   Still Sleepy...
I got up early to post this to you because I'm going out with my family this Sunday, so I'm still kind of sleepy *yawn*.

I am also working on a new fan art, but I won't be able to complete it before Monday.

As announced, things in my story will start getting interesting tomorrow. For now, here is a next part for you:

Chapter I /Section 2/ (Part 9)

Jelil spent a whole winter in the surrounding woods and mountains. Snow and ice made his training harder, but he was happy for that because he wanted to grow stronger. Every morning he got up before dawn and went to the nearby slopes grown in woods, and spent whole day training. He would bring lunch, so that before the rays of sun start to disappear behind the western mountain chain, he didn't return to the little town. The winters were especially cold in southeast of Zibia for the cold sea current flowed by its shores, so that even the sea didn't soothe the winter temperatures. Moreover, the wind from the sea was very cold. At the end of winter Jelil already felt that he got stronger, that his sight was sharper and his hearing clearer. It was not possible for him to practice with professional military weapons, but he has therefore developed his abilities with a hunting and cold weapons.
First day of spring brought a sudden change of climate. A warm wind blew and the snow melted all around. Here and there the first spring flowers, tiny and tender, could already be seen. That afternoon Adila looked for him at the clearing where he usually stayed during his trainings. She still wore warm clothing, but it seemed to Jelil that se combed her hair differently, that she put a lovely little ribbon with a flower, and that even a light scarf that she wore had a nice flowery pattern, as if she intended to look more beautiful then usual today.
      - I hope I didn't disturb you in something.
She smiled cheerfully, as if she was especially joyful today. He was curios to know the reason for her more then usual cheerfulness.
      - I was taking a break anyway.
      - This clearing is very beautiful, especially in spring. Even the little stream is murmuring brightly as if it's happy that it is not covered in ice anymore, and the purple and white little flowers are calling the meadow to become green.
Jelil could not suppress a smile.
She missed a profession. She should have been a poet.
Adila frowned, trying to look offended.
      - Are you laughing at me?
      - Never.
This half-serious answer caused a cheerful laughter to Adila.
      - How old are you, Jelil?
What's that got to do with anything?
      - Twenty.
      - Then you're not much older then I am. As of today, I am 19 years old! And in honor of my birthday I invite you to take a brake from your training and go to town with me and visit the Spring festival! Will you?
She gave him a sweet, pleading look. He couldn't say 'no', so he just lightly nodded his head. Thrilled, Adila took his hand and led him towards the field to the west of the little town where big festivities were always held.
When they arrived at the field, Adila said Jelil to wait for her.
      - I'll go bring us each a piece of a big 'spring cake' that we make here every year when the spring arrives.
First day of spring was a first day of a New Year for Zibians too, and since the weather usually improved somewhat before that day, the day was perfect to celebrate out in the open, that all the people of Morning Village rejoiced. With his eyes, Jelil followed Adila until she got lost in the crowd. All the villagers, old and young, exited their houses and gathered at the field today. They already knew him well and greeted him, wishing him, and all the others around, happy spring and a New Year.
