's already got 23 votes.
However, I will still continue to draw characters from various series. I simply like those other series too. It's just that it makes me sad not to be able to truly share my love for them with the others.
Well, no time to be complaining, it is time to post a next part of my story.
Chapter I /Section2/ (Part 7)
Full six month had to pass before Jelil felt he was able to use his body to the fullest. Nothing similar to the experience with the books from Adila's house happened to him again. However, sometimes he had memories he was sure he never experienced. He spoke about it to no one. He was uneasy since that started happening. Learning about Zibia with Adila and the professor gave his thoughts some diversion and calmed him. Professor Ulfet was an acknowledged biologist and Adila studied biology attempting to be his help and support; and, when the time is right, to continue following in his footsteps. He learned that her mother died giving birth to her and, since her father never got attached again, she had no brothers or sisters. Their loneliness additionally firmed their attachment to each other.
Although he enjoyed the life he had on Zibia, kind hearted people, lessons Adila taught him of her world; he sensed that the time has come for him to go back home, to Adem, to see what was left of it, are there still free Adems and if there is a way to improve their situation. He knew that he has to do it, that he will not be able to live quietly knowing what condition he left his home continent in.
      - Jelil, you do not pay attention!
Adila's voice startled him from his thoughts. She watched him half angry, half humorous, with a smile on her face. She always smiled while she spoke. People of Morning Village loved her for her cheerful temper and a friendly way of communicating to everyone. True, one of the main life philosophies of Zibians was to treat every living being with respect, for they are all originated from the same Creator, no matter the place of birth, intelligence or race, but Adila had that feature incorporated in her very character and it was always distinguishable, no matter the situation. He valued her honesty and openness, although he felt that he could never be so trusting to people himself. It was probably the consequence of living in a different world. He hoped Adila will never meet the circumstances that would make her doubt her ideals. Deep inside, he felt joy that she was born in a world without the parenergy. No matter all the advances the parenergy brings, this innocent expression and this carefree view of the world can be obtained only by living in a friendly environment, even if it had no civilization advances, which, he had to admit, Zibia was not lacking, only that they were of a different character. If he ever gets the chance, he will have to bring some of their solutions over to the people of Adem.
